Hi, Is it possible while using the expand and collapse option for left sidebar where I place a menu to not only collapse the entire menu but to show the icons on collapse.  When I click on collapse icon the menu is completely getting collapsed but I wanted the menu icons to appear and text to collapse. Is it possible in thingworx? expand view on collapse

Hi,  I could NOT find the Expression widgets in ThingWorx 8.4.  Does this widget get removed or renamed ?    Regards, Sean

I am install ThingWorx Foundation trial into the same computer as KepServerEx6, but I can not connect KepServerEX6 with Thingworx Foundation, within the same computer   before now, I have tried connect with KepServerEx6 in Hosted trial, Which is normally connected   I'm not sure, the Host of KepServerEx6 can be configured as localhost ?, And the port of KepServerEx6 can be configured as  8080?   Could you giving advice me   Thank you  

I have some remote things with its properties bounded and logged. I show to user Property History Log and I don´t want to lose logs when remote thing disconnects.   I have a C# console app with Thingworx SDK whom pushes the properties every x minutes. Does C# SDK save these properties in a queue and then send it to the server when reconnects? Or I have to handle this case?

Hey guys - I am working on creating a menu similar to Manufacturing Apps and have been running into an issue. Here are the details. Created a tile mashup template with an image, description and a overlaying navigation widget. The data needed is hosted in a Data Table and  using GetDataTableEntries service i am mapping the data over to the collection widget. The parameters on the tile template mashup are mapped to the fields from the GetDataTableEntries. Viewing the Mashup and the tiles display icons and descriptions of all lines of data in the data table. Upon clicking the tile it opens a new tab but the mashup doesnt open. For e.g. the mashup to be triggered is MainMashup and i expect to see the like url  http://xxx:8080/Thingworx/Runtime/index.html#mashup=MainMashup but what I see is http://jmpthingworx:8080/Thingworx/Runtime/index.html#mashup=&__nc=c6551917-9429-41f9-9a1b-cd522fbc9d3a. Another thing to note is that the name of the mashup is being passed

Is there any provision to set one location as default network selected node instead of "Auto Select First Row". Please refer Below snap, I want SysAdmin as default Location.

I am working in a project where Thingworx needs to be deployed in a framework. The framework routinely checks its health status by calling an endpoint/url. As long as anything is returned in a reasonable time, it's happy. The problem I am having is that it seems all the endpoints are behind a login. Is there ANY url that's open to public WITHOUT a login? say an "about" page? If not, what's the best way to add such an endpoint? thanks.

Hi,   I have two servers, server 1 with Thingworx foundation trial 8.4 and in server 2 I installed Industrial connectivity trial 8.4, and now when I'm installing Manufacturing Apps trial 8.4 the installator show me two error messages. Hi, I'm installing ThingWorx8.4 on Postgresql, but got error "Improper value found for model provider configuration password, system cannot start without valid password"  when launch tomcat.  I've executed   thingworxPostgresDBSetup.bat and thingworxPostgresSchemaSetup.bat without errors , so I'm sure that the password in the platform-settings.json is correct for the postgresql user "twadmin".      If switch to H2 database , then tomcat can launch successfully and Thingworx application works well.    Any suggestions ?   The tomcat error log and platform-settings for H2 and PostgreSQL are attached.  ==================Environment Information=============== ThingWorx version: 8.4 OS: Windows server 2012 R2 Tomcat: 9.0  Database: PostgreSql 10 JDK: Oracle 1.8.0_192/64bit    

Hi, When I reload the mashup or when I add any mashup into organization and log in as organization. The show/hide tab in the top is disappeared. I wanted to have that tab after logging in to organization and also I wanted to use the show/hide debug info in the tab and is there any way like using a button or any method to expand the tab in runtime and when I wanted to hide the whole tab, I wanted to hide it.   How can I achieve this? I have created a data table which stores daily numeric value. primery key is DAY and stores its corresponding value for day. but I want to add values at end of week i.e the 7 entries for 7 days in a week in another table which stores values per week. how I can achive it..?  Is there any service available in data table which can do this.?

Hello,   I'm testing my analytics extension and analytics server installation. I'm using the dataset downloaded from a PTC video (analytics_vibration).  When I tried to make a model I get the same validation error:          "Could not extract threshold value for the specified model with goal ...."   And Analytics Builder does not refresh the model page. I have read the article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS294946 but the solution explained it is only for windows users.   Any solution for Ubuntu users? My installation is: - Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS - Analytics server version: 8.3.0-r4   Thanks,   Olatz.    

Hi!   I don't know if it is a bug or 'feature' but Session Propoerties & User Properties in mashup events are no more available. We migrated to the 8.4.2 version and most of our mashups are broken.     I didn't find any Realese Notes either opened tickets about this issue. Any ideas when it will be fixed?   Regards! Adam

Hi Developers,   I'm using GetJSON content loader function available in TWX. Its throwing the below given error:   “Error:JavaException: javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: Host name 'xxx.com' does not match the certificate subject provided by the peer (CN=xxx, OU=xxx, O=xxx, L=xxx, ST=xxx, C=xxx)”   "ignoreSSLErrors" in the params of GetJSON service also doesn't seem to affect the result.   I tried the same call from postman and only when I turned off the “SSL Certificate Verification” in its settings I was able to get the json output.   So how can i pass the insecure tag along with the REST service from Thingworx or how to turn off the SSL verification setting on the platform. Also how to pass the request body using the GetJSON service.   Thanks and Regards, Saran

Hi,    We are implementing the Operator Advisor with an actual client, using the OA as an accelerator of our project. We still have some questions around deployment, which are not very clear to me in the guide.   What is the recommended way of doing a OA deployment? I mean we will have allot of additional tables and AP's added to the current data model. What are the best practices on how to update the database when we go from one environment to another? I've written a Subscription service to parse and map the corresponding properties.   Is there any better workaround for this. Can this heavy lifting part done at kepware side itself.   Regards, saran
