I want to create a helix bar that resembles a DNA strand. I know how to make a screw, but I want a flat rectangular end. Almost like twisting a  metal bar.Anyone Help? Im using creo 3.0

Hi can anyone tell me the difference between to two configs pro_colormap_path and global_appearance_file ?I found that he first one the path (of course) where Creo looks for a files namedappeatrance.dmt to lod wehn Creo starts.Is this correct ?So whats the other for ? global_appearance_file also leads to a dmt file.Is this just added to the first one ?

Hi,I am facing a problem while integrating the matlab with creo 2.0.I have successfully completed the steps that are required to start Simulink in Matlab.While adding the registry file in creo 2.0 gives me the error as shown in the screenshotPlease help me out if any body knows the solutions for this.i have tried for all different versions i.e Pro/e 4, Creo 2.0, and Creo 3.0.If possible also share some better solution to do thisRegards,Jignesh

In OTK we have pfcSession->GetCurrentSelectionBuffer() to get current selections on model, but I can't found how to change current selection filter without using pfcSession->Select(pfcSelectionOptions_ptr). And is there any action listeners like "On something select" or so ?

I am looking for a solution to create a 3D loop similar to one shown in the attached picture out of 2D arc segments.The 2D arc can have straight portion in the ends. Idea is to fabricate a 3D pipe using 2D bent pipes. Any suggestions to address this?

I've designed a keychain with a personalised text to be 3d printed.The idea is to have creo automatically save the keychain model using a new name to my harddisk each time this new name is read from an excel file (which consists of a list of names).it should also use this name as a parameter input for the extruded text on this model.creo should repeat this process as many times as the number of names in the excel file.Still sounds simple doesnt it.. but is it realistic?

Hi,I am trying to link excel to CREO so that when I change the values in the excel sheet I automatically get the respective 3D model. I could save the excel sheet from the family tables in Creo into the working directory but was unable to link it to the CREO 3D models. Any suggestions?Thank you.

how to edit text in  nested repeat  region empty cell

Every time I try and add a dimensional annotation (radius, length, etc.) the annotation flashes and disappears. It does list in the model tree, but with a little black box next to it. If I enter <Annotations/ Edit Definitions> all the annotations will appear for editing; but then after hitting <Enter> the troublesome annotations re-disappear [and have the little black boxes next to them].

Or il est très compliqué d'ajouter d'autres normes dans l'outil.Sous le répertoire ISO, il faudrait pouvoir créer des sous dossiers par normes à renseigner et qu'elles soient chargeables à la demande.Cette proposition fait suite à l'appel C12579556.
