Hello everyone! I have a table (Excel, for example), the data from which I need to import into Composer. Is it possible? Or does ThingWorx import data only from files with its own format (twx.)? This is about data, not about entities.

Hi Folks,   Want to send data (string,infotable,etc) from Thingworx to Web based application. I tried invoke its web service using its URL in ContentLoader Functions (PostText) and got response.   Kindly help how to achieve this.   Thanks!

Hello all,   We have established Raspberry Pi connection to Thingworx server with Edge microserver and Lua Script Resource and the property values update correctly. (https://developer.thingworx.com/resources/guides/thingworx-raspberry-pi-quickstart)   How can we get the values to be logged to a value stream? Value stream is defined and connected to the PiThing. Properties from RaspberryPi are bind and marked as "persistent" and "logged" (for example cpu_temperature). Initial record to the value stream is created when LSR is started but after this no new records are added. The initial record with the original time stamp just gets a new value (eg. cpu_temperature). I am querying the value stream with "QueryPropertyHistory" service.   What are we missing here?   Any help would be appreciated. ThingWorx 8.4.2-b2151    

Per this topic: successful to create barcode but can't successful to read any barcode image in thingworx mashup. I have QRCodeExention in that we can create barcode but there is also read barcode there but don't know how to use it to read the barcode? Also it is possible? when we access mashup into mobile and give access to mobile camera to read the barcode? Thanks!

Hi, Is it possible to define a from ip range and to ip range and when the user logs in using organization if his ip fall's within from and to range he should land in a specific page. Eg: If the user ip is 192.168.0.100 - 192.168.0.109 he should land in station mashup. If user ip is between 192.168.0.110 - 192.168.0.120 he should land in Plant mashup.   Thanks in advance, Shalini V.

Hi Developers,   I'm currently working on a use case where the OEE has to be displayed as shown below. By default in Production Advisor app OEE and its related kpi's can be viewed over a week.   Is there any quick way to extrapolate the same feature to months? Also please suggest an high level design for this use case. I've planned to use DataTable to store kpi's against dates and project it in the chart.   Thanks and Regards, Saran

Hi. Im trying to retrieve some "logged" data and feed a chart with it.. I've   settled up already the configuration for logged properties in a thingtemplate, valuestream, etc.. But every single time i try to show the historic data in the chart it throw me the next errors. (See attached images)   Would be glad if You could help me. Thank You in advance.    

Hi, I am running Thingworx 8.2 and Kepware 6.3 I followed the guide here : http://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_8_hc/en/#page/ThingWorx%2FHelp%2FComposer%2FIndustrialConnections%2FIndustrialConnectionsExample.html%23   When I look at the Thing properties, I see Interface connected. Unfortunately, I can't get "Industrial Connections" section visible.   In Kepware log, I can see errors like : * Date Time Level Source Event3/31/2019 3:42:20 PM Error ThingWorx Native Interface Error adding item. | Item name: ''.3/31/2019 3:42:20 PM Error KEPServerEX\Runtime Attempt to add item 'Hostname' failed.   I can't understand what I am doing wrong, any idea ?   Thanks

How can we convert static property to bound property?  

I have Thingworx platform and Thingworx Analytics installed in a CentOS VM on my laptop. It was working fine until, the IP address of the VM changed (or so I suspect, may be something else also might have affected this). Please see the attached snapshots - all configurations are with localhost. I haven't used any IP addresses while configuring the Analytics and everything is on the same VM. Is there a way to get edge logs to see whats the error? I do not see anything useful in the Thingworx logs or Analytics logs.

Hi,   I would like to following the status of my equipment (running, down, ...) as a timeline chart like the picture below. I have tried the Gantt chart that is not so bas but it generates several lines for each event. I want only one line. Did someone of you already build such a graph ?   Regards.

Hi Team,   We are running tests to send data from Kepserver to Thingworx. At thingworx platform, we have create multiple things to receive the data at 10k events/sec.  However, we see the following messages at kepserver message console    "ThingWorx Native Interface  One or more value change updates lost due to insufficient space in the connection buffer. | Number of lost updates:15000"   My current scan rate is 1000 ms. I tried increasing scan rate and publish rate but still seeing these errors   Problems/Queries 1. Is there any tunable which needs to be configured for this buffer ? 2. Is there a limitation with Postgres to accept records at 10K events/sec ?   Regards Sunil

Hi, We are facing issues with Thingworx first time login. We are using - Thingworx 8.4 on Tomcat 9.x on Azure Windows Server 2012 VM. DB is Azure managed PostgreSQL 10.x Please take a look at the attachment. We tried all possible login credentials and nothing worked. Also tried Administrator/admin credentials from some community discussions. What should be the first time login? The online Thingworx documentations suggest that once we open "http://server:port/Thingworx" page, we should change the initial password that was defined in platform-settings.json. However, I am unable to get past this login page.   Requesting some assistance please.

To pre-process for analytics, I need to calculate some values. It would help immensely if I could utilize Math functions like hypot(),  etc. Does anyone know, how I can make use of these functions in a service?    I did notice that some functions do work like sqrt() for example, but not all, I am specifically interested in hypot at this time.

Hi, Is it possible while using the expand and collapse option for left sidebar where I place a menu to not only collapse the entire menu but to show the icons on collapse.  When I click on collapse icon the menu is completely getting collapsed but I wanted the menu icons to appear and text to collapse. Is it possible in thingworx? expand view on collapse

I am install ThingWorx Foundation trial into the same computer as KepServerEx6, but I can not connect KepServerEX6 with Thingworx Foundation, within the same computer   before now, I have tried connect with KepServerEx6 in Hosted trial, Which is normally connected   I'm not sure, the Host of KepServerEx6 can be configured as localhost ?, And the port of KepServerEx6 can be configured as  8080?   Could you giving advice me   Thank you  

I have some remote things with its properties bounded and logged. I show to user Property History Log and I don´t want to lose logs when remote thing disconnects.   I have a C# console app with Thingworx SDK whom pushes the properties every x minutes. Does C# SDK save these properties in a queue and then send it to the server when reconnects? Or I have to handle this case?

Hey guys - I am working on creating a menu similar to Manufacturing Apps and have been running into an issue. Here are the details. Created a tile mashup template with an image, description and a overlaying navigation widget. The data needed is hosted in a Data Table and  using GetDataTableEntries service i am mapping the data over to the collection widget. The parameters on the tile template mashup are mapped to the fields from the GetDataTableEntries. Viewing the Mashup and the tiles display icons and descriptions of all lines of data in the data table. Upon clicking the tile it opens a new tab but the mashup doesnt open. For e.g. the mashup to be triggered is MainMashup and i expect to see the like url  http://xxx:8080/Thingworx/Runtime/index.html#mashup=MainMashup but what I see is http://jmpthingworx:8080/Thingworx/Runtime/index.html#mashup=&__nc=c6551917-9429-41f9-9a1b-cd522fbc9d3a. Another thing to note is that the name of the mashup is being passed

Is there any provision to set one location as default network selected node instead of "Auto Select First Row". Please refer Below snap, I want SysAdmin as default Location.
