I am looking to do some rendering but element direct PE dosent have any software intergrated. I have version 19 installed on my PC with Win 7. I want to upgrade to Win 10.  I don't know which release of version 19 I have but the files are dated Sept 2014.  I don't know how to find out which release I have.  Do I have to have a certain release of ver 19 to work with Win 10?   Any recommendations about upgrading to Win10?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Customer has INDEX mill/turn NC machine with SINUMERIK 840D control system. This machine can have upto four turrets which could work independently. Movements of the individual turrets can be combined arbitrary. Each turret is programmed via separate NC program so called "channel". Inside of the control system, these channels can be synchronized via special programming elements called "waiting marks". CREO 3.0 is able to prepare mfg models for such types of the machines. Unfortunately CL-data are generated into the one CL-file. But I have no idea how to split postprocessor's output into upto four separate NC programmes-"channels". A couplet years ago, I opened the case on it. Hello, I plan to move my Model Manager 18.1 F000 Server (Oracle 11.2.0.2.0) to a new server which is configured with Windows server 2012 R2. 1st question: Would it be possible to keep MM 18.1 on the new server Win 2012 R2 ? 2nd question: If we move to MM 19.0, could you please give me the correct steps order to realize that ? 3rd question: Which version of Oracle should I install if I want to go for MM 19.0 on Win 2012 R2 ? Following the e-Learning program.   First they say that shells are not very accurate at areas of small radii. Although I do like Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express and I appreciate that it is free, a problem with this program is that it is not very user friendly, in my opinion, and that can be frustrating.  I sometimes find myself unable to figure out how to do simple things and the help file sometimes doesn't help.  I am in that situation now.   I want to move a workplane in a direction normal to itself until it snaps onto a certain face which is parallel to the workplane.  That seems like it should be a simple thing to do but I can't see how to do it.  I thought I could use the 3D Copilot (in the dynamic position mode) and that when the pointer got over the face the face would get highlighted and I could select it and then the worplane would snap to it.  But it doesn't get highlighted and I can't select it.  Of course there are other ways to accomplish this, such as just creating a new workplane on the face.  But I have been running into this part

Hello,   I tried to perform an analysis of a problem from the PTC Help Center.   I get the same exact numbers of elements and equations. However, the result is QUITE DIFFERENT.   I checked all variables (units, measures...) and I cannot see my mistake. Hi folks,   I am using Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express.  I am trying to loft through three profiles on three workplanes in a workplane set.  The profiles are fairly simple shapes with four vertices each.  But one of the workplanes is perpendicular to another one and one edge of the profile on one is coextensive with one edge of a profile in another workplane (and I think that may be causing a problem).  Anyway, when I try to create an appropriate matchline I get an error message which says: "If a vertex lies in another workplane, a vertex must be at the same position in the other workplane."  I don't know what that means and cannot create a loft between the three profiles on the three workplanes.  What must I do to create this loft?  I have attached a drawing with the three workplanes so you can see what I am talking about.   Thanks in advance,   VincentThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Have an engineer that is using Windchill to manage his design files. He's got ANSYS connected to Creo Elements Pro. When he sends the file to ANSYS it puts two pipes " | | " in front of the name and won't load it. I am guessing this has something to do with how ANSYS reads the file name or how Windchill shows it.   Any suggestions folks? Ich habe seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr mit Creo gearbeitet und jetzt wollte ich wieder einmal etwas machen und habe keinen Zugriff mehr. Man kann zwar einen Aktivierungscode für 72 Stunden  bekommen, aber das kann nicht die Lösung sein, jedesmal ein Code anzufordern. We are playing around with Creo Simulate and the non-linear large deformation parts.   It appears you cannot do non linear on beam or shell elements. Hello everybody ! First post and i'm not a native english speaker so if there are some mistakes i apologize for this.   I have a problem about machining counterbore in CoCreate Modeling 17.0..easy for you but hard for me   when we want to create counterbore hole a dialog comes out which needs too many parameters(workplane. counterbore diameter .counterbore depth. diameter.....), it's too intricate and the counterbore hole is standardized..so I make a customized toolbar as you see the attachment, and you needn't input the paremeters above,just choose the point where you want to put......   but here's the problem, I can't find the function for making counterbore hole in IKit... is there a function or other record lisp like "EXTRUDE"."C_CIRCLE " ect.   PS:  I've viewed too many topics on the website:http://www.cocreateusers.org/forum/ but i have no idea why i can't register on that forum and it's a bit difficult situation about my not well english.   Thanks
