Hello I was wondering if I may be doing something incorrectly or if anyone else has ran into similar issues.I am attempting to modify existing SimpReps in a Creo assembly. When I go through the process there is no change to the SimpRep in the Creo assembly. Hi Everyone,I am working on a Creo Parametric 9.0.6.0 plugin using the VB API in C# in Visual Studio and have successfully created an application that interacts with Creo when it is running in the background. I can retrieve the active session and perform operations using the API.Now, I want to add a custom button to the Creo Ribbon panel and link it to my C# code so that it executes a function when clicked. I came across a similar discussion in the community and wanted to confirm whether this can be achieved using the VB API in C#.I would really appreciate any pointers, references, or guidance on implementing this. Why are these config.pro locations different.? How to understand them simply?  Why I do not see all the options to pick from? 

Hi,  We are changing our drawing format to change the layout.  Below is my VB code to set the drawing with a new format. The code only half worked. The new format could be applied, but the old format stayed.  I had been searching up and down and try to find if there was an option of "replace" but I couldn't find anything.  The online VB help about "IpfcDrawingFormat" has no help at allCan anyone please help? Hello everybody,I set up the graphics_library_dir config.pro line to customize the Appearance Library in Creo Parametric 7.When I go into the aspects, the personal ones are all dark and the bookcase does not show any aspects.The customized folder and sub-folder structure is exactly the same as the standard files that are in Coommon Filles etc.Is there a way to set a different one? Hello All, I have a function that create a CSYS from another CSYS. It works fine when I use the command ProSelect and use the ProSelection in the function. ProError CreateCSYS(ProName name, ProMdl mdl, ProSelection CSYSREF, double tranX, double tranY, double tranZ, double rotX, double rotY, double rotZ) {} Now, I'm trying to create de CSYS without asking for the selecion prompt from the user.I'm trying to get the ProFeature of the CSYS and use the command ProFeatureSelectionGet(). But it doesn't work. I tryied many diferent ways and none worked. How can I get the ProSelection of a CSYS to use in my function without asking it for the user? I'm using Creo 8.0.10

My company is starting to use the wiring side of Creo and to stream line things in the future is it possible to make a template for the harness drawings? I'd like to have the bottom right corner to look similar to how a solid part drawing would look and have tables ready to put the BOM. Is this something that is possible or worth it to save time?

I am using CREO 10.0.7.0 and on the drawing sheet. I have to edit a bom table .tbl file to modify the template to my needs.I want to move a column or copy and paste the contents to a new column created at the desired position.  I also want to edit the column width to match text size automatically.How can I do this task?

Hi all, I would like to create a program that automatically starts Creo Parametric and do a set of operations. To start I created a basic program that only starts Creo and connects to Windchill. Here I already run into some problem where the program runs fine when started normally. However when i start it from Windows Task Scheduler it only runs when the user is logged on. If I select "Run wether the user is logged on or not", Creo fails to start and returns a general error. The user account and machine are the same in all situations. Anyone have an idea how to run Creo as scheduled task? Hi,  Creo Windchill is very different from other PDM system. There is no real folder structure. I am confused of how to extract all drawing files from active workspace. I like to create a VB.net program to export all of them to PDFs, But I don't know how to extract the list of the filenames. Can anyone provide a code example of how to create a file list in Active workspace?  Thanks

Creo 10 I have been tasked with providing restricted values for parameters based on my material selection.Example, if I select 1018 CRS, I only want my "finish" parameter restricted values to be powdercoat / black oxide If I select 6061 aluminum, I want my "finish" parameter restricted to clear anodize / black anodize. My 1st attempt, your able to create material parameters for individual materials. However, if you create restricted values for material parameters, the restricted values do not save with the material file. If this worked each material would be able to have its very own set of "Finish" parameter values and this is all I'm after. My 2nd attempt, was to have each material having its own special parameter. EX.... 1018_Finish, 6061_Finish. Then have a restricted variable file grab the appropriate information. This worked, however I need my drawings to be populated with a &Finish. Hello everyone,   We are trying to implement a method to calculate the distance between features through the toolkit. Our scenario is below : 1. Visit the edges of the Geomitems of the features to be compared and create an array. 2. Create ProSelection for the edges of the array. 3. Return the minimum distance between the edges of 2 features. (using ProFitClearanceCompute)   As the number of feature increases, it seems that there will be more loops and performance degradation may occur. I'm trying to create a button that exists in Creo Elements, but for some reason doesn't exist in Parametric.It hides whatever you click. This is helpful because this way you can quickly "drill a hole" in your assembly by removing parts that are in the way. Creo Parametric wants you to click each part and then go to the menu and press hide. Hi there,it seems, that for all non-english installations and customers of Creo Parametric, the implemented and by default activated spell-checking is unusable.Even worse, when the complete text is red-curled-underlined, the text is barly readable and makes it easy to miss a real typo. I found this page, which addresses the issue: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS39069But unfortunately (and usual), PTC does not provide a helpful resolution ( "no plan to fix" & "works in IE").Does someone know, how to disable the embedded browsers spell checking or how to change the language for the spell checker ?
