Hello, i would like to plot the inductance current in mathcad. Piecewise functions describe the problem. The piecewise function starts from the value before. How can I do it? Piecewise function with if/else are easy, but how can i save the function value.   Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone,   I am currently trying to insert 8 references (worksheets) into a central worksheet to pull data for a calculation.   Previously, when using 4 references I have not had any errors. In my current calculation, out of the current 8 references, 2 have errors as shown below:   "There are calculation errors inside "......." "   There are no errors in the referenced worksheets, I have also tried to copy the calculation into a new worksheet, restart the computer, re-enter the reference etc.   Has anyone else had this issue before?   Could it be due to there being too many references?   (I am using Mathcad Prime 3.0 and have tried this in 4.0)   Thanks,   Henry

I have been a long user of Mathcad, back when it was a DOS program.  Currently I am using v15 but am planning on moving to Prime 5.  On some of my project I have to load six or more spreadsheets.  The multiple spreadsheets are loaded at the same time, via nested matrix.  Each cell has a READEXCEL for each case.  The individual matrix is accessed using the indexes.  I have two questions:   1. Will Prime support a similar method of reading multiple spreadsheets? 2. What is the change in performance?   I had been holding off on making the change because I have to have 2-D plotting for data checking and presentation.

Hey folks I am quite new to the software. I have a question of converting a nested matrix as in the attachment to a clean matrix. What I am doing is to manually match the row number to the final clean matrix. But since I will change the number of rows and the number of submatrix rows, is there anyway we can do it smarter? Standard 3D View component is good enough for me except two things: It`s impossible to pan and rotate view about some point (center of rotation) So, Is there some 3D view ActiveX component with panning and rotating about some point opportunities?

Hi, I have a problem with one element array in VBScript component. VB decide that it`s  TypeName is Double and VarType is 5 instead of Variant 8204 and CStr() gives "-1.#QNAN". So, I can`t get a value of my array. MC15 file is attached.

I need to find the X value for the following function where it breaks. Of course I can do it manually, but I would like to have a function, say Cr(D,u1,u2) that would give to me the x value where M(D,Gama,u1,u2) breaks.Can Anybody tell me how to do it? or Simply giving to me any function that does it?       Thanks in advance

Hello, Could anyone help me with fitting a Gaussian curve to the signals, please? In the attached worksheet, the function "plane1(k,x1,y1,d,taw)" detects the ultrasonic pressure filed amplitude on two microphones placed on the right and left side of the emitter. The peak of each signal is used to estimate the time of flight (TOF). For more accurate estimation of TOF, I use genfit to fit a Gaussian curve to the signals. However, the output of the fitting process (result(Data,taw)) does not look right and it sensitively depends on the scanned time range. In the current example, the signals time range do not exceed more than 0.01 s but the Gaussian fit works only when the time range is scanned up to 0.2 s. Is there something wrong?   Any suggestion would be highly appreciated, Payman

Hey, I am trying to model the second order differential equations for the shock absorber. I would like to get the funtion of the movement of the mass. I am getting errors from the Solve Block in MathCAD, and I cannot understand where is it coming from. I suppose the reason is the sin function x(t), but I have no idea how can I write it differently. Without units the solver was working fine, but with units I get always an error. I am uploading the MathCAD file. I would be glad for some hints and tipps!
