Hi, I have an assembly in which I am using fill pattern to create an array of parts. The spacing and the sketch of the fill patterns are parametric, i.e., I defined variables for them so that I can test various combinations of space and fill area to prototype faster. I have other components which I want to center with respect to the pattern. There are 2 ways that I have tried:1. Align the components with the planes of the global coordinate system. This does not align the components with the fill pattern because the fill pattern instance is not symmetric, which means the resulting fill pattern is also not symmetric with respect to the X and Y planes of the global coordinate system. Is there a way to center the fill pattern with respect to the global X and Y planes? Note that offsetting the fill pattern instance to create a symmetry there would not work since the dimensions of the fill pattern instance are also defined variably and would often change. 2. Align the components wi
Hello, I'm trying to perform an air flow simulation on a part that I imported. I used the import doctor to try to fix the geometry and create a solid. But running the simulation, I think it isn't actually doing anything. It appears as a solid body that's why I thought it would work but apparently no.
hello,I'm trying to create a mapkey that would create about 10 parameters for old prt files. However, if one parameter even exist, mapkey stop.Anyway to continue for others parameters? Thanks
While Creo is installing it sometimes reboots the computer mid way through the install. This is very undesirable behavior. Any ideas to get it to stop doing that?
I want to give skip weld in Creo. If it's solid, then pattern approach will be there. But when it comes to shell perimeter weld. What will be the best and easiest way? My approach is: Creating surface regions and for the small surface edges I will create Perimeter weld, Where this process is tedious to do. Could someone help me with the easiest way.

Hello everyone,I would like to pilot a repetition with family table, the fact is they dont keep the name in memory( first image). This is a big repetition so i dont want add 1 by 1 every subassembly. My idea is to pilot the component by is ID in the relations and find the correct lenght in is family table So my question is there anything like a function to schearch the ID of the component. I hope you understand what i'm saying. I'm new in CREO/PTC and even more in relations and program. I probably dont have the vocabulary.Thank you for reading
Dear Sir, I have successfully installed CREO Parametric and whenever I try to open it (In admin credential working except zoom in/out, But same system log in via user unable to open ), the loading icon appears next to the cursor and disappears after 3-4 seconds but CREO parametric does not open and I don't even get any error messages. So, I don't even know what's wrong. I hope can u help me with this at the earliest. If I reinstall the software, same License will be applicable or not. kindly inform me and do the needful.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.3.0Hello,I am writing a Jlink Async creo program to read the Material information such as material name, mass, volumne, desnsity for CAD Part that are in Windchill. The program I have written works for a single model but fails for more than one. Code is adding CAD Part to my workspace and reading the values but the moment I add another model it fails with toolkit not found exception. The next cad part exists and is added to my workspace but not able to load it in the current session.com.ptc.pfc.Implementation.pfcExceptions$XToolkitNotFoundat com.ptc.pfc.Implementation.pfcSession$Session.RetrieveModelWithOpts(Native Method)at ext.slb.lca.CADMaterialExtractor.main(CADMaterialExtractor.java:110)Connection is runningLine 110: Model em = session.RetrieveModelWithOpts(modDesc, pfcSession.RetrieveModelOptions_Create());Here are the errors that I facedcom.ptc.pfc.Implementation.pfcExceptions$XToolkitNotFoundat com.ptc.pfc.Implementation.pf
Hello everyone,I have a question about how relationships work,I can't find a counter / value increment function. The ideal in my case would have been a FOR or WHILE function unfortunately there is no WHILE or FOR function in CREO relatio,ns.My question is, is there a function that could be an alternative?I have about 50 units and doing a 1 by 1 program doesn't suit me.Thank you for reading.find attached my relation I want to change
Hello, simple Question: We have to use Creo with a lot of old Direct Modeling Parts, which a saved in Windchill. Every time when loading such parts, there comes this warning message:(Explanation: Creo tries to bring direct modling attributes to the creo part, which doesnt work - no problem at first sight because I do not need these attributes on the direct modling parts, so would like to skip it without inormation) Simple question - is there a way to surpress this warnings?
Hi People, I am working on the creation of dimensions for the Views in the drawing. For that we tried to collect the edges of the solid. Will these edges help me create a dimensions for the view? Is my approach correct? If it is correct, how to filter the edges which are visible on the drawing screen? Please suggest the correct and quick approach to achieve drawing dimensioning through code (toolKit C++)... Thanks & Regards Abdul Aziz
Hi all, I need a sample code for "retrieve an Annotation feature type notes" by iteration, one by one to all notes in VB Api.
Hello Guys, I need a sample code for check the symbol is in drawing or not by the symbol name, and if the symbol name is exist, i want to pass variable text values to the symbols.
Hello, what does those accuracies means and what is the difference inbetween of them. The only information about them was found in presentation SAXSIM 2017 in Creo roadmapThanks for youra answers in advance.
Hi, In my drawing frame there I want to have some lines which I do not want to see on my PDF print (visible only on screen). how do I configure that - in creo? or in Pen table file? Thanks in advance for help.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0When the digital model is saved to TC, it stays in the model check state, the saving progress bar keeps scrolling, and the saving cannot be completed. ----------------------------------------------- Translated the text from Simplified Chinese to English using google translate by community moderation. Hello, In inventor there is a single button to break a part up that has had separate extrudes created in it and put those new parts into an assembly and create the assembly. If this is not possible. Is there a way to section Part_A in Assembly_01 and be able to "Project" the geometry of that section into a Sketch in Part_B which is also in the Assembly_01.There seems to be no way to do this simply that I can see and in Inventor its again a single button. Click and the section is now a sketch in the new Part_B.These sound like 2 different problems but they are exactly the same thing. I can project geometry into a Sketch while in a part but there seems to be no way to get that information (and stay referenced) into a new part. So changes made to Part_A automatically update Part_B Any help with this would be great.
Hello Everyone, I'm working on Creo 7.0.10.0 version with WC12.0.2.0. After I launch Creo I'm getting a dialog box with below message instead of WC sign-in page. Did anyone face this issue? ThanksKB
I am using Creo Elements Direct ModelingIs there any Tool Available for Converting Creo Elements Direct Modeling and Drawing to Creo Parametric Assembly and Drawing.Source Formats: .PKG, .MI, .BDL required destination formats: ASM, PRT and .DRW
HI When the user isolate some component in the model tree, then when user select all components and Clikc unhide means, only the main level component is Became active, Still, the Nested components are in Hidden state Please fix this bug (view in My Videos)
I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.3.0Is there a toolkit function equivalent to the "Convert All XCH to Pat" command? If not, is there a way to convert a XCH hatch to PAT format with toolkit api? Please provide example code if possible. Thanks!
Using the api how do I get to the model parameters instead of the drawing parameters? I'm able to get to the drawing parameters but not the parameters from the drawing active model. Any advice?
Creo Parametric 9.0.4.0, OTK C++ I'm trying to assemble a component in a given assembly using csys's as references (see attached code). What is wrong? Thx in advance
