Mathcad

For a project (designing a log splitter) at school I am now working with Mathcad for the first time. However, I am now running into some problems. Maybe it's something really silly but I can't manage to solve two unknown variables from two equations. On the internet it is done with the find() function, but for me it doesn't work. Each time the 'find' function will output the follow: Find(Ay, By) --> Find(Ay, By) where Ay and By are the unknown values.   If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.   All variables and other text is in Dutch but this should not be a problem as it only concerns page 3.   thank you in advance!   Dennis,

hi,   i wanted to use a square wave to drive a mass spring damper system. i usually use the state space solver, as it has worked better than the other solvers. however, in this case, i get an error. note, the worksheet isn't fully setup yet, due to the error. i was trying to make an example, since there aren't any quick sheets for a square wave.   thanks,   anthony

we have mathcad 1988 version 2.0 which no longer support, these files are generated from same version in the year of 2007-08so now, i am not able to open those files with new version of mathcadany suggestions?

Hello,I am generating a MathcadPrime 3.1 document with c# using the interop "Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.dll".Everything works fine, but I like to save the worksheet as a pdf as well, I do not find the corresponding save as options, Mathcad 15  offered MCFileFormat.mcPDF format. Does something equivalen exist for MathCadPrime 3.1 .´Thank you in advanceJan

Hi all, in my first post, I've been pulling my hair out as to how to assign and format units correctly.   In the plot within the attached workbook, I would love the axis to be labelled (x)psi & (y)lbf, but I'm out of luck trying to get them there with the auto-formatting which mathcad employs.   Any hints would be gratefully received!   Thanks Andy

Hello,I want to create a square wave train with 40 kHz frequency. The problem with the attached worksheet is 1- it doesn't start from zero amplitude2- I don't know how to add the factor (x-vt) , x= position and v=the sound speed, to simulate the wave train propagation in "x" direction.Could you please give me some hints.All the best Payman

I need help urgently I am in my last evaluations and I need the program. I have been working with it for years and I have never had any problems but now it does not allow me to make certain calculations. I have already downloaded and installed the program but it still does not work. I get a message that I have to purchase the premium functions but this has never happened to me before. I would appreciate your help.

Hello after using it for several months I tried opening the software the initial screen comes up but then it does nothing, I already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it any help would be appreciated.

Hi PTC Mathcad Community, I have this Mathcad Prime 5.0 file in which many regions are apparantly corrupted. I think this is due to having math regions inside text regions. This is the first 3-4 pages, and the last few pages are ok.   Is it possible to fix the file?

Has any one used MathCad to take 2D images (e.g., bitmaps) and render a 3D point cloud from them? Is this do-able with MathCad? 

I want to evaluate G(s); however it say its not compatible.  Why is this, since its simple multiplication?
