Using Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0 - Spin Center is turned off so that it will spin about the mouse location. Datum Plane shading is turned off (though it doesn't matter if it is off or on), and are not visible in my model. When I hold the middle mouse button down, many times it won't activate the spin, and if I'm in a feature, often will close me out of the feature instead of activating spin. When it does activate the spin, as I'm spinning, the spin location will jump to other geometry as the mouse cursor goes over it, instead of staying on the entity or location where I originally started the spin. This only has happened since upgrading to 8. I never had this issue with Creo 5. Not sure if this is a graphic card issue, or an issue with Creo. Running on a Lenovo P51 with an Nvidia Quadro M2200 card. Incidentally, when I have Spin Center turned on, I still can't get the spin functionality to initiate many times when I hold the middle mouse but
When in Creo after selecting "open", the "File Open" dialogue box appears. This presents me a "list" of Creo files in my workspace. Most of the columns displayed in this dialogue box mean nothing to me. Is there a way to create custom columns that read desirable parameters that would help me better find files during my "open" process? Thank you!
Good Morning, I had initially posted a reply to a thread looking just to measure the MOI, I figured it would be better to start a thread of my own. I'd like to use CREO to calculate the Area MOI of some non-uniform geometry. Prior to doing that I wanted to test the tool on a known Area MOI before applying it to the non-uniform geometry. What I did was took an I-beam, calculated the Area MOI and then pulled the same beam into CREO and tried to use the analysis tool to confirm that it shows me the Area Moment of Inertia in the Inertia Tensor. But the units for the Inertia tensor are for that of just plain MOI (lb/in^2) and not the Area Moment of Inertia (in^4) - how would I measure this using Creo for a cross section? Thanks,MW
I need to find this file inside creo , I've searched and all the PTC folder , but it doesn't find anything pmech_conn.TXT
Hello, I had this error pop up for all my views when i wanted to update all the views on my drawing. First time having this error pop-up and i don't really know what it could mean. Can someone explain what it is and (if possible) tell me how to fix it without having to redo my drawing. I have a screenshot of the error itself that i will attach to this post. I am working with creo elements/direct 20.6.1. I didn't find the location for posts about annotation so that's why i have put it here. If this isn't the right place then feel free to tell me where i need to post this. Kind Regards,SEEBO
Hi All,I am getting Fatal error encountered. Can anyone help me on this error. i want to disable this error message for parament . i don't want to show this message even error occurs. Sharing snap and Trace file.
Hello, I have an .NWF file that I have generated using a script, and it ignores all thickness/gauge/csa values that I put into it, and creo consistently lists all thicknesses for each wire as being 14.8221mm. for example, here's an excerpt of one of my new wires- NEW WIRE_SPOOL BLACKPARAMETER TYPE WIREPARAMETER COLOR BLACKPARAMETER WIRE_CSA 0.5PARAMETER THICKNESS 0.8PARAMETER WIRE_GAUGE 16etc. I have MANY wires, all with different gauges, and they all show up as spools with these dimensions: I can't edit them either, and no changes in the .nwf change anything in creo. I'd greatly appreciate help here. thanks!

