just came to know catia does not have a text option in sketcher.and pro/e has it for so loong...we use this text option regularly for a our work...th reason i am posting this is....we keep on saying pro/e takes so many clicks..and this is so bad in pro/e.... and this can be done so easily in solidworks,inventor.....and so on...well lets appreciate some wonderful things in pro/e!

When the NC check is finished playing in Creo 2.0 my screen always goes back to the pre-NC check state. In WF5.0 the NC check would allow you to view the material removed until you move the screen view and then it would disappear. Is there a setting somewhere that I don't have set correctly or is this just the way it is now with 2.0?Thanks,Matt

I want to make a cylinder, and it has a hollow inner spiral. I can make a hollow inner spiral,but how can I make it inserted in a cylinder.The picture shows a object, but it doesn't satisfy my requirement.I need a hollow inner spiral.I'm a beginner to Pro/e, but I have limited time to finish thsi object. This seems like it should be fairly simple - go to "open" and bring in a *.pts file. But when I go to bring in a file, Creo doesn't even see the files, regardless of whether I tell it to look for all or just "*.pts". I've seen the actual physical data in the file and I can access it both in notepad and excel - in both cases, the coordinates are separated by spaces and not tabs. I've included sample data from the file and I'm not sure why I can't pull it into Creo. So i am looking for a few things here. 1. How do i remove the hole table title or change it to something more applicable then Hole chart....2.is there a way to get teh hole tables to show more intelgent hole data based off the internal hole data from the hole coman?3. Is there a way if i cannot edit the table correctly to lock a new table onto the end of the hole table and manual fillin the cells. 4 is there a way to not have the hole labels return to default location when i updae the table?ThanlsDonSorry if these seem like very basic questions but i just resently came back into working with PTC products and am trying ot work my way through the bumps i am coming across in the road.

Hi allI changed m creo/elements browser to mozilla based,it was working well and good,but suddenly a day became it displays blank when i go to Windchill, other websites are running normal like 3D model space. My windchill and folloeing website http://www.ptc.com/community/landing/creo-elements-pro/start.htm also not loading properly, for the given link website doesn't show any image just showing words only. But when i open the mozilla browser indvidually the given following link works well.My question why the windchill loads and doesn't show the contents on page in creo/element browser? and i have attached for your reference how the web page have loaded when opening windchill and following link in mozilla based browser.please advice and help me to sort out this issue.Thanks & RegardsViswanathan.K+919940589005

Hi - I'm brand new with 3D modelling. Have been playing around with Element/DM Express and getting used to the tools and capability.One thing I don't know how to do is create a hollow door handle. I want to build in the following aspects which is what I'm finding difficult:I want a curved handle that comes perpendicular out of the door and sweeps through to the handleIt needs to be hollowIt needs to be split horizontally so that the top and bottom parts come away leaving me to build in some internal workingsI also want to build various dips in the handle profile where your fingers wrap round.Can all of this be done in DM Express?If so, can someone point to any tutorials that I can watch that helps me make the above model? They can be 4 separate tutorials.Or can someone give me some clues on how to create or tools I need to use?ThanksArjay

Creo Community, I just installed build M050, and normally I copy my customization uifile (creo_parametric_admin_customization.ui) to :C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 2.0\Common Files\<build>\text This is not working. Any ideas? Brad
