Does anyone know how the metal will bend the image if the image is introduced into the sheet metal? The Appearance Gallery cannot cut images and cannot perform the operations I want. I want to use the following website to design a box with artwork: https://online.packmage.com/Online/Design/0003, How do I use CREO to make it?

Good morning, we need to know how the custom symbol (PMI) are exported in Neutral file. In particular we would like information on the syntax with which custom symbols are exported to the neutral file (for example "object_type"). Another question: Does the value of the object_type depend on the type of custom symbol associated?   Thank you for your help.

Community,   I went from Creo 6000 to Creo 6040, and I cannot find the ifx fastener data, as shown highlighted below.  I have never encountered this before, even with the Lite version.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thanks in advance.

Community,   Is there a way to activate the LEADER TYPE menu to make a Leader Note?  The Menu Manager on the right is from the balloon note activation.  I want to be able to have an Integral on the end of my leader for a note.  Thanks in advance.  

Can anyone explain why pinning a file in the recent files list does not work very well?   I pinned a couple of files, a few days ago, in the recent files list under the File tab, as I would do in many other programs.  Today they are no longer pinned.  Shouldn't they stay pinned until I unpin them?  I am using 4.0 and I believe the issue has been in previous versions but I wasn't frustrated enough about it to ask the question.

Hello,   while making my makefile of my own application I got the following errors: NMAKE : fatal error U1077: ….<a path>….: return code '0x2' Slightly before there were following errors: error C2065: 'ProModelitem': undeclared identifier I guess I didn´t include my header files correctly in my makefile, but I don´t really have a solution to my problem. If I have a part with a large pattern of holes in it, is there a way to turn those holes off or on using Pro Program, for different family table instances of that part?   So if this is my generic part. and I want one instance of this part to look like this..   and one instance to look like this   Is there a way to do that in pro program so I can just create a parameter and turn those specific locations off or on?   Thanks!! I am trying to work with feature creation using FET but I cant find any documentation on them. The TOOLKIT User Guide says that <creo_loadpoint>/includes should have header files with feature specific element trees but includes folder only has spgusrgl.h in it and that doesn't seem very useful for what I am trying to do.    If anyone knows how to get the header files mentioned in the User Guide or has a better resource for understanding the FET attributes that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a chain type assembly with mechanism constraints (pin constraint). I want to assemble this chain with its ends connected to two different plates which you can see in the image.When i try to assemble it , i can assemble it to only one side. Can you help me ? Also i want to know how to independently move the links in chain i.e., to lock the movement of other mechanical contraints of chain and to move a single link?  

Hey, I started to work with Creo Parametric Toolkit (C) a week ago. I have managed to understand the whole process of registering applications, working with makefiles and I read the first 80 pages of "tkuse.pdf" (the C-Documentation). Now I want to start developing my own application, but I find it very hard to understand examples like "pt_userguide" which contain a lot of .c files (with hundrets of lines) which are somehow connected to each other... How did you start with Toolkit or do you have any suggestion how I can understand the progress of making a TK-Application step by step? Thanks in advance, Florian

Community,   Please read the below snippet.  No how many times I restart Creo 6, I always get this port conflict warning.  Is there a way to resolve this?  This happened during a PTC technical support call where I requested that I do not want to use LMTools to create services.  I am using a locked license for Creo Parametric, and flex admin for Creo Simulate.  Also, it takes an extremely long time to start Creo.  Thanks in advance.  

As soon as we apply I cylinder joint in assembly a rotation  direction is is start showing. How can we specify the direction like clockwise and anticlockwise or change the default rotation direction.

Hi all,    I have to wite a routine that save a .pdf file of a drawing using the p/n, version and revision parameters specified for that part.    Thanks to a lot of informations listed in this forum I was able to resolve part of the problem. I have written a mapkey routine that save the pdf, after loading a specific Profile, with a fixed name XXX and a .txt file with listed all the prameters of the part. Than I've written a batch file that use the informations listed in the .txt file and rename the pdf. file accordingly.   What I wasn't able to do was to launch consequently the batch file inside the mapkey routine. I swear that Creo can create an exit counterbore with the hole feature...but maybe I'm mistaken?

I am struggling on something that is extremely simple.  I need to match geometry built originally by customer as a bi-rail loft.  The sections are quite simple but the solution to this is eluding me. Here is the frame I have to start with. My 1st inclination was to attempt this as a Swept Blend.  I constructed this by choosing 2 reference curves.  As seen below the main reference curve looks great but the solid totally misses the secondary rail. Another method that I've tried is through using a Boundary Blend.  This would work if the side surfaces didn't want to become the top surface going around the sweep.  I tried playing around with Control Points but in this specific instance it appears that they don't work properly. I also attempted this as a Sweep but I don't even want to share those results it was so bad.   By any chance is there just a hidden bi-rail loft command in Creo?   If not would anyone have a recommendation for getting a good

I'm using CreoToolkit with Creo 6.0.4.0When you scan a 3D model for 3D annotations even deleted annotations can be found.I don't use the visit functions as I'm not able to find all the dimension types this way.I have not found a method to distinguish deleted (invalid) annotations from valid annotations.Is there a way to check the status (deleted/not-deleted) of an annotation in Toolkit?   Thank you very much in advance.

Hi   I am trying to show solid tools on ModuleWorks but I don't know why only the holder is shown and not the insert.   I attach two pictures    SOLID_TOOL.png is shaded in Creo SOLID_TOOL_2.png is in ModuleWorks. The holder is ok but the insert not   Both Holder and insert have a CSYS called INSERT  Holder has the parameter : VERICUT_TYPE set to HOLDER Insert has the parameter : VERICUT_TYPE set to INSERT   Any idea why?   Thanks   Marco      

I am attempting to create a repeat region that sums the mass of different material types in an assembly.  The issue is I have different common names using the same material in the table.  I know I can do this through filter, but I am being asked to provide a different solution.  Oh yeah - I don't know how to write relations!   Appreciate any guidance, Helena

I would like to have a pattern of extrusions on a part with labels on each extrusion.  However, I would like the text on each extrusion to be driven by the instance of each extrusion.  So, the text on the first extrusion would be something like "EX1" and then the text on the 15th extrusion would be "EX15."  I do not want to manually type in the extruded text - I would like it to be dynamic.   Is this possible? How do you reference the instance number of a patterned feature? How would I go about setting something like this up?

While using GD&T Advisor the DRF's get completed under each Feature Control Frame. They work great to show what surfaces are associated to what datums.   The issue being seen is they are being  displayed on the drawing views.   Is there a DTL setting to control their display on the drawing.   Using CP4 M120 and  GD&T Advisor 3.2.2.60.
