Trying to add a comment in the middle of a mapkey... Using '!' to designate start of a comment isnt working. I am seeking assistance with the measure tool. After I click on an initial reference (which highlights in green) then click the second reference (which highlights in green and the original un-highlights itself) for the dimensinal information I need, the second reference replaces the original in the populated box and no dimensional information is given. Is this an issue with some kind of "snap" setting? I am using Creo 2.0.Thanks for your assistance!

Anyone know if there is any development of Trail files going on? Or are they becoming extinct?From a non-coders perspective (there is my caveat), it seems like they are so close to being awesome, useful and powerful. But right now they are downright fickle! It seems like it would take a relatively small amount of polishing to really clean them up so that they are reliable and down fall apart by simple and common stuff (like moving a window...or evidently "@ sel view", and seemingly many other commands).Can PTC make them just work? IF they did they would not only be more useful for the occasional file recovery, but also better for using to automate tasks.Should we bother creating an idea for this? I look forward to hearing people's opinion on this and any news they may have for future development.(I only marked this as Creo parametric, but if they exist in other "apps" let me know and I will add them too)

So, I’ve been hearing all the chatter about PTC Community and getting rid of the Exploder etc. but since I don’t attend the conferences or spend much time at PTC community can someone in the know summarize the changes we can expect regarding this?My assumption at this point is that the Exploder will disappear someday (without notice) and I will need to go to PTC Community and try to somehow recreate the best software support system I have come to know.I don’t want to start a new diatribe about the merits/issues of each system, I think we have beaten that horse to death (to no avail). I just want to know what the path forward is supposed to be.ThanxTony

I have a plastic model that performs a complete model draft analysis in under 1 second in wf3.0 (250mb ram) , 5 seconds in creo2 (250 mb ram) and I end task after 2 minutes and over 5.5 gb ram in creo 3 m020. This makes us wonder if new is not often better. any thoughts PTC????

Hi, I am new to creo parametric... i downloaded creo 3.0 but i have a problem, whenever i want to extrude, the extrude tab comes up but the sketch tab doesnt come up.. I am quite certain i set it this way by mistake but now i want to revert back to the way it was by default but i havnt been able to... please anyone who knows how to get this done.. because the sketch tab doesnt comeup, i am unable to draw sketches which has practically rendered the software inoperable for me.. please help someone. thank you.

Why is security marking grayed out. I added two symbols to a model and only one can be chosen as a security marking. The other is grayed out. I even removed the one that worked and I still can't select the other.

I have 4 holes in a simple .prt file in creo, out of which 1 is in Top and 1 is in Left orientation and 2 are in Front orientation. Now when i create a hole table i.e. Table->Hole Table. It only shows data for those 2 holes in front view. Is creo's hole table implemented this way or there's some catch behind it. Please let me know. Need answer ASAP.
