How do I remove the errors Tool parameter TOOL_ROUGH_SPINDLE_RPM (used in relation): value undefined. and Tool parameter TOOL_ROUGH_AXIAL_DEPTH (used in relation): value undefined. I already do the following...1. In the Tool Manager I add spindle speed and feed and radial and radial depth.2. In the parameters I remove any relations with these variables.
Hello, I am sorry if this has already been discussed. I have searched for this topic without success. I am interested in production processing wood components through a 3 axis router using Creo. It appears that the NC Sheetmetal option is intended to do this with metal components. Is there a similar option for wood parts? Hi there. I would like to export a CL file of a part from Creo Manufacturing and to then post-process it to G-Code to mill on our ProtoTrak DPM2 3-axis CNC machine (with SMX controller). The roadblock is that I don't have a post-processor for the ProtoTrak DPM2 CNC machine, so I was hoping someone could direct me through the setup process in a few bulleted points. The end goal is to be able to mill some parts with complex surfaces with our ProtoTrak CNC machine. The ProtoTrak company website states that it is the CAM software's (in this case Creo) responsibility to post process the CL to understandable G-code for their machine, which they say takes the same G-Code instruction set as a Fanuc 6 CNC machine. I also have the accepted G Codes in a manual for the specific machine open on my computer, in case anyone asks, which I will upload as a screenshot. I am using Creo Parametric version 8.0.8.0

The number :2 refers to the ID of my Raw model. But when I save a copy Drawing / .asm and replace the model of raw material the parameter PRO_MP_MASS:2 doesn't update and in my drawing, the parameter keeps with the weight of the previous one. CREO Parametric 8.0.5 with NC Complete. I am working on setup up work center for Okuma mill-turn. Okuma uses common variables instead of work offsets. Has anyone setup a work center like this before or have some useful reference materials/videos for this?

Turning by milling We propose to create Creo Manufacturing functionality that will make it possible to process using the “Turning by milling” method. There is a need, especially in turning and milling, to organize processing using the “Turning by milling” method. This method is very important for our customers. To obtain scallops of optimal height, it is necessary to shift the center of the cutter tool relative to the axis of the workpiece. In other words, we need to ensure a offset of the cutter axis relative to the workpiece axis (Ew). We tried to do this using the 4X_LEAD_ANGLE angle, but we realized that the Ew offset and the 4X_LEAD_ANGLE angle are different and independent values. That is, it is impossible to obtain a certain offset Ew simply by changing the angle 4X_LEAD_ANGLE, and vice versa. Moreover, the contact point of the “END MILL” tool with values of 4X_LEAD_ANGLE is more than 1 deg. from the center of the tool face, when 4X_LEAD_ANGLE is close to zero,

My company uses Creo to design large scale glass facades and other highly customized designs for the architectural market. Some of our parts are very special and some are typical steel cross sections. My company is about to purchase an OCEAN AVENGER PLUS DRILL LINE. The AvengerPlus requires a DSTV compliant file which has a .nc or .nc1 file format files. Does anybody have experience with converting Creo parts into a DSTV compliant file? Any help would be great. I am trying to post out a thread cycle through creo for a Haas lathe. On the cycle line itself it only posts out g76 g98 f20. I've looked through the post processor and changed a few things in the threading cycle area but nothing has changed.Any ideas? Thanks,

Hello,I have a question about manufacturing family parts.I have 2 parts ruled by a family table. Simple parts, one with a M8 threaded hole and the other with a 8.4 countersink hole. This is the only difference between the 2 versions.The 2 versions/functions cannot cohexist in the generic part because the threaded hole and the countersink are both chamfered. The geometry for the chamfer on the threaded hole is destroy by the countersink fonction and vice versa for the chamfer and the countersink. In the generic part ONLY i am forced to desacivate one of the 2 fonctions. No problem with childs parts. Due to this specification is it possible to have one manufacuring assembly with a "selection " version threaded or version 8.4 ? Or am i forced to have 2 manufacuring assembly with both "child" parts ? Thanks in advance
I am experiencing issues with the material removal simulation in creo parametric 10.1, where the play path changes the tools I imported. I imported the following tools: H63TH-SVVBN-H16 with a VBMT160408 and MTJNL2525M16N with TNMG160408L-ES.During the play path simulation with the VBMT insert, it remains and shows the correct path. However, when attempting to use it in the material removal simulation, Creo modifies its geometry, resulting in an error. Additionally, I am unable to utilize the toolholder for generating the collision report.
I imported a lathe tool into Creo parametric 10.1, and whenever I run the simulation, the tool above the workpiece has a distance almost equal to the radius of the insert tip. I had the following request in today from a customer. How do I delete the references used in an NC step, Using the references right mouse click doesn't allow the option. Customer on Creo 4 F000, I have also tested on 10.0.2.0.Only way seems to be to edit the Tool Motion entries.
I have always struggled with Creo when it comes to getting good millpaths. No matter what I try, it always seems like Creo defaults to pushing the cutter directly into the middle of the part (material fully surrounding the cutter) instead of slowly milling its way into the part from the outside in.I have dealt with this issue for many years now, and decided it's time to make a post here asking for help. As you can see in the video, it would be ideal to mill the outside first, allowing 2/3rds of the cutter in the material until it mills completely to the center.(view in My Videos)

Hello,I have a problem with the creo post processor when i call an other coordonate system such as G55.Some context :I have 2 parts on a special clamping pallet with their own origin. G54 and G55.The final sequence is engraving serial number of each part. The problem :The first and the last point of the serial number have the same Y position (Y P1 = Y P2 = -12).The serial number is engraved at the same position on the two parts. By the way insisde their coordinate system Y positions are the same. D1 = D2In G54 Y P1 = Y P2 = -12 and in G55 Y P3 = Y P4 = -12 this is the corresponding code : What happens in real life : At the end of the first block, the cutter rises and keep the last Y position.G55 is read but because Y position is identical, Y is not recall on line 392. The cutter move to X -59.5 in G55 but stay at the same Y position instead of going to Y -12 in G55. Is there a way to force the post processor to output X and Y in case of changement of fixt
Hello, I am using CREO 7 and currently doing the cam follower mechanism for a cam rod and tappet and was following the tutorial provided PTCU. The tappet is having a flat surface. The mechanism works well for curved follower but not for the flat surface. I gave the necessary parameters that are required to define the mechanism but I am not getting the usual motion that is expected from this mechanism. The tappet sticks to the cam surface and rotates along with the cam rotation, which I don't want (I need the reciprocating motion). What should I do? Are there other parameters need to get the required cam motion?
