Is there a BOM table with substitutes in the drawings in Creo?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM190Please resolve the 7-10 second pause after performing the measurement command.I have already set config.pro option clearance_triangulation to None.But It hasn't improved.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.7.0how can i divide a hole table?? there is the possibility to paginate it as i can do with repeat regions??

I need to obtain the appearance data of the parts and surfaces present in an assembly without the user interaction i.e., without interactively selecting the parts and surfaces by the user. I am using Creo parametric version 8.0.2.0

While starting Creo, I am getting following error message (License request failed for feature )  and creo close automatically. How can I check my license is expired or not ? 

Tolerance Group is greyed out!  I have set Entity Display as "Show all tolerances" in Options. But it keeps going back to "Show only ISO table-driven tolerances". I have set Tol_Display to be Yes. However, the tolerance group is still greyed out. I don't have this type of problem with all my drawings in the past. But this time, this drawing is passed to me to help finish it. Is there another "switch" to be toggled on so that the tolerance group can be activated? Thanks. There always have more to learn in CREO.  

We are using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.5.0I have 2 users experiencing issues with models freezing during use or when switching between Windows. Both receive "Not Responding" notice at the top of their respective sessions for varying lengths of time. Both have checked display drivers and system reports best driver selected. 1 user has a NVIDIA Quadro T1000 on a Dell Precision 5540 system. The 2nd users has a T1000 on a Dell Precision 5560. Hi everyone. Not a Creo user myself, but trying to narrow down on a problem with one of our suppliers who use Creo. The provide (rather large, hundreds of MB to 1.x GB) complex models to us as STEP files which we fail to import. We on our end use Autodesk tools (Inventor, Autocad, Navisworks) and another simple Step Viewer (not by Autodesk). That is, the models fail to import on at least two (if not three) different import kernels/backends.  Of course I'm in contact with Autodesk support but cannot simply give them the models (yet)... IP rights/concerns, you know, lengthy progress to set up NDAs and such. We did recieve working models form that supplier in the past ("Automotive" AP214 format) which were imported successfully. We then received a more recent model in AP242 format which we were not able to read (importers of all mentioned tools fail after endless hours of "thinking", as if the model causes infinite loops or such). I've then asked to get

So I'm having a major brain fart but searching the PTC site for 20 min is getting me nowhere.Using Creo 5.I have a simple table, no repeat region.  I want one cell to reflect &customer_name  (or any other basic parameter)This works but  in this drawing only.   As soon as i save the table and open it in another drawing it wont work.the table shows CUSTOMER_NAME:1 when it is brought into another drawingAm i missing something?

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help!   I am using Creo 4.0 and would like to generate my BOM table and balloons off of a flattened harness assembly. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to add terminals, wire seals, cavity plugs, etc., to the flattened harness to pull them into the BOM. Right now it only pulls in the connectors, clips, back shells, etc., which are designated as connectors or attached to the flat harness using the "attach" feature. I realize that I could create 3D models for all of these internal components and assemble them to the connector.....and then route my wires to (or through) them. But some of my connectors have high pin counts so the thought of doing that makes my head spin.  🙂Has anyone run into this same issue and found a way to get those internal components to attach to the flattened harness assembly? Let me know if further information is needed in order to assist me.   Thank you!!

I am trying to use the measure tool on CREO to measure distance between two points. And for CREO 7.0 to measure the distance between two entities, "Ctrl + left click" is needed to measure the distance. However, currently my software has some bug that I cannot use the Ctrl + left click. (I'm using CREO on my virtual box and Ctrl+left key on virtual box will not give the correct response) Therefore, I will like to ask if I can map the Ctrl key to another key(any number or alphabet) on CREO 7.0. I have been trying to look for key map for the ctrl key but have no success so far. Will appreciate for any feedback or suggestion, thanks in advance!

Hi all,I can not make BOM (list of electrical component) in Wiring diagram in Creo Schematics. I need on sheet list of all component and their sum (like a mechanical BOM). Is it possible in Creo Schematics create BOM report? If yes, can you tell me how?ThanksLudek

I have a large machine assembly with lots of objects, facets and edges resulting in a huge .drw file size. (DRW is 150MB)This won't print or export to PDF as the spooler takes too long. (I've let it run for 2hrs in one case.)Besides excluding everything that has many edges in a simplified rep (I've done about 50% and the file size barely reduced), is there a way to force a printing/export simplification?

Creo 4.0- Windchill 11.0 We have some spools that were defined with an .xml file. The author of those files is no longer with us. Is there any way to extract that .xml file to be able to modify it, or at the very least know where the file came from in order to attempt to retrieve it?Was not able to see any obvious references in Creo or Windchill to any schematics data either.

Hi,I've created a custom screw in IFX and all works great except I get 1 error when placing the screw. When I select the hole, head and nut reference and click OK to place screw, I get an error saying......  What does this mean? Hi,I have an assembly with some subassemblies. And each subassembly consists of some parts. All the parts in the assembly are inside the subassemblies so there are no parts on the top level of the assembly, only subassemblies. All the subassemblies have a parameter assigned in them, "param_name". I have a drawing of the top level assembly and would like to add a BOM table which shows only the parts and not subassemblies. And also I'd like to show the value of the "param_name" parameter of the subassembly where the part in question belongs to. So in order to show only the parts in the BOM, I made the BOM table recursive and added a GATHERING_PART = YES parameter to each of the subassemblies. I then used the GATHERING_PART parameter to filter out the subassemblies from the BOM. So now I have only the lower level parts showing up in the BOM.But I can't seem to figure out how I can read a parameter from a subassembly one level up in relation to the parts. Is there any way to

When saving a cabling assembly to Creo View, the network is saved with it, leading to a lot of green lines that sorta look like wires, confusing production. You can turn it off in Creo View by unchecking the "curves" filter, but our filters are set by default, so for those who don't know that, it's still annoying and confusing.   Has anyone had any luck in preventing the network from being exported to Creo View? Hiding it has no effect (as is usually the case with Creo View).

HI all, For evaluation purposes, I want to install CREO 8.0.However my company uses CREO 7.0.2.0, java 8_301 as well as WINDCHILL 11.1I figured out that for CREO 8 I need Java 11. Can I install Java 11, run my tests on CREO8, and continue to work alongside CREO 7.0.2.0 to troubleshoot my users? Regards
