I have some custom cycles that I built for boring parts that we make. I want the cycle to dwell at the bottom. Has anybody done this in their cycles?
The output of NC_Sheetmetal is turning the laser off then right back on with nothing in between as it goes thru the sequences. How do you supress this behaviour so it stays on while moving thru the material?

Working with NC_Sheetmetal, post processing does not turn on the torch. Machine needs a G58 to turn it on and a G59 to turn off. the .lst file has this where the turn on should happen; 10>TORCH/ON 10 10 ***WARNING*** + INVALID MAJOR WORD - TORCH , IGNORED 11>PIERCE/ON,CONST 11 11 ***WARNING*** + INVALID MAJOR WORD - PIERCE, IGNOREDI know it has to be I have made an error in the post processor setup but I don't know where.FYI, the "torch" is actually a router head but as long as the TORCH/ON puts a G58 in the code I will be fine. Thanks for any helpThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am trying to reverse-engineer a manufacturing model at a company that used to work (maybe as long as 7 years ago), it appears it last worked in 2000i as the manufacturing model (it seems) is calling for ncp210q.exe. As far as I can tell this was before PTC integrated the post processor. Was there a point at which they changed this and informed customers how to deal with failing generation of the G-code? Or should it still work as long as I have workcells and everything else configured correctly? I have only used the Prismatic and Multi-Surface milling starting in WF2 so I am not familiar with some of the change history of their NC packages. This is using NC Sheetmetal. Also, is it WF4 or WF5 that they put the manufacturing info in the .asm file? This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am trying to construct a curve based upon about 600 data points (2D) from a CMM. They are an a CSV file now. Any techniques of which anyone is aware? These are from the sphere center, so I'll just have to construct an offset curve to achieve the correct spline. I don't really ever work with imported data, so this is all Greek to me!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have a situation where I have to usean end mill with a .015 corner chamfer. In pro man tool manager the only place I see to get a corner chamfer is with a chamfer tool. The problem is with the rigid tool use in pro man they do not allow you to use a chamfer mill to side mill. Am I missing something, what can I do to get a milling cutter with a corner chamfer that will side mill am I missing something? This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
