I've been doing curve fitting to the logistic function as applied to population growth.  The relevant function was miner() in the older version, but was changed in 15. What was the reason for this change?

I am very new to Mathcad and am trying to complete an assignment in which I need to calculate the number of occurrences whereby load of a system is greater than resistance. I have created my file and programme in line with my course notes but at the end am getting an error message stating that the array in my if statement is invalid. HiIs it possible to get an equation for a graph  similar to the function of excel "Trendline" in Mathscad? I would like to get the equation for differentiation purpose. Thanks

  I have been working on a document for several hours.  I set auto save at 4 minutes and got a popup every 4 minutes with the save address on it.  At the end of that time I closed the system down, came back later, opened the file and nothing had been saved.  I looked in the default save location and the file was not there either.  This is a serious problem.  I have raised the issue with my reseller but not sure what they can do.  Anyone else had this problem ?  PTC needs to look at this.  I noticed the save address on the popup said Mathcad 14.  I have Mathcad 15.  The reseller said this could be the problem but offered no solution.  

Hellow, I have made a mathcad file, whereas it is possible to calculate the basic properties of every figure, this is great for quick determination for difficult shaped beams.Starting with, X and Y coordinates as a table,  -> and then draw the figure -> calculate all possible properties (Area, moment of inertia, center of grafity etc)See underneath for Area.The calculation has been checked for many options and it works fine.But, i still think there is a more easy option for this problem. Question is;Is there a possibility to do this same calculation via intergration?  if so how?

Can someone help me with a mathcad 3.0 numerical solution for the problem attached. I need to be able to write a loop to compute the displacements, velocity, and accelerations at each time step, and then plot these graphs vs time.thanks

I am new to programming in MathCad but have done plenty of while loops in other programs. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here. Please help. I know the while loop converges because I can do it by hand in a few iterations.Thank you for anyone who has a few minutes to take a look.

I have an old (10+ years) worksheet in which I solved an apparently stiff ode using Bulstoer (without using the Jacobian). Having a reason to resuscitate the worksheet I tried rewriting it using Odesolve, which worked for loading but not for unloading (look at worksheet to see what this means). Trying the different solvers in Odesolve did not help. Can someone give me some insight into what is going on? Maybe I was just smarter 10+ years ago, but I do not think I would have hit upon using Bulstoer if I had to do it over again.

I have created a worksheet for minimization with 9 variational parameter. The running time of the calculation is seems to more than 16 hours. Is it  possible to reduce the  calculation time. I  have attached the worksheet.

I'm trying to make a function that can sort through a matrix/range and turn very high or very low values into maximum values and leave all middle values as zero. However mathcad seems to just set everything as zero despite earlier inequalities being true, is there any way to sort this?Example doc attached

I have a rather large formula that I'm trying to show with an explicit function, as it is too big I cannot do this all on one line. Is there a way to have:x= big big functionx= big big function explicit,ALL (hide left-hand side, hide key words)x= answerwithout the explicit function leaving a big space for the hidden formula?example doc attached
