Hi,i want to try using the parameter "graphics Win32_GDI" to find a debug solution.When I start the Module Works on screen I don't see anything (Stock,Target,Fixture,Tools,ecc), but if there are any collisions they seem to get detected.Has anyone ever tried? I don't want to miss gauge or collision. Thanks

Hello,is it possible to create a part defined by "weak dimensions", what become "strong dimensions" after assembling the part to assembly? For example I have triangular metal sheet with prepared drawing. In assembly there are three points defined for constraints. Then I assemble the metal sheet - triangle vertices of part to points of assembly. After this action is done, triangular sheet and its drawing is adjusted.  I need to make a library of simple parts, which all have same constraining points, but there is big number of variations. So user simply choose which variation wants to use, put it into assembly and part and rawing is adjusted. I can make a part driven by relations, but that is not what I need.Sorry for my english 😉 Thanks for any replies   

I've been trying to renew my subscription/license for Mathcad Prime.  The support website seems to require that I communicate with a 'Renewal Advisor' or open a support case for renewal.  But none of that has gotten a response. I believe my license expires tomorrow and may be nonrenewable if I haven't.  What should I do?

I am using Creo 8I am trying to determine the point where two objects contact each other. You can measure the value with pairs clearance, and it provides a point of contact, but you cannot do anything with that point. I would like to be able to take the point that it determines, and create a plane to measure the diameter where the objects are touching

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.3.0I've created a symbol with parameters recalled inside and correctly saved and stored. But when I import the symbol in a 2D dwgs, parameters can't update but they remains with the construction &ptc_wm_version, &ptc_wm_revision etc.If I use the same parameters outside the symbol (e.g. dwg frame or normal notes) they actually work and assume the value assigned to the parameters.Here are the errors that I facedN/A

How do i get a license.conf file? All i can manage to get is lm text files.   

Design parts on CREO and submit it on Windchill is my day to day work, but in the last 2 weeks I been having some difficulties to show attributes at Windchill, let me explain step by step what I do:1) check out the part to modify2) Make some physical changes to the model as required 3) At Tools tab, I select the relations option4) On that window I write down all the parameters that I try to save5) In the parameters window I check on designate every attribute that I want to show in Windchill6) Save and check in after that process CREO let me do the check in, but with one warning saying:"The incoming attributes... are rejected because they do not fall within the definition of type"Do anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Creo 7.09; I am not able to provide the model for inspection.   Can anyone offer any insight into how to get this round to regenerate? The solid surfaces involved are all planar or cylindrical. I am hoping someone can suggest what to look for when this is happening.   The model has no geometry checks and has absolute accuracy set. Rolling ball and spinal options fail, variable round fails. Surface round will regenerate but cannot be solidified and has transitions that are not consistent with the solid geometry needed. The surface round produces the same error when attempting to solidify the quilt.   You can see below in the image that it is curling back on itself and not following the edge selected for round to be applied to.    

Hello, In a VB program, I use the method "ListDependencies()" on an IpfcModel  (an assembly in my case) to get all the components. That works fine but that also provide all other dependencies like external references for example. Is there a way to know which kind of dependency is, and sort only components of my assembly and not other dependencies? Thank you for your helpRegardsThierry.      

Hello everyone,years ago using Creo2, i was able to use JLINK, now that I switched to Creo 9.0.2.0 I don't even know how to install it.From the installation setup of Creo 9.0.2.0 I can't even find it.I tried to install all the setup "Toolkit API" options, but in the Creo 9.0.2.0 installation folder I can't find any "jlink" directory.Can anyone help me, I'm a beginner.Thank you.

Dear community,my question is if from Creo (we're currently on Creo 7) is possible to create a shrinkwrap that starts shrikwrapping parts from, for example, the level 3 of the tree?The purpose is to then deliver a light model in a 3D navigator where you start from a very lightweight model and then if there's the need to navigate deeper the asm of the shrinkwrap will be downloaded on demand.We're ok with the navigator but we're still having issued getting a shrinkwrap like this.Our models are very big and we can't make shrinkwraps of sub parts manually. ThanksBR

Hello All,I have 2 variables; one is pipe material and second one is temperature at 50/100°F increment.By selecting Material data from drop down list and temperature. It will throw allowable stress value. Is it possible to add interpolation formula if temperature value is other than what is available in the combo box.For example, for P11 material at 825°F, allowable stress value is 14200psi by using interpolation method.    

Hey all,  I am a structural engineer, specifically in the facade industry working with the exterior of buildings such as hospitals, labs, schools, high rise commercial and residential buildings. Our team has been using Mathcad 15 for 10+ years and sadly now moving over to Prime 8.0 and are at roadblock when it comes to integrating our mathcad calculations within Word in an efficient manner.  Our process with 15 involved creating a macro in Word so that you can paste special a bitmap and so our mathcad pages are formatted to fit exactly in our report template in word to fit the margins perfectly without distorting or blurring the text (if you try pasting something larger than the margins, scaling can begin to affect the visual/readability of the calcs).  Unfortunately, in Prime 8.0 this same copy paste function doesn't produce a paste as bitmap option but only paste as Formatted Text (RTF). For a very long time, we used to be able to explode a custom symbol into its parts within a drawing.  Can we still do this in Creo 7 and later?

I am using Creo Parametric Release N/A and DatecodeN/AI would appreciate if you could please clarify the following for me about DHandles (pro_model_item in particular). Does the pointer to a DHandle  remain in memory, while the model it refers to remains in memory? For example when I use the ProSolidBodiesCollect function i.e, ProSolidBody* bodies{ nullptr };ProSolidBodiesCollect(proMdl) &bodies)t* o_body_num; ProArraySizeGet(bodies, o_body_num); will the memory addresses for the bodies I get as output remain valid during a session? What I see is that I can actually copy the addresses and use them elsewhere in my code. Is this accidental? When I call the same function again I get different addresses for the bodies though, so if the addresses remain valid do I keep opening new DHandles by calling the function multiple times? Should I be closing them and if so, which function should I use to do so? Thanks a lot

I have two revolve features one currently on and the other off. The first angle dimension below has the round dimension grayed out so I cannot change the precision. The second angle dimension (on a currently hidden feture) does not. How can I change the first one so it can be edited. This is a part with a family table so I'd prefer not to delete it and re-add it if possible.         Thanks, Dale

I had matrices with mixed unit and NaNs in calculation and kept getting units errors. It was a surprise to me that NaN would grab the unit from the first matrix element. After realizing that I found a similar thread about same happening with 0 values. In that case it was solved with zero. Interestingly that doesn't show in the list of units and I couldn't find it in the help either. Anyway, for my purposes to solutions seems possible: either moving the unit row to bottom or to utilize zero with the NaN:There's no question here, but I do find the behaviour more than a little odd...

Hello,     Mathematica result:   Maple result:   Mathcad 11 result:   Mathcad 15 result:   Mathcad Prime 8 result:   Why does Mathcad Prime give such a result when calculating the determinant of that matrix? Is this some bug from prime? or? Mathcad Prime 8 file attached.

When I export a formula-based lattice (e.g. - diamond TPMS) as an STL, there seems to be a gap between the lattice structure and the shell.  Have you seen this with other users? Thanks,Thomas
