hello everyone,i hv made many reduction systems and never consider to show inovlute profile to worm gears/ spur gears cause i didnt wanted to give extra time to make those patterns and it may also decrease mobilty of model.. now i wish to know how to do it? if anyone knows how to make a perfect involute profile for worm wheel to match worm's thread plz post here i'm also looking for bevel....Thanx and RegardsDalbeer Singh Sohal

Good morning.We are running Creo Elements/Pro 5, build m90. We recently upgraded from Pro/ENGINEER WF3, build m240.In WF3 detailing, user could select the arrow to quickly escape/exit from a command sequence. This arrow is no longer available in Creo Elements/Pro 5. I've know that a Mapkey command can include a value to be inserted into a text field, but is there a way increment the current value, so that each push of the key would increment by say 0.1 making the value increase from 1 to 1.1 to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4?Thanks

Turns out there are at least 4 SPRs on this (2058777, 2056036, 2053206and 2034046), reported in WF5 M060, M070 and M080. All reportedresolved in M110, so I'm off to download an update, likely M130, thenewest WF5 available. Doug Schaefer

Is there a way to accomplish this? There appear to be some "standard" ones that Pro thinks I need that I actually do not. The option to remove them is greyed out. Is there another way to remove?Thank you!

A lightbulb just went off for me ion the use of the PTC_WF_ROOTvariable. Do I understand you right that setting PTC_WF_ROOT will makePro/E store the stuff they bury buy default deep in the windows userprofile folders to a folder of my choosing? That would be the favoritesin WF4 & WF5 and now the creo_parametric_customization.ui file in Creo1.0+. If so, can I set it to a network path? That would solve myissues with Creo and .ui files. Oh, and setting 'load_ui_customization_run_dir yes' will force Creo 1.0to load & store the creo_parametric_customization.ui file from theworking directory. Doug Schaefer

Hi gang, Does anyone know how to convert a real number to an integer in a relation? Something like: "SEGMENT_QTY=(INPUT_RADIUS*2*PI)INT" Or do I need to create a new parameter of integer type and set them equal.? Thanks -Nate

This solution is not consistent. I still get windows that popup behind Creo.When I first bring up Creo 1.0, and pick new file, I get a prompt to log into PDMLInk. That prompt will now come to the front more than it used to. It used to always go to the back. But depending on what I have picked in Creo before picking new file, sometimes it still pops up behind Creo.David Haigh

Can Cocreate files be read into Creo Parametric and be fully parametric/intelligent models? Or do you have to pass through Creo Direct first?

This has been bugging me since I got onto Windows 7. How do you get the popup windows to come to the front. Does anyone happen to have a decent model of a wheelchair that they'd be willing to share? I don't really care what format it's in as long as it comes in cleanly into WF5. Pro/E would be fantastic, any other WF5 importable formats will work. Hi,I'm just starting to learn Creo and have a question about sketcher. When creating a new sketch, is there any way to determine how large your sketch is before finishing it? It is annoying to find your sketch is 100 times larger than you wanted.

I had an executive ask if there is a way to show 3D models on a 3DTV, and I had to say that I believe so but I really have never researched it. is there any way to open creo in pro/e 5.0..

HIA couple of questions (previously asked on Creo-Direct forum but no ansers from there.)I am using laptop so cannot access the green tick box with the middle mouse button. What is the quickest way to 'accept' without having to chase over the screen all the time to tick the box.I would like to have the 'rotate' (orbit) button accessable all the time on the toolbar so no matter what grtoup you are in you can select rotate and have a look, any shortcut keys for this ?I would like to place a jpg photo (a small plan) in plane on its own so that I can draw over the top parts that I need. In ProE 5.0 if we suppress/hide any component it gets removed from ProE graphics window but entry of it remians in model tree.Is it possible to remove component name from model tree temporarily.I tried unchecking model tree filters for "suppressed objects" but it all other suppressed components along with other suppressed objects.How can I make component invisible in model tree?
