Our team really wants to be able to turn this text off when working in Assembly mode in Creo Parametric 3: I have dug through Config.Pro options for hours, and I can't seem to turn this off! Does anyone know how to remove this text display/overlay from the Assembly Window? Thank you in advance!
Good morning, everyone. I came across an issue regarding the floating license file for MATHCAD PRIME 10. After having successfully installed and used for some time, an error appeared on my log files in the server (see below):2024-09-09 06:05:07,173 root.Vendor (ptc_d) ERROR: Parsing licensing\license.dat at line 1 on token .2024-09-09 06:15:07,178 root.Vendor (ptc_d) ERROR: Parsing licensing\license.dat at line 1 on token . It looks like appearing every 10 minuts or so. By inspecting the license file at line 1, I am not able to understand the issue. In a previous thread I posted, I had some problems when I borrowed the license for testing purpose and I found out that the borrow time was automatically set-up by the license server for one week. When it was finally released we started to have these issues. Did someone encounter a similar issues? I would appreciate some support. I am not an IT specialist, but a MATHCAD user and I might have made some mistake
I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM050FDOT program within Mathcad 15.0We tried the resolution from your knowledge basedhttps://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS281384?source=search- user is using Mathcad 15.0 with updated date code M050- installed MS Office 32 bit.The issue reoccurs with the same error. Here are the errors that I facedMicrosoft VBScript runtime error Line: 15 Error:0Object required: Combo box
We noticed that after moving from CREO 4 to CREO 9 (9.0.7.0), the behavior in the drawing when inserting symbols from the symbol palette changed. In the older version (CREO 4), when inserting a symbol from the palette, the system directly asked for a variable (if the symbol contained a variable), the user either wrote the variable or confirmed the preset value defined in the symbol. For example, when inserting the roughness symbol Ra, it could be written immediately upon insertion as, for example, 0.8 (while the preset value in my symbol is 3.2). In CREO 9, a variable cannot be written when inserting a symbol. The symbol is inserted and only then can the variable be overwritten via editing "Symbol Customization" command inside Symbol ribbon. It slows down the work terribly. Is there config option so that the symbol immediately prompts for the variable as before??
I got a license for MATCAD Prime from my school (HTL Spengergasse, Vienna) but I have a big problem. I have redeemed the MATCAD license too often and on too many different devices - Today I wanted to download MATCAD Prime on my work device and redeem the license because I need the program for today's math class, but now I get an error message that goes something like this: "You have redeemed the license too often and reached the limit, if you have any further questions contact PTC Support". I then did some research and found out that you have to deactivate the license on the other devices so that you can redeem the license on the new device again, but that's the problem: I redeemed the MATCAD Prime license on my Macbook Air m2 in a virtual machine that no longer exists - so I can no longer deactivate the license. I therefore wanted to ask customer support whether they would allow me to redeem my license again, it is a very urgent matter. Translated by the moderation using Google
I mistakenly attached a photo with a wrong extension to my MathCAD file. Now, it's not opening the wrong extension is .1 instead of .jpg The version is Prime 7.0.0.0 I will appreciate a lot if you could help me recover the file even if it will be just the texts and equations!
Is it possible to break the dependency of a mirrored part? I am wanting to mirror parts with geometry dependent initially so any changes are pushed to the mirrored part, to save time, as the majority of changes will apply to both parts. However, sometimes we need to make changes to one of the parts but not it's mirror. Can this be accomplished by undoing the "geometry dependent" setting somehow? Attached are some screenshots of the options/settings I'm seeing when creating the mirror and then when editing definition of the mirrored bodies feature. I am using Creo 8. Thanks!-Matt
How do you get back the classic nc step/sequences? ThanksMike
Hello all, is it possible to set search function to search thrue all subdirectoriers? (Creo 2.0 M200) Don´t need permanent settings --> something like "now search thrue all" ,when l realy need it... We don´t use Windchill and any other PDM Thanks for any help Milan Bonka

Hi all, is there any ways to import the data from excel into the Mathcad table? Data in excel table Data in Mathcad Table Thank you for your help! *i'm using MathCad Prime 10.0.0.0
I need a description of what Creo Essentials Lite contains. Could you please help me?
This message appeared out of a sudden, I don't have any backups alternative to this file as that may cause an absolute failure for my diploma work. Please, HELP ME! I can't really endure the loss.
Hey guys, for example if i have a part with 7 bodys, can i split it to an assembly with 7 parts? That means only 1 body in every part. THX,John
PTC provided multi-body concepts from Creo Parametric 7.0 and it looks more like Catia's multi-body strategy than SW or NX, but other behaviours looks like SW/NX such as operating boolean or fillet, chamfer, e.g.Catia: 1.1. All features not only boolean operatings can only be applied on actived part-body;1.2. Part-body needs to be created before any features founded in Catia, more than 1 splitting solid can be contained in each part-body.SW & NX: 2.1. Creat boolean operatings and then choose which body we wanna apply, other features can be directely applied on the body without active(None active concept to be exact) ;2.2. Automatically creat 1 body per splitting solid that we can't choose how many splitting solids 1 body can hold.Creo: 3.1. Creat boolean operatings and then choose which body we wanna apply, other features can be directely applied on the body without active(None active concept to be exact) ;3.2. Part-body can be created before or after any features fo
Hello All,I have a large 3D scan that I am working with, and trying to build a basic skeleton structure around it. So creating a few sketches and datum features (planes & axis). Now here is the issue. If I redefine any of those features, any reference to the scan has a "frozen reference" note in front of the reference/feature name (see attached image). Been using Creo (Pro/E) for over 30 years and I have never seen anything like this. If the reference was missing, I would get it. But it's not missing. What gives? Not sure how to fix this.BTW, using Creo 10 TIA, Victor
Does anyone know why the "Match whole word only" option would be greyed out in the Creo View Find tool? I am unable to find a setting to turn that on. I am using Creo View Lite.
I want to connect this corner vertex to this sketch line. The coincident constraint won't let me connect them. They are in different sketches and on different planes if that matters.
Using CREO 6, it was easy to route a cable by selecting an axis for "from" and the ending axis as "to" after selecting "Allow Location" under "Options." However, as new user to CREO 8, I am unable to select any axes and have to use a coordinate system instead--usually not as convenient. Is there a way to use an axis for routing in CREO 8?
These sketch lines are only displayed when they are clicked on in the feature tree. How can I get them to display in the model so that they can be used as reference geometry?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0In older versions we could set the active model in a multi model drawing and then select a symbol that was all ready placed on the drawing. It would open and close using the active model information to file in custom symbol parameters. This functionality appears to have been lost.
Hi all, does anyone knows why there's 'i' in the results of the last equation?Regards,

Hello, I am currently building a VBA application to automate a few things in my creo daily workflow and unfortunately I am stuck because I am not able to retrieve a model type variable from a componente type feature variable. I am thinking about model descriptors. I can create it but I am struggling trying assign it to the model. The idea is to reach the model by reading the model descriptor present in the correspondent feature variable. thank you in advance!
Whenever I define a range variable and then try to do some matrix operations on it (like finding its length, max/min and transpose...) Mathcad responds with an error saying the operation can all be done on a vector or array. How do I convert my range variable into an array?Version: Mathcad Prime 10
