Mathcad

Hi!   I want to simulate the accuracy of the Euler-Polygonzugverfahren with MathCad. The allgorithm is a numerical approximation which the accuracy depends on the variable "n" with a programmed recursive function of the velocity. (I'm not that familiar with programing) Now my problem is: How can i display this function for n=6,10,20 timesteps in one diagram to visualize the accuracy?   Thanks in advance.  

Good Evening Mathcad Community,   About a week ago the following people have been help me with programming from translating Matlab into Mathcad on Wilson Theta Method, Werner, FM and Jamie. Now that the problem is solved, I'm trying to read in matrices Mass matrix, Stiffness matrix, Damping matrix and an external force vector into the function but get comfused with the n by n matrix into the function. Would any member of the community please see what I'm doing wrong and help me the code is below the function. I have followed Werner's work on previous worksheet. If I get this to work my goal is to solve the problem below the function on dynamic analysis for foundations. Please attached.

Dear fellow Mathcad users,   Please see attached screenshot, I am trying to find Variable rT (top row) for a given value of rR (left hand row) and a second variable called S (the numbers in the body of the table).    I think the solution will be found by initially creating a submatrix that is one row high based upon the variable in the left column, and then outputting the variable in the top row based on an interpolation of the new submatrix.  I am trying to get to that solution, but my efforts are so far in vain, (I have been trying to adapt the Mathcad example attached to my needs but no success yet).  Note that I want to linerly interpolate, and not to generate a spline.   Any help on this would be much appreciated.   Best regards, mrretsil

I use a 3D plot VBscript component inside MathCAD 15. This component has an input variable. When I put an array of several vectors (or matrices) as input variable all is OK (VB gets it as Variant and I can loop over its elements). But when the input variable is an array of only one vector (or matrix) VB gets it as Double and the value of this double is -1.#QNAN. So I can't use input variable for the next calculations.Please see attached file for reference.

I am simply trying to write a for loop that takes in an array and does some algebra on each number in the array and puts the result into a new array.    I have attached the function(num,array)  whcih take in: num=the length of the array and array=my already made array. For simplicity of working on just the loop and arrays, I have made the algrebra portion just adding the number 1 to each value in the original array being sent into the function.    Once I understand what I am doing wrong I can add in the actual math, however I'm stuck on how to make this for loop take in an array and return a new array. I know this is basic but I do not have any other instructions on mathcad other than the user manual and internet searches, however I still can't get it.    Please help. Thank you.  Brittany      

Hello, I want to insert a collapsible area in MathCAD 15 document. When I do this, the area extends from the first page to all the page to the right. Is there a way to resize the area to be confined within the page that it is inserted in?

I met some problems on calculation accuracy in MathCAD, I hope friends in this forum could help me. I really appreciate your help.

[Issue Report] Areas left border cannot be printed normally I want to print a mcdx file with area, but the left border line can't be printed normally, i have used several printer software but all cannot print ok such as: PDF Factory Pro × foxit pdf printer× microsoft print to pdf ok，but when i use microsoft print to pdf print again × The reason is left border is too thin to show clearly, i think it is software problem, could you fix it, please?

I am trying to work out how to calculate all the paths from each cell in column zero to the end column. This is part of project to calculate the remaining strength in a material.  The matrix represents a grid on the material.  Each cell in the matrix contains a measured parameter at a location on the grid. I need to calculate the sum of all the paths available from each of the cells in column zero.  The path can progress one cell up or one cell down or one cell across.  It can never go backwards.   In the attached file is a grid of 5 x 7, with fictitious data.  In reality the grids are more likely to be 20 x 40.   I can see how to do it manually but I cannot see how to do it within Mathcad.   Any direction or guidance would be appreciated.   The system will not allow me to attach a file. "The contents of the attachment doesn't match its file type", which is nonsense because it is an mcdx file.       Thank you

I know prime plotting is lacking, but is there anyway to specify which variable a set is plotted against?  In this simple example I seem to need two x's, while it is perfectly happy to stack up the y - provided it comes last.  Can I show a single x and single y on the abscissa?  4.0 attached. We are wanting to use the Hole Report Table on our drawings for holes in tubes we create in piping. However one issue we are having is that if there are more than one hole the hole location or "offset" as is shown in the table is not based off the start of the tube but off the prevous hole. This would require the person drilling the hole to add, and we cant ask them to do math. Is it possible to have the offset and angle all come off the one end point? Also we have problems if the tube is started at different end and then "connected" together the dims we get in the table are strange. That issue is hard to describe.

Good Afternoon Community,   Attached is a copy of Mathcad 15 file that I'm working on. I'm trying to convert a Matlab code into Mathcad file, I have done some work on the worksheet, but I ran into problem in converting Matlab programming into Mathcad programming. The Matlab code is at end of the worksheet. Would anybody please help me with the worksheet, my goal is to plot the time history of displacement, velocity and acceleration. Here are my operations: I install Creo 4.0 M010; I install PTC Mathcad Prime 4.0, it is success to start PTC Mathcad in Creo 4.0 M010 in Application Tab; Then i uninstall all compoents of Creo 4.0 M010, and install Creo 4.0 M020; it is fail to start PTC Mathcad in Creo 4.0 M010 in Application Tab, just like the picture below; How to repair itso that i can start PTC Mathcad in Creo 4.0 M020 in Application Tab?
