I'll start off by giving my opinion: It s##ks. I find that stupid pop-up window, which sometimes hides behind the main one, completely useless. I'm struggling to figure a way to excluse what I want, without everything going away. Another BAD IDEA and another reason I'm staying on WF4. This, and the fact that for the last few days I've struggled to get dwgs done in creo that I could have easily done in a day in WF4 (without the hated ribbon), and the struggles I watch my Engineers go through because they're using creo, validates my decision to stay on WF4. Gah!Anyone else care to chime in?
Hello I wonder if anybody knows where this version of the Creo 2.0grateful ......

I'm trying to create a script that will move some zipped files off of a DVD and unzip them.I can't assume the computer will have winzip or 7zip. I want to do this with just standard Windows commandsIf I right click on the zip file, I can pick open in Explorer, and it shows me the files inside the archive.Any ideas how I do this from the command line?David HaighPhone: 925-424-3931Fax: 925-423-7496Lawrence Livermore National Lab7000 East Ave, L-362Livermore, CA 94550
Is it possible to calculate the bending moments and other properties of a cut from a solid model of a mechanica calculation?
how to make the type of projection into first angle in Creo 1.0?
I am trying to setup an internal spur gear where the inner (smaller) gear is fixed and the outer (larger) gear revolves around. While I can constrain the motion of the 2 gears by fixing the appropriate DOFs, this is not compatible with the gear tool. I've tried to use the cylinder and other joint connections without success. Any suggestions?
We recently have switched from Product Point to Windchill 10 (nightmare all in itself) One user's ProE sessions keeps reverting back to the old ProductPoint server within Server Manager. I have started it without any configs, use the dm_remember_server set to no and it still remembers the old server EVERY TIME!All the users open ProE with the same Icon that I have shared off the server and nobody else is having this issue. I have exhausted my knowledge of where this damn Server could be remembered. We are using Creo/Wildfire 5.0 M080 and I will appreciate any help at all. Thanks, Erik

Hi All, I've recently started paying attention to, and using this web site. I think it's a great source to learn and guide others. I also think it's a great place for the users to influence PTC. I've been a PTC user for more that 15 years, and they need a little influence. Anyway, PTC has tons of customers, but this web site seems to have less than a thousand active users. Come on all, lets start using this as an everyday tool. If you browse the website, but don't input to it, go ahead and ask a question, or make a comment. I'd love to see more discussion, polls, tutorials, enhancement ideas, . . . You fill in the blank with what ever you have. Please say something. What do you all think? Can we make this a learning tool for all of us?
How do I find my product code
We have migrated to Creo 2.0 and are having issues with fixtures. In the past we did not classify a lot of things as fixtures, we have mostly used "gen assy". Sincefixtures are causing us problems in Creo 2.0, we are wondering if there is a real advantage to try to get them to work. Most of our parts are near net shape castings on fixtures or made using vise setups. What are the major advantages of classifying items as fixtures?
