Mathcad

Hi all, I am not new to MathCad and I always seem to figure out the little tricks but this one I cannot. I have also given up searching online for an answer. I have run into this problem before but I just replaced constants with values. My point is I'm not dumb I just can't find the button that fixes this problem! HahaQuestion is: Is there anyway to graph by the constants of the function? I can't think of a good way to phrase this question so here is an example.I uploaded a graph of the mass of a particle in the theory of relativity as a function of v. What I want to do is not assign m0 and c to values, but I want them to be constants so that the y intercept would be m0 and the asymptote would be c. So on the graph on the y-axis would simply be a mark m0 and on the x-axis a mark of c.Is there anyway to do this? If not can you use the markers to mark m0 and c on the graph? Seems like there should be a way to do this other than assigning m0 to a value and c to 3*10^8. Would something lik

Hi,I wanted a equation as text which should appear when a situation/ condition is satisfied.Please find attached excel sheet for the same.Below are few examples as to explain the requirement/question.Example1 :- in this example L1<z1, hence the limit of integration of I1 changes from 0 to L1 in first equation.I got the solution i.e the value of I1,  but for representation I require the equation too in the MATHCAD sheet. as shown in the example.Therefore, the value along with equation should appear on the sheet.z1=12m, z2=15m, z3=18m, z4=20m,z5=20mExample2 :- in this example z1<L1<z2, hence the limit of integration of I2 changes from z1 to L1 in first equation..Example3 :- in this example z2<L1<z3, hence the limit of integration of I3 changes from z2 to L1 in first equation.Example4 :- in this example z4<L1<z5, hence the limit of integration of I5 changes from z4 to L1 in first equationThank you for your help.

Hello,I'm trying to solve a "standard" 2D partial differential equation but the Pdesolve function gives the error: "The initial conditions are not consistent with the endpoints specified in the temporal range". I don't understand why.I also copied the Worksheet example on using Pdesolve into the file and it gives "Unknown error".I'm attaching the file in MC14.Thanks for the help.Gigi

I want to determine parameters for function "N*(Sigma^m)=10^C" by using "genfit" built-in function in Mathcad. However, in the process of calculating an error occurs. Whether it is possible to bypass this error somehow? And maybe the input data not absolutely approach under this function ("N*(Sigma^m)=10^C"), but I need to know parameters for it.

Hi !,I trying to learn the programming methods at mathcad, for that I'm triyng to make a loop to classificate a Pressure Vessel according to the fluid,Pressure, Volume. But i cant get it, if any one could help me with that.

For the solution of one of tasks I work with the handbook by author Y. Murakami - "Stress intensity factors handbook", Vol 1. I try to deal with tabular values for a choice of correction coefficient "f_1"which enters a formula for coefficient of intensity factors "K_1". Correction coefficient (on the formula given in the reference book) depends only on the "alpha" variable which represents itself the relation of the geometrical sizes, however at a choice of tabular value for correction coefficient of "f_1" one more numerical scale appears there (values in it change from size 0.000 and to 0.010). What mean these values from 0.000-0.010? I looked at all first volume of this handbook, and also reference article [8], [25], [50], but didn't find a mention of it there about these values. There are any ideas? Perhaps I missed something.

Hello !Skimming through Mathcad Express I noticed that maximum number of lines for calculation is about ten per page.Is it possible to increase it without using characters too small ? (I don't remember for the moment if in prime there's zooming...)In older versions number of lines was around 20 and I am worrying about the no of pages for my longer worksheets after conversion/rewriting them in Mathcad Prime (MP).Are still there the pages on the right in MP ? They were useful, at least for me, as "notepad" area, for "recycling" expressions, tests,...Best regards,Liv

If I convert a version 15 document to Prime the plots come over with the vertical plot labels on the left hand side.Prime launches a new plot with the label on the right.Is there a way to move the labels to the left that I haven't found?

I am trying to set up the equations for the solution of a matrix displacement problem in structural analysis, i.e., F=KU, where F = force matrix {4X1}, K=stiffness matrix {4X4}, and U=displacement matrix {4X1}.  However, Mathcad will not accept the definition of these matrices with mixed units.  Do I have to define these matrices as unitless and track the results by hand?Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, I have a system of differential equations to solve where I wish to vary an angle theta and plot responses in time waveform to show instabilities and a bifurcation diagram. I have used the same approach previously in a similar application that has solved successfully but for some reason theta is not recognized as a valid variable. Hi . Any one can help me to use the global definition in Mathcad prime. The situation is this. I have all the data in Exel sheet .  I only want to change the MATRIX INDEX as a variable. how can I get the assigned value base on the assigned matrix index ? Hi All, I have a two equations to solve and want to get the symbolic expressions of two variables. One of my variable k1 is a real number and assumed to be much larger than 1. Another variable Q6 can be either real number or have imaginary component.If no condition provided, it is a much higher order equations for k1 and Mathcad returned no solution. How can I set the conditions to "filter out" the unqualified solutions and get what I want? The worksheet is attached. Thank you!

Simple question here:Is there any way to return a row from a matrix in Mathcad 15?  Of course, there's a matrix column function, and there is a matrix row function in Prime, but I have been working in 15 for a while on a worksheet and would rather not re-create it (converter isn't recognizing 15 on my computer and therefore won't work).Thanks.
