Hello, inside J-Link I've been trying to set a specific coordinate system for IGES export without success. I've been making more use of sketched holes in my designs recently, but I noticed that when you use this this type of hole, I lose the ability to set a parametric end condition, so if a plate that contains the hole feature changes thickness, the hole may become short.  So far, the only way I can deal with this is to write a direct relation to force the hole length to match the plate thickness, but is there anyway to establish a reference to another part inside the sketch from the hole feature so that my sketched hole automatically adjust to changes in plate thickness, or is the only way to accomplish this through a relation?

I am using Creo Parametric 3.0 M150When making a new drawing and using the default template the new drawing does not name the drawing the same name as the active model. This has been working since we have installed but now has stopped working. Could this be a result of folder redirection or some security or network configuration? I have checked other users installs and they also behave like this. We are using Creo3 M150 and Windchill 10.2Here are the errors that I faced None

I believe this has come up before, but the previous solution is not available in my Creo 6. Colors in the model seem fine but selecting a color from the palette is a challenge... They are all dark.   

I don't know if creo view stereoscopic rendering functionality relies on nvidia 3dvision(pro) or not, as it has been obsoleted, I can not use/see the stereo switch button on the bar menu following instruction as Stereoscopic 3D output - PTC Community, but stereo configuration remains in the setting menu, with no effects.  Any help would be appreciated.  

As a CAD Administrator, a universal complaint I have received from people coming from CATIA and Solidworks users is that Sketcher weak constraints make things way too complicated. Many people just want to doodle in sketcher, then realize constraints later.   Under-constrained mode is *clearly* implemented in the Cosmetic Sketcher mode, can it please be implemented/enabled in the normal sketcher?

Why are all my colors extra dark? I believe this was the appearance.dmt from our internal cad support people when we moved to creo 3.

Hello PTC Community, I have issues to print hidden lines on drawing module, i export to PDF and hidden lines appears as continuous linemaking drawing confuse, any of you can guide me what to configure to fix the issue?

I've been working on developing an improved moldbase template for our tooling designers, and I've really gotten into writing custom annotations, symbols, and using MBD with combination states to drive the initial workflow for a tool design.  Basically, my approach is to isolate the control dimensions that affect only a few components at a time so that the template is clear and easy to use.   I've figured out that in order to show dimensions in an assembly, I need combination states in the model that I intend to reference. To make things easy, I'm going from the skeleton. So far, I've been able to get regular dimensions to show and notes.  But my problem is with baseline dimensions, which I'm using for clarity in some reference sketches (Notably the control locations for the pillars). These driving ordinate dimensions don't show up when I try to show them in the assembly or the part level regardless of if I filter for ordinate or driving dimensions.  Is there a way t

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 2.0 (connected) 2.0 M250When I open an assembly or even if I create a new assembly, if I click on the tools tab, I get a spinning wheel for about 3 seconds and then the software crashes and closes down. It will happen right after a create the assembly and don't do anything else except click the tools tab.Here are the errors that I faced No warning or alerts.I tried reinstalling the software and got an error message on diagnostics tools claiming to be unsuccessful. It says a newer version of diagnostic tools is already installed on this machine.The version that you are trying to install (version 2.0.0.0) is out of date and will not be installed.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 7.0 (connected) 7.0 7.0.2.0Hiwe have a lot of large PID in microsoft visio, and we would like to get this information over to the piping module. Is there an easy way to do this? AS far as I understand we can use spec driven piping, which means it reads XML file, however after endless searching I cannot find a single XML sample file or the API of how this XML file should look like. We would like to get names and pipe sizes over for a start. Later we would also ideally like to get the the order(how they are connected) over as well. Any help on this matter will be appreciated.

Hi, is there an option to allow non Admins to use ptcflush/lmremove only on a Windows based FLEXlm server? but not lmdown or so? adminOnly yes, enables all these features, afaik. br Bernhard  

The issue is mapkeys run in Creo 7+ are causing flashing windows to appear and this is new relative to running the same mapkeys in Creo 4 where no windows are appearing. If you have seen this same behavior, please reply here so I can comply with PTC support request to prove that other users replicate the issue. See the video for an example of the flashing windows.   PTC support has asked me to inquire here about an open issue with mapkeys in Creo 7+ causing flashing windows to appear.  The request from PTC support is shown below.   Could you check in user community, if other users are also facing this issue? This will help us to go back to R&D and say that this is affecting all such mapkeys and in a large number for most of the users and so can be pushed for a fix. They have clearly mentioned that if this happens for all such mapkeys and in large numbers, they may look into it however looks like I didn’t find any other such issues reported.     Article deta

Hi allis it possible to link parameters to a notebook or excel in assemblies?For example i would like to control the angles in this system of linkages (see picture) by changing values in a table.  

ModelCHECK (MC) is returning an error that I don't know how to get rid of.  In the user_words we have the lines: DE-ENERGIZEDDE-ENERGIZEDE-ENERGIZES   Yet, Creo is returning DE as a spelling error.  Does anyone know how to not return an error when it is part of an acceptable hyphenated word?  

I just wanted to post a a little helper file for creating internal and external threads based on the Unified Thread Standard (UTS) which covers both English and Metric.   I must give high kudos' to Wikipedia.  I borrowed their images and tables for the attached Creo 2.0 full version parametric file.  You will also find a linked link in the site if you turn on annotation.   See the relations to drive the pitch and diameter you are interested in.  The file is set up for English but you can change it to metric units, if that is your primary usage.  Most everything that can be driven by relations has been.  Only 3 variables are needed... and TPI (thread per inch) is set to zero if you want to define the pitch directly for metric threads.  See the "IF" statement in Relations.   I did have some troubles along the way.  I split up the helical sweep because it -did- fail if I did it in one go although it did not overlap anywhere.  This was

I have a very simple assembly of 4 flat sheets stacked on top of each other. The tree shows them in the correct order (bottom first -> top last). The BOM balloons however put the 2nd sheet as #1, the bottom sheet as #2, and 3&4 are correct. The BOM table correspondingly lists the 2nd layer as first in the table, then the bottom layer, then 3 and 4. Is there a way to reorder the balloons and table?Thanks in advance... I'm new to ProE.
