I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode 6.0.2.0How to export multi-layer bom with Creo Translated with Google Translate by Emily on Jun. 14th, 2022---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original subject: bomI am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode 6.0.2.0用 creo 如何导出多层 bom
Do you work in the engineering department responsible for product design? We know that designers and engineers must address issues around cost, compliance, and product redesigns. In many cases, this requires pulling data from different systems. We have created a solution vision that we want your feedback on. Through this approach, we would collect data automatically and deliver it via Windchill (PLM) to help you make data-driven design decisions and speed up the process of collecting and analyzing this data. The call will be hosted remotely using MS Teams or Zoom, and last approximately 45 - 60 minutes. You will be rewarded with a $50 honorarium in the form of an e-gift card. Interested? I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.1.0how can create a serial no in bom material if I delete the index No. please support me immediately.
I have an assembly of medium size. I use the "repeat" command to assemble hardware. During the "repeat" operation, when I add each individual piece of hardware, it pops up a "regen" dialogue box which takes about 5-10 seconds to complete. Is there any way to suspend regeneration until I've completed the repeat command, then just regen once, instead of after each individual fastener? I don't see the need for multiple regenerations during a single "repeat" operation.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.2.0In the documentation I read: 'The text height of a flat-to-screen annotation placed in the graphics window is defined in standard screen units and the default text height is set to 3.5 mm.'How to change this default? Is this accessible via Toolkit?
Hi All, I have a requirement where we are pushing the part or assembly files to cloud and making a note of the transaction. Before pushing the part or assembly to cloud, I want to be able to check if it has already been pushed before. I need a way to uniquely identify a part or assembly, and using the file name is not an option since two different designs can have the same file name.Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,Apoorva
@SweetPeasHub Why does setting the User-defined Output Steps help the solver from converge instead of setting Plotting Grid or Polynomial Order?
I am using Creo Simulate Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.4.0A contact interface with infinite friction on a pin allows material compenetration and gives skewed deformation results. I tried switching from component-component to surface-surface but reached the same results. The issue happens on a particular pin in a specific location, so I tried to delete and re-create the interface but no changes. The geometry is correctly highlighted in yellow on "review geometry" and the mesh completes without problems. Any Ideas on why it is happening?
When placing a 1"-20 TPI hole in a model set to metric units the hole note is using metric values. I want to display inch values in the note. Does anyone have idea how to set this to display the inch values? Creo 7.07. I have also included the custom hole table used to create the feature for reference. This is a hole created using the same feature and hole table in another model that is also in metric units and it displays inches.
Hello, I met a problem with Creo 7.0 I copy an old part&Draw too made some changement on it. I don't wan't to see my sketch on the 2D, so I hide it in my 3D model .... and my dimensions disappear in the drawing.I created a new drawing with the same 3D model ... and at this time, the dimensions are shown. I copy the drawing parameter from the new draw to the old draw, I changed the size of the drawing to call a new "font". But I still can't see my dimension And (of course) I don't really want to make a new draw. Do you have any idea where the problem can be ?
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) Release 4.0 and DatecodeF000How to get updates for the existing CREO 4.0, I require DatecodeM080 or later version.
Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to make a double-line Sheetmetal Bend Note in Creo 8.0 through config.pro. Through these discussions I found you can add the bend radius to a bend note by adding "&inner_radius" to "smt_bend_notes_order" in the config.pro, but this makes the note long and often difficult to work into my drawings. Is there a character that can be added to a config.pro string that forces a newline? For example: smt_bend_notes_order &type&direction&angle \n R&inner_radius What it looks like: What I would like:
Subject: Can the circuit board, rigid board and non-rigid board be converted to each other in ECAD assembly? I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.6.0 For the circuit board assembled by ECAD, the engineer converts the original rigid board into a non-rigid board, so how to convert the non-rigid board into a rigid board? Or is this conversion possible? In simplified mode, you can get and send incremental IDX files only if the board is rigid rather than flexible. I would like to automatically have the def_profile.dep_step loaded when starting the program versus having to remember the first time saving a .stp file. Is there a way that this can be loaded in the config.pro? I learned a lot from this post, but still lack some information: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Export-only-visible-parts-from-an-assembly/m-p/578032#M27083%3F&posno=1&q=intf_out_blanked_entities&DocumentType=Community%20Forum&source=search%C2%A0
Hi Guys, When doing a copy, paste special. You know how it shows you the edge or surface wire frame it wants you to use as reference for pasting on new part? How can i make this MUCH thicker? I know i can change the color, but its VERY hard to see what its wanting me to select most of the time. Anyone else have this issue ? I dont remember this being an issue in Creo 3. (now on creo 7.0.6.0) see this lime green edge? Yeah me neither. LOL (though this is much easier to see than some small little edge or something) Thanks,Jay
I am not sure, if there's something wrong with my creo settings.I'm no longer able to select multiple features in my model tree (selecting ctrl+ features does not work). Any configuration option need to be modified/any guess?
Is there a way to set a limit to the Step-file importer in Creo? My problem is, we have still some users in the company, ignoring our internal instructions to not import stepfiles with the size larger than 50-100 MB.
Hi,I am a student at a university working on a year+ long project that requires us to cut out a semi complex aerodynamic part (around 2x0.5x0.5m for reference in size) on a 4th axis cnc machine. I am working on the nc tool paths to cut this part however I have gotten to the point where it takes 15+ minutes to calculate the tool paths (around 5 cut line operations) which makes it very hard to diagnose problems and becomes very time costly. I have heard about creo parametric not being able to use all of the cpu cores and as I am in creo 6 (for compatibility and IT reasons) I wanted to know if the newer versions of creo support using more cores for nc tool paths or if there is a way to get around it, I have a Ryzen 2600x (6 cores, 3.6 GHz) and 16GB of ram)

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) Release 4.0 and DatecodeM080When opening any files in Creo, the program locks up. We can close the program down normally.
We've just updated from Creo Parametric 6 to 8 and I'm having issues with placing symbols on my drawing. In Creo 6, when inserting a symbol, there was an option to place it In Free Space or On Entity or On Vertex. I could use the On Vertex option to place the symbol on a datum point. I can't seem to find this option any longer in Parametric 8. The option for referencing a datum point seems to have vanished.
I'm currently using Creo 6 parametric and I managed to wrap the sketch around the cylinder but i cant extrude the sketch nor erase the cylinder because erasing the cylinder erases all the sketch what should I do to solve this? Edit: I have a solution for the cylinder I dont have to remove the cylinder from the files I just have to remove it by making an identical cylinder then, erase it.
