I am using Creo Parametric - Release 5.0 (connected) Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.6.0API ProDimensionCreate is not supported(unable to create dimension) for attachment of type PRO_SILH_EDGE in toolkit API, Also How to select PRO_SILH_EDGE in creo Ui using ProSelect API?? As there is no string available to select PRO_SILH_EDGE.

I have a mathcad 14 file made by someone else and I am having difficulty to get it to calculate properly I select 'Calculate now', 'Calculate Spreadsheet' and 'Automatic Calculation' and none of them actually seem to calculate. For a colleague it seems to work and we were unable to find the reason. for example, my colleague gets a plot here perfectly and I get this:  what could be causing this? the file is attached

Hi,  How do I install the XMCD/MCD converter on PTC Mathcad Prime 10? Is the only way to uninstall and reinstall Mathcad and select the extension? This is on a work computer so is there any other way to install it without doing that? Thanks

We have created combined views in our Creo start parts which are used for MBD purpose. Now we have a requirement to update the previous Creo Models with the Combined views created recently. That is why I would like to know if these combined views can be imported from the models which have the combined views.The other option that we could think of to achieve this is to create a Mapkey. Our current Creo Parametric version is 10.0.6.0. Any suggestions would definitely help.

The MathCAD code generated by Chatgpt is pasting as text instead of Math input, and due to this issue it need to be manually typed in MathCAD. Is there any solution exist for this issue.

We are trying to evaluate the effectiveness of CodeBeamer by measuring the difference in requirement traceability confirmation time before and after its implementation.Since it is very difficult to manually measure the time it takes to confirm traceability after CodeBeamer has been introduced, we would like to measure it using user operation logs.Does CodeBeamer have such a feature?If not, could you suggest an alternative method?

After test installing the latest Creo 9 Platform Services Update Patch and the new PTC Universal Browser Utility as documented here (Creo and WWGM CEF Patch Table | PTC), I notice a new PTC executable running with Creo Parametric when signed in to Windchill, located in the Creo Platform Services load path.  I cannot find any mention of "ptc_uiservice.exe" in the PTC Knowledge Base or the PTC Community.   I have opened a PTC Support Case to add it to CS245546 and CS110511 with further details. Does anyone have any information on this new executable? 

Once upon a time, when a whiteboard was bitten by a radioactive spider and mutated into Mathcad, I wrote several sequence generation functions.   One of these functions was integers(a,b), which, given integers a and b, generated a list of consecutive integers between a and b, inclusive.   Whilst updating my library of such functions to Mathcad Prime 11, I was emboldened by the idea of handling real a and b.  Now, I could have gone the restrictive route and treated non-integer arguments as errors, but I decided to go with the flow and see if I could give some meaning to real inputs.   All went swimmingly in my imagination - just restrict the output of the function to those integers lying between a and b.  Until I thought about it for a few moments and realised that wouldn't work for certain cases - see the bottom of the screenshot below.     Any ideas for how integers should handle such cases to give "meaningful" results?  Or am I

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing fine!I recently calculated soil friction resistance force along subsea pipeline using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0.However, when I was inserting chart components to visualize the force along subsea pipeline, I got the message "This value must be real." in the chart component.Can someone please help? I've been trying to use the creoson libraries to pass parameters to a model and generate a drawing from javascript ... but the dimensions in model could not be displayed in the generated drawing.. when i try to do the following,dimObj = new creo.DimensionObj(); dimObj.name = "d0"; dimObj.showFlag = true; respdata = await dimObj.list({file:"mydrawing.drw", name:"*"});it returns a blank array when i trydimObj.show({file:"mydrawing.drw", name:"d0", show: true});to show an existing dimension from the model from which i generated the drawing, it reports, the dimension does not exist.. and ofcourse the dimensions are visible in creo when i manually use the "show annotations" toolbar button.. sadly, theres no show annotations interface function in creoson dimension module... any suggestions / help is appreciated

I am looking into the new IoT Streams functionality for ThingWorx 10.0 https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r10.0/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Composer/DataStorage/IoTStreams.html%23   As it seems like the streams are configurable for Kafka or Azure Event Hub.   We are using Redis as a caching option for several other use cases. Can the IoT Streams be integrated with Redis directly as well?   Alternatively we will need to implement the Redis JDBC driver and create a subscription that will push new data.

What are the practical differences between Always, Read Only, & Only Design Study?I have a weld fixture on a positioner that handles three parts and I'm trying to figure the cg from rotation for the fixture itself, then one for each of the parts. I'm also trying to do this without using a family table so I can have the dimensions all in one view.

We have a new batch of CNC programmers for our sheet metal parts. They asked me if I could export the DXF of the flat pattern without the drawing border. I guess the experienced programmers have always removed the 4 lines of the border. Is it possible to export a DXF of a drawing without the border? Hi Community,   I want to design a mashup where Products are shown as columns and Machines as rows. Inside the cells, admins can add or remove “Errors.”   Example mockup:   Both Products and Machines are dynamic (number of columns and rows can change). Question: What’s the best way in ThingWorx to implement such a dynamic mashup layout?Which widget should i use for this approach?     Additional info: My datashape contains infotable type productStations (machine) field in which we can add more then one machine to one prod and in this infotable we have then another infotable error to save more then one error in it.   Datashape results 1) 2) 3)     Thanks for any design suggestions!  

Hi Community,   I have an InfoTable with several fields, and I would like to use one of those fields as the source for a Dropdown widget. The issue is that this field can contain duplicate values, but in the dropdown I only want to show distinct values. Right now, the only way I see is to create a separate service that takes the InfoTable and returns only the distinct entries.    My question: Is there any way to achieve this directly in the mashup (e.g., via Data Filter, Query, or some built-in option) without having to write an additional service?   Thanks in advance for your ideas!

Hello Community, we are currently facing an issue on our Server (Experience Service 10.0.4) where users cannot log in. Issue Description When trying to log in to the Experience Service, the login prompt keeps appearing again and again. Even after entering the correct credentials, access is not granted. In Vuforia Studio, the same loop happens when configuring the Experience Service. Environment Details Experience Service Version: 10.0.4 Node.js Version: 20.13.1 NPM Version: 10.5.2 Database Handler: Postgres Server runs in secure mode  Seen in logs: multiple 401 Unauthorized responses when trying /ExperienceService/admin/logs. Troubleshooting Done So Far Cleared browser cache & cookies. Tested in Chrome Incognito (same result, repeated credential prompt). Confirmed server is running and responding to /ExperienceService/ping with HTTP 200. Logs show only one user loaded (load users handler resolved. 1). Warning in logs: certificate errors are igno
