There was no FAQ attached to the fundamentals of codebeamer class. Would be helpful to have a quick guide, for example I still don't know if there is an undo function or how delete a reference if it was made accidentally or incorrectly.
I'm really in need of someone's help in completing the discussion task. I carried it out perfectly at work and had no issues, I thought I'd try it again to confirm my knowledge and now Creo is acting COMPLETELY differently and it's driving me crazy, it's like the app is set up differently.
I'm taking the fundamentals of engineering bill of materials (eBOM) whindchill course, and when i try to access the virtual machine to preform an exercise I got message that the service unavailable due to maintenance downtime or capacity problem. could you please assist me resolving this issue.
I have a mapkey which prompts the user for a name and selecte adrawing template. Everything works pretty good except the wait time to retrieve the drawing template (and format) from Windchill. Our dataserver is local so this is just the normal process time I guess to "add these objects to your WORKSPACE". It can take up to a minute, may not seen like a lot of time, but I know the users will start trying to kill the process thinking the mapkey is frozen.Just curious to see if how others are managing the "start drawing" procedure. I can have the drawing templates locally in the hard-drive but then thenformats are created in your WORKSPACE as *NEW OBJECT.Here are the steps I am using:* FILE -> NEW* Select DRAWING -> UNCHECK Use default template* Select USE TEMPLATE -> BROWSE* Select WINDCHILL CABINET -> Enter the template name (we have ~20 diff templates)* Select OKIt may be just a training issue and let the users know that this will take a while, at least for the first time.
We downloaded a Creo assembly file from Enovia for a product development. But, we are encountering significant issues with the file, as it lags right from the moment we try to open it. We haven't experienced this type of problem before. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to resolve the issue. Therefore, we are seeking technical support from the Creo software team. This is critical assembly for the further development with iterations we expect the support from technical team in higher priority.
In the CRFD-MDL1 Creo_Fundamentals of Modeling 1 I can't pull up any of the exercises to work on with the work book.
Hello, When I get to the eSupport main page I cannot see any of the cases I opened : When clicking on "View request history" another tab opens but I get the following error : Would someone have any clue on what is happening here? Thank you very much Best regards
An alert was posted on the support site today, but the article link is not available in English. Seems odd that the alert would be available in English but the article not. https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS423168
I do not believe that this step is correct: The DR-101 Design Specs file is not in the Chainsaw - 220 Series Documentation folder. It is in the WCFD-WORK/Documents folder. It is also incorrect in the tutorial video. https://learningconnector.ptc.com/tutorial/1706689375397/create-windchill-document I also could not right-click to copy in the VM, I had to use CTRL-C.

Please accept our apologies if you're one of the users currently impacted by web account privileges issues on the PTC eSupport site. Symptoms are inability to log cases and view article details. The Systems team is currently re-processing all affected accounts, and we'll share an update in this forum once the job is complete. For more details, please see today's Service Alert. Thank you. Peter.
Hi All, I'm trying to prep a company wide training diet and want to use PTC's training central playlists as part of this, there are references to pre existing files throughout this training, a drone assembly being one, are these files available as a download or are they buried in the Creo installation somewhere? I'm probably missing something obvious but any help would be appreciated, many thanks Dave.
I'm getting an error because CRFD ASBY Creo_Fundamentals of Assembly doesn't have the wrench part for exercise 3
I am taking the Creo: Fundamentals of Assembly course and my assembly for exercise 3 won't generate because I think I'm missing some parts to it. How do I complete the exercise if I am missing the shaft part? I checked the folders and tried looking for it and couldn't find anything.
We are excited to introduce PTC’s new Manage Licensing application, launching May 13, 2024, for all ThingWorx and Windchill products. This isn’t just an upgrade – it’s a thoughtful redesign with our customers’ feedback in mind. The Manage Licensing app is a self-service tool that is integrated with the eSupport portal and will be accessible through the same License Management links that you use today. PTC University is happy to announce the release of two new trainings on Windchill Options and Configurable Products. Windchill: Options and Configurable Products 1 Windchill: Options and Configurable Products 2 regards~Syed
I no longer receive support emails. The last one is from last Thursday. In addition, Performance Advisor data has also not been updated since yesterday morning (CEST). Does anyone else have the same problem?
Below article is no more readable [Knowledge Hub] Windchill PLM Data Model https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS357651
I am not able to raise a PTC case as it is showing only Mathcad as an option under the Support Assistant title. Requires further dropdown options related to PDM.
Is this a common problem< i go into working directory, go down to exercise 1 and there is no file to open.
I've noticed this with others in the last days that when they share links from PTC Thingworx Help, the links now contain some encoded ID and basically become unreadable. It doesn't happen to me, might be a browser thing. The links they have look like this: https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/?_gl=1*19yh7tx*_ga*MjE5MzAzNTI0LjE2NzQwNTk5Mjg.*_ga_1QBT6P6HR1*MTY4ODU3MDg3MS4xMzkuMS4xNjg4NTcwOTA3LjAuMC4w*_ga_CBN5QVB9VJ*MTY4ODU3MDg4NS4yNS4xLjE2ODg1NzA5MDcuMC4wLjA.#page/ThingWorx/Help/Installation/DeploymentArchitecture/thingworx_deployment_architectures.html# (for me it still looks like this:https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/#page/ThingWorx/Help/Installation/DeploymentArchitecture/thingworx_deployment_architectures.html#) It's quite inconvenient to share those long links, plus there is the question if this code contains private data about their session or user. Anyone knows what's going on there?
We are glad to announce the availability of Windchill: Tailoring Change Management training . Course description is available here.Registrations can be done here. regards~Syed
