Do We have to buy illustrator as an application addon or separate install or how does it work? Is there any way we can get a demo to try out before buy? We do a lot of installation drawings for military, and we are challenged with 2d drawings of interior assembly systems instructions. Want to see if Creo I is a good candidate and  helpful.

Hello,Right now we have a customer who is giving an NX file project, so we imported the model into creo and it was opened as an assembly and then I used IDD to clean it up. Now I need to extract one specific part as a (.prt file) since we will put it in CREO tool deisgn extension (which requires .prt file). I have tried (1) Copy/publish geometry however the part does not appear when I open it. I have tried (Shrinkwrap). however this option leaves holes in the surfaces. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I am unable to change the width of a fiber shape. No matter what value of "width" I put in for shape properties of that fiber, the width remains the same on the diagram. Any help would be appreciated!Example: One of the fibers here has a width of "10" and the other had a width of "1" but it does not change the appearance

Hello ,I'm working on a workflow notification system using Windchill OData REST API, and I'm facing an issue with user-based filtering.**Current Situation:**- When I call `/Windchill/servlet/odata/v5/Workflow/WorkItems` endpoint with Basic Authentication- The API only returns WorkItems assigned to the authenticated user- If I authenticate as "PLM-1" user, I only see PLM-1's tasks- If I authenticate as "oozcelik" user, I only see oozcelik's tasks**What I Need:**I need to retrieve ALL WorkItems across ALL users to build a notification system that monitors new task assignments and sends notifications to the assigned users.**What I've Tried:**1. Ordinate Dimension Orientation: I want to flip my Dimension text around 180 Degrees.  My Parts 0 is at the left of my drawing and is the bottom of my part. And what is at the right would be the top.  So I want the bottom of my text facing the other way.    Any Ideas. I don't have room to flip my text horizontal.

I added a task out change task that is shall we say a good idea but not critical to the overall execution of the release. I notice that the these tasks are still running long after the change notice workflows are complete. I can manually go in and close them out since at this point, their need is no longer required. What is the best way to automate this?   I was thinking of adding a sync task that would spin up in parallel and when the change notice hits released state, close out this task. If the task closes first, it would close out the sync task and there by complete the workflow. Is this the only way to do this?

With Microsoft ending Support for the HoloLens 2, are there plans to Support Vuforia Studio Experiences on other devices like Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest 3?  

Hi, I have used Kepware with Siemens WinCC SCADA in the past to communicate with Rockwell Control Logix PLC's but did not create any static tags within Kepware.  I created a tag database within WinCC and the WinCC SCADA tag addresses contain the path to the OPC topic and the controller tag within the PLC.  I am now looking at an existing FTView SE application that is using Kepware to communicate with Mitsubishi PLC's but has created static tags within the Kepware configuration so the FTView application uses the Kepware static tags directly without having to create HMI tags in the FTView application.Are there any performance advantages by creating static tags in Kepware and using them directly within the FTView  application as opposed to creating the tags within the FTView system ?  How does the Kepware comms driver handle comms in these two situation ?

Hi Guys,  I'm working on the rollout of MBD and boost in my company and facing a few problems that I can't find solutions for.   I'm exporting Sheetmetal parts to CreoViewer (.pvz file) with a combination state set as the flat pattern, but the export combination state does not reflect the Creo displayed model.  CREOVIEWER FLAT DISPLAY STATE:Creo Parametric Flat Display State:  If Someone could point me in the correct direction to get these creo PVZ file to export with the same info as creo parametric that would be ideal.  I've alot people who have abandoned all hope over this small problem.

I have a fairly simple parting faces quilt that I need to finish out but I can't get the boundary seam of the opposing cylinders to become tangent.  After completing the parting faces quilt I need to use the thicken option to uniformly thicken these faces to build a gutter model; as is I can only thicken the quilt to about .125 where it will need to be .500 in thickness.Shown below is the area I am struggling with.  The highlighted edges show the area that I am working on.  I have penciled the non-tangent seams in red.I have attempted different options from Boundary Blend to the Style function.  I have attempted this with and without curve rails in the red highlighted areas.   I know that there naturally is an area of twist due to the conflicting up facing and down facing cylinder extrudes.  Might there be some kind of option that would iron out the natural seams to allow tangency throughout?  (I also tried this as a simple 4 sided boundary

It seems that with 2.0.0.5 version the posting of items no longer works with the REST API?We know that the future is with Swagger but it was never announced that REST calls would be disabled. Hi, In a child mashup I have a grid with rows. I exposed a grid parameter (selectedRows) and bound it to the mashup parameter which is also of infotable. But when I try to use this parameter in the parent mashup, I don’t get any data.   Instead, I see developers usually create expressions then bound that mashup parameter of infotables singe value like field in it... to extract single values (like Id, State) and pass those to the parent.  Is this the expected behavior? Why can’t the parent directly consume the InfoTable parameter? Is there a clean way to expose the whole SelectedRows to the parent, or is best practice to always send only the needed values? Thanks!   my expression which i bind from my mashup parameter(infotable type and use that single field to bind with input parameter of this expression ) to get the value and then bind the output again to the mashup parameter which is of string type to get that value in parent mashup....    

Hi Community,   I’m trying to get the part name when clicking on a component in the ThingView widget (PVZ model).   What happens   SelectedOccurrencePath updates (e.g., /0/3/4), so the click is detected. SelectedParts stays empty → no part name or ID is returned.   Question   How can I resolve the occurrence path (e.g., /0/3/4) to the actual part name like 30702722.PRT? Do I need special PVZ publish settings or a widget option so that SelectedParts is populated with part metadata? Expected output when clicking a part: Name: 30702722.PRT Path: /0/3/4   Has anyone implemented this or any idea how to get it?   Thank you

While using the Creo plugin within Hexagon’s PC-DMIS to load an MBD model, I’m seeing some additional dimensions in PC-DMIS that were not actually created in Creo MBD Model.I’ve checked the annotations and combination states—everything looks clean in Creo. Is this a known issue with the plugin or PMI interpretation?Any suggestions to control or filter what PC-DMIS reads from the Creo model would be helpful.

Article cs366586 refers to creating 2 mapping xml files. When I run the windchill wt.org.util.ReconnectPrincipalsUtility command below, it errors with mapping file not found. I assume that both the dnMapping and adapterMapping files need to be placed in a $WT_HOME directory before running the windchill comand.