I am having an ongoing issue with Mathcad. Every time I open my work files, the text blocks and images move! I usually have to start by "Separate Regions Vertically" and then manually move everything back into place. I use page breaks as well, but it doesn't work in some sections. I lose too much time to reorganizing my work. This issue also occurs when I update calculations. My first page usually has overlaps of photos and text blocks consistently after each open. The zoom is set to 100% and my display settings are also set to 100%. To recreate the issue, create text blocks with floating images between other text blocks. Save and reopen the Mathcad file. Text blocks move around since last save and floating images overlap text blocks. I am using Prime 9.0.0.0.
Looking for suggestions on how to model a sheet metal part that is a long and narrow L shaped bracket. A portion of one of the legs is formed into a shallow vee shape. The remaining portion of the leg is left out of the die and is flat. I’ve modeled the leg using a swept blend but can’t get it to unbend using deformations. Have attempted many other methods to model the part unsuccessfully. The transition area from vee to flat is noncritical. Thoughts?
Why am I not able to place end plates at the end of beams against a round wall? As you can see in the second photo it works on a flat wall. Thank you.
After experiencing a hard drive crash and installing a new disk I cannot licence the reinstalled MCAD14 program for product code xxxxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxThe licence.dat file I can refer to for workstation CPU ID that uses this file is xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx does not work. How can I license the product?
HiRecently I have been learning Creo Toolkit.I have some doubts about using ProToolkit and Creo Object Toolkit The development environment is VS2019 and Creo 9. As a beginner, I started learning the Protoolkit and later learned the Object Toolkit. I referred to the example code of PTC and found that there are exceptions when using interfaces that both exist. The Pro toolkit interface works properly, but the object toolkit interface may cause program crashes. Debug information output "Invalid parameter passed to C runtime function."For example, when selecting model items interactively, the ProSelect() function in the toolkit interface works properly, while the pfcSession:: Select() function crashes when the cancel button is clicked; When displaying messages, the Toolkit interface ProMessage Display() function can function properly, while the object Toolkit interface pfcSession:: UIDisplayMessage will crash. Similar situations occur in interface functions such as pfcSession:: U

Hi Team, I have attached a snapshot. I am using C# for my uses and vb API to communicate creo app. my requirement is to be control on pop-up message's "OK" or "Close" button, Is there any way to get control on this "OK" or "Close" button from my C# code? I mean want control to close that pop-up from my C# code using vb API. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
I am using CREO parametric version 6.0. I need to flatten conical flight in CREO is there any method to flatten flight ?

“Spatialization or 3D rendering of sound means that you get the feeling that you are pulling your speakers out of your ears… hearing the sound or music coming from around you instead. It is actually proven through various studies that that is a more natural way of listening. ” Jabra’s owner company GN is an audio and video communications technology company which was founded over 100 years ago to undertake the epic task of placing the first telephone line between China and Scandinavia. Since then they have continued to innovate in the area of communications and today they design and manufacture communications devices such as wireless earbuds, headsets, intelligent hearing aids and video conferencing solutions. Their wireless earbuds are full of cutting edge technology such as advanced noise cancellation, wind cancellation and of course essential for the runners, sweat resistance. They even manufacture some of the toughest, most durable headphones on the market. On
“The rescue services need to know that the vehicle is safe to approach… with this app, we have a 3D view of each truck and this augmented reality view.” With many governments making commitments toward zero-emission targets, more and more of the trucks on our roads are becoming electric. Whilst good news for the environment, it can present challenges for emergency responders, who may not be familiar with how these types of trucks are built. In the event of an accident, emergency services need to be able to access vehicles safely, and potentially, rescue people trapped inside. This means knowing things like where the battery is, where high-voltage cables are or which parts of the truck can be safely cut through. Volvo Trucks is the market leader in the manufacture of electric trucks in Europe, and as has been the case for decades, they’re improving safety through clever innovation. They’ve developed an app for use at the scene of an emergency which guides those on the sce

I modelled flight screw in CREO version 6.0 . for manufacturing purpose I need to flatten the flight. top surface of the screw is essential for manufacturing purpose, so I am using flatten quilt to get the flatten the surface and the surface as been flattened. I am using flatten quilt deformation I am able to project the divided segments from the helical screw to flatten quilt , but i did not get exact dimensions from the flatten and helical it varies around 10 to 15mm is there any possible way to get the exact dimension. 1.helical form 2.flatten form
Dear All, I was trying to plot vk(t) vs ik(t). I am supposed to get only single plot for vk(t) vs ik(t).I am getting multiple overlapped plot while plotting for vk(t) vs ik(t).The mathcad code is attached below. My interest is, I need to only one plot for vk(t) vs ik(t).Could anyone rectify this problem. (I am using Mathcad 15 software)Thanks in advance
