Hey guys We have a widget for TW 7.4 called BMCodeHost that I have been trying to get working on V8.4 without success. Is there someone here that has managed to get it working ? Hi there,   I am using the host free for 30 days.   I have created one dashboard and one user.   I was able to open this dashboard in other devide (tablet). To do it I copied the runtime's link and shared with my tablet.   When I opened the link was requested access credentials and the first time I missed the login and I was able to observe that no message was showed saying for example: "user or password incorrect".   Is there any way to change the login screen?     Regards, Leonardo.

Currently I am working on Edge Microserver. For this I am following guide https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/use-edge-microserver-ems-connect-thingworx This guide talks about the Edge Microserver installation on Windows machine. This guide uses the precompiled binaries for windows provided by following link  https://tpgtwxdevzone.s3.amazonaws.com/files/media/Software%20Content%20Management%20SCM%20stuff/MED-61060-CD-054_F000_Microserver-Windows-x86-32-openssl-5-4-0-114.zip But I am not able to find any link of recompiled binaries for linux system. Please let me know if anyone has the link for downloading the ems binaries for linux/ubuntu.    

Hi,I am having an issue related to license. It is creating licenseRequestFile.txt file and ignored_license_capability_response.bin, I have tried to download the license using device id and put it in the folder ThingworxPlatform naming the license file license_capability_response.bin, Then after running the service AcquireLicense, tomcat server stops and license_capability_response is changed to ignored_license_capability_response. Hi All,   I am trying to connect to an Oracle 9i database through thingworx.connection seems successful and when I run a service to get the records I am getting the data but few columns are blank. The datatype for those columns which are blank is varchar2

I trie to re-run the same workflow but with different inputs parameters while the one is not finished yet I use a simple workflow , using webhook as input . The flow use only log and delay boxs. I use postman to start the flow . The first flow is started . When i send again a new post before the first flow is not finished . The flow is never re-executed

Hello, I am trying to determine if Asset Advisor and Production Advisor meets my requirements.  I want to be able to change the default status of my asset if something happened on the plant and also add a comment to an asset to log any anomalies or things that occur on the plant.  Is it possible to customize Asset Advisor to be able to override the default status in real time and add a comment?   I tried doing this in the free trail but if I try and add a label to the mashup it does not appear in the Asset Advisor dashboard in the App suite. Perhaps I am doing it incorrectly or I am not allowed to   Thanks in advance for your help.

I am trying to use the new QueryImplementingThingsWithNamedData service in Thingworx.   According to the help file I need to have the basicPropertyNames as a InfoTable. In case it's useful for anyone, I successfully used the Thingworx Importer to import an Entity using version 8.4.1. The import command was in a CURL script (can also be run using e.g. Cygwin on Windows) and the entity data was contained in an XML file. Hi, does anyone know how Thingworx checks the difference when importing source control entities. We are finding that from time to time files will be marked as being the same (un-ticked checkbox), but in actual fact the files are quite different. We also see the opposite effect in that files that have just been imported are still showing as different. What is the criteria used to decide that a source control entity is different?   Thanks, K  

I have ThingWorx 8.5 installed and when i am using the new themeable Property Display widget all my properties is showing as modal popups instead of showing the value. PropertyDisplay I found that this is controlled with the DisclosureControl setting on the widget, but this setting is nowhere to be found in the properties of the widget!   Where should it be located?    

Hi, I have created to show a Geofence using Google Map Widget Extension in ThingWorx. However not sure, how to create alerts by linking it to a moving object. Monitor Kepware Server:1) In Controls Advisor of MFG Apps, add Gateway Server.2) Thingworx will create Industrial Thing with same name, with template of PTC.Factory.KepServerThingTemplate.3) Thingworx will also create Industrial Connection accordingly, with suffix of -GW for Thing Name, its template is IndustrialGateway.4) The property of isConnected of Industrial Thing or Industrial Connection can be used to identify status of Kepware Server.   2. Hi All,   I am exporting the output of one service using the Data Export widget.  When I am exporting the output of the service, I am getting the output as .CSV file but the problem is that I am not getting the output column wise (different headers with values) rather I am getting all the output (headers with values) in one column itself.   Can anyone suggest. how can we export the output (column wise) like with different headers with their particular values .   Thanks, Aditya Kumar

Hi all, I 'm trying to configure notifications in case of alerts. see attachment. I created an user, MaintenanceManager role, adding my e-mail as recipient (not gmail) but I don't receive any notification, even if the alert is active. In ThingWorx monitoring I can see the error: Error sending notification for Notification Handler PTC.SCA.Common.AlertNotification.MailServer Entity [PTC.SCA.Common.AlertNotification.MailServer] service [Notify] requires Administrator privileges Can you please help? thanks! Hello,   I have a simple service to clone an existing thing. I use Resources["EntityServices"].CloneThing and I got the following error: JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Unable To Convert From org.json.JSONObject to INFOTABLE   When I duplicate the Thing manually in the Composer there is not problem I can duplicate the thing.
