Hello,   We are trying to see different size of sections on the right size depending on the left side object that we sellect. We want to see different product lists if we select "BORU, KARE MIL OR PROFİL..." which are the section types we use in our designs. Could you give a support to make this in Creo? Hi, I have a drawing of a sheet metal part that has two instances that differ by one dimension. These instances create two flat patterns. I want to display the instances in a table in the drawing. I want to display the part in flat pattern state, and I want the table to only contain flat instances. In other words, I need to filter (exclude) bent instances (they are identical except that one flat pattern feature is Y and N, i.e. suppressed and not suppressed).How can I achieve this? I tried various filters, but I can't figure out how to filter by this suppressed state. Thanks.

Hello Everyone   I am trying to use bonded contacts on two cylindrical surfaces; however, I get this error "Selected surfaces can not be used for this connection".   I believe this error because I have cylindrical surfaces to connect.Can anyone help me in how to use bonded connection for cylindrical surfaces?   Thank you in Advance.

I am trying to get a ribbon cable to route properly in an assembly, unfortunately I am not finding much info on this topic in the help files, this forum, or googling in general. I was able to get a spool set up and route some simple cables that are mostly straight with some ups and downs. Now I need to route a cable that makes some right angle turns by folding the ribbon.    This help page shows what I am trying to do, but I can't make it work at all (the part around the folds always gets funky, image attached): http://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/usascii/index.html#page/electrical_design%2Fcable%2FAbout_Location_Points_for_Ribbon_Cables.html   I have also attached images of my spool setup. Is there a way to access functions from the Piping and Cabling (PCX) extension with the Object Toolkit? There is nothing defined in the documentation about extensions.

I am using Creo Parametric 4.0 M130Trying to recreate .wrapper files in Windchill with Creo Distributed Batch. Setup everything according to CS292025 and ran through all configurations and steps, but the non-Creo files never update with the updated template and DIP files. The DBatch results show that the job has competed with no errors.Please advise.

I am using Creo Parametric 6.0 6.0.6.0I have a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad (7 weeks old, 11th Gen Intel Core 2.40GHz, 16.0GB RAM) and have been trying to use Creo Parametric to work on some products at my new job; unfortunately, the software doesn’t seem to want to run at all and is extremely slow and laggy on the PC. I can just about open a model but orbiting/ panning too quickly will make the program crash and freeze. It is incredibly slow to implement and view changes. On this laptop, I also have NX 11 and Solidworks installed, which are CAD packages with similar requirements to Creo (possibly even higher), and they can run with no problem, so I do know this issue is Creo specific. I am working on these packages at the moment whilst I look at fixing Creo, but would prefer to be working in a compatible environment to my colleagues. Fixes I have tried: I have attempted to rewrite my ‘config’ file to change some key settings (an experienced colleague's recommendation) but with no luck. I

We have mapkeys tied to buttons in the GUI that allow users to very quickly pick some of our more common materials.   They work great the first time but one of the issues is the "set as master". If a user clicks on the mapkey a second time however the material changes to be PTC_SYSTEM_MTRL_PROPS. It appears that everytime you invoke "set as master"   mapkey(continued) ~ PopupOver `finder` `listPopup` 1 `FFileListPHLay.Filelist`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Open `finder` `listPopup`;~ Close `finder` `listPopup`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `finder` `FAddPushLib`;   it toggles  between the material you meant to assign and the PTC system material.   Anyone figured out a way around this so it doesn't toggle the PTC system material? Obviously training is an option. Help! I'm starting to tear my hair out trying to figure out why this won't work. I've created an .xml file that I want to import from the Parameters dialogue box. I've double checked the format. If the parameter in my list doesn't already exist, the parameter is created just fine. If the parameter already exists in the part, however, I can get the file to create a Duplicate with the "_1" suffix. But when I uncheck the "Duplicate if cannot Replace" option so that it will only replace the values of existing parameters, nothing happens. It never changes the values of the parameters.  The example I have is a parameter that is simply called "N". Its value is an integer. The Designate box is unchecked. Access is Full. Source is User-Defined. The Restricted box is unchecked. There is no Unit Quantity or Unit. When I import the .xml file and click the Details... button I get the following message: The following conflicting parameters CANNOT be imported (possibly because they are used in R

Hello community,   in the context of my master thesis, I want to consider the possibilities of Creo Simulate. I know that Creo Simulate uses p-elements, whereas e.g. Abaqus uses h-elements. I also know the general principles behind the two methods, but I could not find any detailed explanation of the element formulation in Creo Simulate. So e.g.: - are p-elements basically h-elements, but only with higher polynomial order? Or is there a basic difference in the formulation of p-elements? - do the p-elements in Creo Simulate also have midside nodes? - are the elements in Creo Simulate isoparametric? - does Creo Simulate use numerical integration, calculate stresses at integration points and extrapolate them to the intersections of the plotting grid?   If you have any explanation or know a good literature, I would be thankful for your answers. Hello All,   I have this situation where I create a drawing and I add a complicated geometric tolerance with text and symbols etc, which is fine and required for the design.   But when I want to add a new geometric tolerance it shows the complicated one. Meaning I have to delete all the text, symbols etc. I think Creo remembers the previous one. Is there a way that I could get a blank slate every time when I add a new geometric tolerance?   Best regards,   Vincent

Hi,   Is there a way in Creo to make a feature the same way as NPTF threads are made in the attached picture? The tool is not an ordinary threading tool with helical grooves, the spiral is instead produced by simultaneously rotating (blue) and feeding (red) the tool in the hole which is bigger than the tool. Is there a feature in Creo?I would like to make an accurate representation of a fully modeled thread for FEM analysis and “Helical Sweep” feature is not how the thread is produced. In Helical Sweep feature, the axis of the tool and the axis of the hole are the same.   Can this be done in Creo?

Hi everyone,   I am currently trying to apply a force on an assembly, a delta robot, more precisely on its end-effector. The problem is that the stress/force is not passing through the different parts. It is like if the static analysis is only considering the part I applied the force on.   I have simplified this first analysis by bounding some parts, the one that are screwed together. I have also not included the bearings for all joints, the idea was to link the parts without the bearings. For that, I have used the "Function Pin" of the constraints. The first joints of the delta robot are blocked axially and radially, then, all other joints are just blocked axially. Hello! I use Creo 4.0 M150 and sketch is slow on the new computer (intel i7, 32Gb ram, 512gb ssd).  I use Creo 4.0 M150. New sketch contains many used edges from the assembly. Dimensions in the sketch is set for 3 seconds. What can i do to speed up work with this sketch? Everything else works quickly. Thanks

Hi, I was trying to make a simple spring mechanism for school project When creating this, I faced a problem that two pairs of dots are not simultaneously selected.As shown in the attached figure, pnt0 and pnt1 were set on the top and bottom of each part, respectively.I tried to select the other point by pressing and hold Ctrl key , but it didn't even work.How should I solve this problem? I don't know what the problem is.
