We are trying to integration codebeamer with windchill using DPT, so we are trying to add external linked items in codebeamer , but we r not able to see the server option as below. Can anyone help us to get this option in codebeamer end or provide the steps how to add external linked items, we r getting this below mentioned error.

Codebeamer 2.2Problem:Although in the tracker configuration (Tab. State transitions) a certain role (e.g. Stakeholder) has permission for a state transition (e.g. State "New" -> State "Draft"), it can only perform this transition if this role also has permission (Tab permissions) "Item - Edit". However, this permission allows it to change ALL item fields, not just the state. Can a role only change the state (e.g., after a check) but not the remaining fields?

Dear Community,I am looking for a way to use the export functionality in codebeamer to export a tracker item as a word document in a version other than the Head Version. An older version of the same item.I saw in the documentation that there is a restriction that Only the head revisions of project artifacts and work or configuration items are exported, including comments, attachments, permissions, and associations, but without history. Is there a way to bypass this from front end or back end using inbuilt classes in codebeamer?Codebeamer Version: 2.0.0.1

In Codebeamer Web UI , I am not able to find + icon for project creation In Project Explorer, Does i need to have any specific role for this.  Advance thanks for your help.

Normally codebeamer should logout inactive user automatically, so no floating licenses where blocked. This isn´t working at our instance anymore. Some users are blocking licenses without any activity over more than a day, see screenshot.Does someone else has this issue? What could be the problem here? Auto logout see: https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r2.1/en/index.html#page/codebeamer/admin_guide/9066.html#wwID0EM446Codebeamer Version 22.10-SP8

Hi, I have observed that as of now there is no reset feature available on the tracker created from template but it is good to have that.Example-We have created a tracker using a existing template and made some configuration changes on the inherited tracker, but they we want to reset those changes to match the configuration with the template, it is not possible with a single click at the moment. It will be good have a button to reset the trackers created from a template.

I am looking for a way to see how many times an item has been re-used (copied over to other projects, duplicated and reused in other trackers, etc.) in a Codebeamer system.  I have managed to generate a report that returns items with the "Copy Of" Association tag, and then I do a "Group By - Summary". This lets me know a count of objects that have been copied and have the same summary, but it also returns the original copy, so the count is off by one. I was also hoping to get this count information in it's own individual column as a field on the items themselves, but I am not sure how I would go about achieving this as the act of copying doesn't seem to be an easy event to "hook" into so to speak, like a workflow action, so that we can increment a field every time an item is reused. If anyone has any ideas or has achieved something similar I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks

I am trying to create custom filed for codebeamer tracker while creating a custom tracker, but unable to do that. What ever filed creating all are add in tracker items only, not in tracker page.

Hi, I try to export a full test case tracker with folders, item with test step and subfolder to word format. First it's seems that we can't use « if_not_folder » and "Test step" loop in the same export In the word template, the style indent is static (for one level) so it's not working with folders and subfolders. saving a template without modification with office 365 generate a warining message post export in word see attached file (in french, but with explainations, tracker configuration and word template).   Codebeamer used: V22.04 BG, Amaury

Hi!I have a problem related to escalation module in CB.I have created the rules for escalation in one of my trackers but haven't added specific rules for preventing triggering of some cases. Therefore I have accidentally created escalation for items that are OK from the process perspective. I need to erase this escalations for those items - how to do that?

Hello, does Codebeamer track attempts to log in with wrong user password?I found only successful logins in System Admin -> Audit .Domain users can be track in Active Directory but what about local users?thank you

I am trying to add testcases created in xml file and importing them in codebeamer from a github repo but unable to proceed due to a following error- ##[error]Unhandled: Configuration error, please check instance is available and test configuration is correct what is the actual cause of the error I am not able to figure out?

If a test failure occurs while running Test Run in the browser, you can report a new bug using the Report Bug button, and this bug is automatically entered into the 'Reported bug(s)' field of the Test Run Item. However, these functions cannot be used while using Run in Excel. Therefore, if the user used the Run in Excel, they must create a new Bug Item and manually enter the Item into the 'Reported bug(s)' field in the Test Run.If the number of Test Runs that need to be performed is huge, this will inevitably become a very cumbersome task.Additionally, the Excel Import function is unavailable in Test Run Tracker, so there is no way to process this all at once.If the 'Reported bug(s)' field value can be entered in the Excel template used in Run In Excel, the user can batch pre-registered Bug Items into the 'Reported bug(s)' field when importing the Run In Excel file. (Like the function of entering the Reference Field during Excel import of another tracker)
