Hey Community, Is there any possible way to integrate Windchill and Vuforia studio. My use case here is, I need to list out all the available 3D model available in Windchill into Vuforia Studio screen, based on user selection I need to show 3D model in 3D Model widget. This question has already been asked in forum but i still could not find a right answer and definetly need more insights into this topic. Please give your valuable feedback.   Regards,JA

Our customer would like to have mandatory textual feedback as a feature in Vuforia Expert Capture. For each step, it should be possible that the user cannot continue the procedure in Vuforia Vantage as long as no feedback has been entered.

I would like to see support for displaying Inventor 2024 models in Vuforia Studio.I've seen other messages with an answer that the timing of the release that will allow Inventor 2024 to be viewed is undecided.However, we often hear from our customers that data conversion is a hassle and that they want to be able to support new versions of Inventor as soon as possible.I would be happy if the response for this matter would be prioritized.

I find we have a lot of 'deleted' or 'incomplete' procedures that have amassed in my system from demoing the product and procedures. I would love a way to delete these.  We are also using VEC for quality inspections and only need to keep those records for a certain amount of time and then can delete those records as well.

Hi community members,Currently, to display a CAD model in Vuforia View, we need to perform spatial tracking, model tracking, or ThingMark (Marker) tracking. We believe it would be very useful if users could view the scene (3D model) in Vuforia View without needing to perform any tracking. This would be especially helpful for those who do not have access to a CAD system and simply want to see the model so that they can provide immediate feedback to the designer.  Thank you. 

Dear all.Currently, when we need to handle CAD data (such as STEP and JT) with layers, first we split CAD data by each layer, export them, and then import to Vuforia as separate files.However splitting each CAD files into each layers takes a lot of effort, so we'd like to have ability to handle layers on Vuforia side. To be specific, we'd like to have an ability to import CAD file with layer, and switch visibility of each individual layers.Thanks in advance.

I have noticed that invitations by e-mail are not sent if the e-mail address contains a low dash. For example, no e-mail is sent to john_doe@domain.com. However, no error message is shown in the PTC Admin Center.

It should be possible to edit the number of a step directly. This would allow you to quickly move the eleventh step of a procedure to position 3, for example. In any case, this would be much faster than using drag and drop to move the step up in the sequence step by step.

Hello,I would like to suggest the translate of Vuforia Vantage to Portuguese, with the anoucement of new prices for Expert Capture we have many opportunities in Brazil to use Vantage in Realwear devices, but with this weareable we cannot use Vantage in Portuguese, the voice recognition doesnt understand the english commands when the device is in English. We are at your disposal to help with this translate, to bring new opportunities of Expert Capture to Brazil.Thank you.

It has been several years since I have used Vuforia Studio and now I find myself in the position of needing to report, assess, and manage the users of Vuforia Studio and the experiences that have been published to the PTC hosted ES. So I am looking for suggestions of any ways to track information on the projects and people. The user list is a mess and I don't know who is actively using Studio. And the projects are as well. I am looking at the Studio Experience Manager project currently, but it is missing a little information that would be valuable, like who published the experience and when. And things like when the experience was last used or how many times it has been accessed would also be quite valuable in figuring out what to "unpublish". Surely there are some good data and means to analyze it. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. As I said it has been years since I was on the user/creator side of Vuforia and now I am holding the bag trying to figure out how it can be active

Hi everyone,i want to click through a step-by-step animation made in creo. For each step i want to display another text.I have a button attached to "play" and a button to "rewind".Each Button calls a function, where the code reads the current step and then sets the text according to the value of current step. For just going forward with the play button, everything works just fine. Only when the rewind button is pressed, the value of CurrentStep is wrong.Do you have any suggestions? An issue was resolved where using certain widgets as the binding target resulted in duplicate bindings. This issue did not cause any changes to the core functionality but did impact the performance of both Vuforia Studio and Vuforia View. Complete the following steps to resolve any issues with projects that have been affected: Open the affected project. Under VIEWS in the PROJECT panel, select each view in the project tree, waiting for each of the views to load entirely. Once you’ve selected and loaded each view, click Save. All duplicated bindings should be removed now, with only the original binding remaining.

As per the original post.    Hi Team,    Once after extracting the .zip file i got the .pvi, .pvs,.ol file. which file need to import whether .pvz file or extracting .zip files.   if i imported .pvz file i got 4 figures in sequence tab. how to call these sequence with the button in home.js.   could you please explain about this.  if you have any related project please attach here.      

Currently it is not possible to hide a part temporarily in Vuforia Editor. This functionality is need to be able to select parts hidden behind a different part. Selecting a hidden part is currently only possible in the structure browser. But when users deal with large assemblies this is tedious. I know hiding parts is possible in the product state editor. This is not what I am writing about here. The users just wants to create part markers for parts that are hidden behind a larger part.

there is requirement from customer to see all the data of vuforia insight into thingworx Mashups.is there any possibility to take this data out of platform and integrate with Thingworx platform?do we need any custom extension to get it done?

Dear community members,As we all know, Vuforia currently does not have the capability to display edges within the experience. We are using Vuforia View model tracking experiences, created from Vuforia Studio, for visual inspection purposes.Most of the time the parts to be inspect differ little bit in shape, and have some specific features such as hole, rib etc. for the sheet metal panel. If Vuforia provide us the functionality to display the real object edges in real-time and compare with the CAD edges and display the difference between aforementioned edges in view, we could inspect the parts easily. I think the ER related to display the edges within the experience is already exist in the community. what about the progress of this enhancement request? Other AR software show the real object edges within the app which make the visual inspection of the parts easier by switching the display of the edges ON/OFF. If Vuforia provides the functionality to show the edges, it will help us greatl

Dear All,Currently, Vuforia View does not support external cameras for iOS devices, such as the iPad Pro. However, iOS has provided support for external webcams since version 17, and other AR software has begun to incorporate this feature. Is the R&D team considering adding external camera support in an upcoming Vuforia View release?If there is any new information regarding external camera compatibility with Vuforia View, please share it.The ability to use a webcam alongside the iPad's built-in camera is crucial for our visual inspection tasks, especially in tight spaces where positioning the iPad is challenging. Best regards,Sandy

Dear community member, I believe Vuforia View currently utilizes the iPad Pro's wide-angle camera. Is there a plan for the R&D team to enable the use of the ultra-wide camera in future Vuforia View updates?  We aim to capture experiences using both wide and ultra-wide cameras, selecting based on precision requirements—wide for high precision parts and ultra-wide for lower precision. Best regards,Sandy

Hello Community,    In my company we have several vuforia experiences which are deployed and our customers are using them and now my question is that how do you manager/organize your expereinces? I am in a mess actually sometimes small changing requests come and then i update the experience and deploy it again with new name because sometime we make big changes and we want to have the old experience also.  Now if i narrow down my question. It is that i want to know that which experience is on which development server? DevTest Prod Should i prepare an excel sheet to record this status and always update it that which experience is on which server? Because we have a lot of expereinces and sometimes its on test server/ sometimes dev / sometimes prod... I always have to see where the experience is deployed. I already have that experience from PTC where you can see all the experiences on the specfic server which is deployed but still question is ho
