Dear Experts,We are in the process of upgrading from WF5.0 to Creo 2.0, and looking for any feedback specifically to Regression issues. Did anyone have issues with models not regenerating going from WF5.0 to Creo 2.0.Any input is appreciated and thanks in advance,Anil
Hi everybody,I would like know, how Pro/web.link works.if possible, someone could show me how increase my engineering tasks.thanks in advanceGabriel Rocha
SolidWorks makes it easy to view all the constraints in a model. When I try to do this in Creo, I have no clue where to begin. No matter where I look, there seems to be no button or menu for viewing the constraints in my model—which of course limits my ability to change them. Can someone please educate me on where to find this very basic and important info? I feel like this should be immediately obvious and intuitive by merely glancing at the GUI—you know, as in SolidWorks.
Clint,Thank you for posting the link to the place to find the compatibility of the computer with the software.Sluething to see how I could find that on my own was a little more difficult. I found the link in the Quick Links on the Support home page.https://support.ptc.comIn the Platform support, thing seem to be quazi alphabetical, but since they look alphabetical, you may miss what you are looking for. Here are a couple of examples:Also, could you add this to the drop down menu from the top:I would have search these tabs first to try and find the information and would expected it to be under the Support Tab if not on an earlier tab. Thanks,Dale
Question for Creo expert users: I'm cutting a 3-sided rectilinear notch into the periphery of a disc, and Iwould like to know if the "add taper" option can be used to create 2different taper angles, one angle applied to the 2 opposing sides of thenotch and another angle applied to the 3rd side. Thanks in advance, --Jim James WittesMatthew James, LLCPrinceton, NJ609-921-9056-
Thanks Randy! That's exactly what we were looking for.I had tried Mike's suggested method but couldn't get Distances to show up.
All -I have a user doing an offsite presentation in a few days, and we are looking for a (preferably free) model viewer so he doesn't have to deal with our VPN or logging in to Creo. I did a quick search here and see several older posts for products from eDrawings, Kubotek and Delcam - is there anything new and exciting that we should look at as well? Thanks in advance -Chrystal JohnstoneSeattle, WA
Is there a way to show multiple results of Measure > Distance on the screen at the same time?TYIA
Is there is a way to open my files from the academic version of Creo 2.0 to a commercial version? There were many useful applications I did during school and I would like to use them as resources.
Does any one know of any documentation relating to modelling best practice in Creo Parametric? Either on here or from PTC (or even the wider world). I'm looking to create some documentation to define a company baseline standard for new employees. Many thanks.
I work on STL data with Restyle environmentI want to close an open gap(below). Fill hole tool does not work because it requires closed loop(so far I imagine this could be a cause)I thought I can add faces but, created ones do not maintain the shape/curvature of adjacent facesHow do you solve such issues?
Hi I am using creo 2.0 and facing this error while iam constraining a component.
hiwhen I try do something of curve equation i see symbol "t" i don't understand what meaning and what is represented can anyone help me and thank

Hello,Im facing issue in opening workspace in Creo Parametric2.0.Anyone please help in finding out the reason. See the attachement for the error facing. Thanks in advance.Regards,Sumanth Maguluru.

I want to calculate the torsional stiffness of a cross member and compare two different materials. So i put Steel as material and enter the values:Material 1Tensile Yield Stress: 460 MPa Tensile Ultimate Stress: 670 MPa Material 2 Tensile Yield Stress: 550 MPa Tensile Ultimate Stress: 760 MPa After this, I do two simulations, one for each material. When I later open the Measures dialog box it shows that the "max_rot_x" is the same on both crossmembers (the rotation is in x-direction). This doesn't make any sense to me. The cross member with the better material quality should have a higher torsional stiffness than the exact same cross member with less quality, right? Is there any other way to calculate the torsional stiffness?See the pictures below
Hello,i´have been trying for long to do a Model Analisis. But I always get the error: "Insufficient Constrains".I have tryied everything. i have changed the material properties. Different places for constrains. I have also reserched in internet for a solution but I can´t find anything helpfull. Have someone an idea. Thank You.
I have done a static analysis on a beam and I want to calculate the stress at a specific point. How do i do that? I have tried using the dynamic query but I cant pick out the exact point as I want to.
