Creo 9.0.7.0. T5 licenseI'm trying to create a mapped mesh on very simple shape.  But when I try to create the mesh it fails to make bricks and reverts to tets.  I've spent a lot of time trying to do this very simple task and I am frustrated.My geometry an extruded sketch.  It has (or had) some fillets on the vertical edges but I have suppressed them. I have selected every surface combination possible (there are 3 possibilities - top+bottom, the two sides, and the ID and OD).  

In my company, we developed a plugin for Creo Parametric 9.0 using the C++ object toolkit. The plugin consists in a .dll that is compiled with Visual Studio 2022, with dependencies linked statically. The .dll works synchronously. Between developers, we tried to distribute internally the .dll after compilation. But if the .dll is used in a different machine from the one it was compiled in, Creo crashes with EXCEPTION_NONCONTINUABLE_EXCEPTION. I'm attaching the traceback. log with the name of our plugin replaced with "<OUR_PLUGIN_NAME>". My question is:is it possible to distribute a .dll between machines, if all of them have the OTK installed, within the same license server? Is it possible between different licenses?

Hi,How to find a function that fits to below data. This function is a resistance temperature dependent that will be further involved into another equation (Vout(Temp)), and then how to plot Vout(Temp) vs Temp? Temp is temperature, lets say from -60degC to 90degC. Mathcad Prime 9 fille attached.    

I am using Creo 8.0.7.0 and extracting information for creo .asm, .prt files usinf wbmff.wbmff generates the rename.csv file list basically these files get renamed over OS level not by using creo. I have gone through the Article: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS212774?source=search Is there any way to update the rename.csv listed Files using JLInk or some other tool.     Model opening properly in Creo for reported renamed files but when i extract the information using wbmff it reports files get renamed.    Is there any way to handle this scenario by some code or utility i have around 700 files reported in rename.csv.

I have searched the community and only find wrapping long equation and not symbolic answers.  This works, but I was wondering if there was some built-in way to wrap symbolic answers similar to wrapping long equations, which I don't recall ever doing.  "No" is an acceptable answer.😄 Thanks as always.

I have been using Creo for a couple years. I recently replaced my hard drive several months ago and now am trying to reinstall Creo parametric. I installed Creo 9 by following the links for the Student Version (because I am still a student, after which I would become an educator). I installed Creo 9 and ran the program and it said that the Student License doesn’t support Creo 9 however the PTC website seems to indicate that it does.

Background:Although unimportant to my question, I am trying to resurrect a Filon Method of Fourier Transforms that I used over 30 years ago in a Fortran code (see my profile😕).  I am in the first steps, which require that I develop a polynomial fit to the function to be transformed.  Another function will not work in this method.My quandaries:Attached is a Mathcad 15 code for the first steps of this process.  You will also need the subroutine called; it is attached also.  I searched the PTC Community and found this reference:https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/The-best-way-to-extract-polynomial-coefficients-and-form-an/m-p/345426#M135001It states that the coefficients of the polynomial fit are the result of the regress(x,y,order) function.  However, that cannot be correct as I show in my worksheet. Is this the difference between Mathcad 15 and Prime?  My Prime version is very old and and I not very experienced with it.If that is not the case, how do

Hello Team, I am trying to add gravity load along with other applicable forces. Without adding gravity load, simulation goes fine but when i apply gravity load, it fails. It shows below error: Can you please suggest what could be the reason for this? I am really under pressure to finish the simulation. Any help will be really appretiated.The design study terminated abnormally.The nonlinear iteration did not converge for thetime value:   3.90625e-03  o The model may have a buckling mode with a load factor    smaller than this value. You may determine the smallest    (linear) buckling load factor by running a buckling    analysis.  o The deformations may be large enough that you must    further refine the mesh. To locate potential problem    areas, it may help to run an analysis with reduced    loads and examine the deformed shape of the model.  o The model may have a static instability. 

I have six tests and I have done the calculation for one test I need to do the same calculation for the remaining five tests and I don't want to copy paste the calculation, I want to use the same sheet for all the tests with enabling all the functions and calculation to change according to the input values ( general calculation). Hi, I have converted a calculation sheet from MathCAD 15 to MathCAD Prime 8. However, the macros embedded excel file is not working. I was prompted the message "macros is disabled". I have chosen the enables macros function in excel, but it is not working. I have to save the excel file separately to update the calculation but this will not reflect in the MathCAD,    Please help.

Hi All, I have a student license and from past 2 days i get the below error in sketcher mode when i try to update the dimensions. It doesn't allow to modify any of the dimensions in sketcher mode.  "When a constraint is active, right click to cycle through lock/disable/enable the constraint. Use Tab key to toggle active constraint. Press and hold Shift to disable snapping to new constraints." Kindly support as i am unable to work.  Thank you.

CREO 7.0.6.0We are having an issue where we double click on a dimension while in sketch to edit and the dimension box is closing out before we can edit the value (see attached video). Has anyone seen this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.(view in My Videos)

Does anyone have any recommendations for default combo states? Below are PTC's:   I *think* there are some recommendations in this book as well and we are considering getting it. It's a new, 2024 version of our "Happy Easter!" Easter Egg!What's different from the previous years' eggs is that this one is in Mathcad Prime 9, which allows us to use the "More Colors..." custom colour picker, for a far wider range of designs than before. The attached worksheet predominantly uses PTC's colour palette, which requires use of the custom colour picker... but there are some extra fun (non-PTC), previously unusable colours too, like pure green (0,255,0) and pink.   Happy Easter 2024!

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew if there's a way to define a parameter for the pvsoptimize tool to remove small parts from a pvz that are below a threshold based on a measurement instead of comparing its size to the rest of the product? Currently, the parameters I can use for removing small components looks like: adapter/removeTinyComponent=1adapter/removeCompSizeFactor=0.008 but I was wondering if there was something else besides "removeCompSizeFactor" that I could enter. Or even more helpful would be just a list of every parameter that pvsoptimize would recognize in a recipe file. Thanks!

I converted a file from MathCad 15 to MathCad Prime 9. After the converting was made, MathCad Prime 9 is marking some of the variables with red Box saying that this variable is not defined (See screeshot). I noticed that the Problem is that Variable contains two level of subsripts and Mathcad Prime 9 cant see the second subscript. As a result all Variables will be seen as only one variable and not multiple diffrent variables. Can someone help me please? Thank you Greetings
