Hi everyone,I am trying to activate a trial license for PTC Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 from Express, but I am unable to obtain the license.I successfully logged into my PTC account and completed the License Wizard. However, when I click "Acquire License", I receive the following message:"Error in License Processing. Please contact PTC License Management."No additional details are provided.I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 on Windows and trying to activate the free trial version. I have already verified my email address and can log into my PTC account without any issues.Has anyone experienced a similar problem?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been revisiting Mathcad after some time away, and I had a question about functionality that used to exist in older versions.Back when I was using Mathcad 15, I remember being able to plot vector fields (for example, visualizing a 2D vector function with arrows over a grid) fairly directly using the built-in plotting tools.Now that PTC Mathcad Prime has been around for a while and has gone through multiple updates, I’m wondering:Does the current version of Mathcad Prime support vector field plotting natively? If not, is there any recommended or standard workaround within Mathcad Prime (without exporting to other tools)? Has this feature been intentionally removed, or is it something planned for future releases?I’m especially interested in workflows comparable to what was possible in Mathcad 15, where defining a vector-valued function and visualizing it didn’t require too much manual construction.Would appreciate any insights from those who’ve worked with both versions

I can’t figure out how to adjust the scale of the y-axis.  Is this possible? (see screen capture) 

It’s easy to add the vertical line marker - but now I can’t delete it.  How is this normally accomplished? 

I have created an Excel document in which I calculated the start and end coordinates for strips. The total number of strips is 23. I generated the strip data using table options in Mathcad.Now, I want to perform the same calculation for strip start and end coordinates directly in Mathcad. Please refer to the calculation used in cell F42 in Excel. How can I replicate this equation in Mathcad?

I have purchased a key for Mathcad for an employee at my company. I purchased it with my computer. I am trying to get it set up on his and cannot find a product key anywhere on my end. There are dozens of codes and numbers but none that are titled "product key." Additionally, all support videos seem to be for older iterations of the website and do not help. Similar problem with the knowledgebase articles. Any help on setting my coworker up with Mathcad 12.0.0.0 Prime would be much appreciated. I can provide proof of purchase if need be.

Reference topicThere does seem to be a bug with Polyroots. I get the same error with the Quicksheet and a manually entered matrix of coefficients.If anyone can advise how to fix this issue  your advice would be appreciated. Ross 

Hi, I am trying to solve an ODE to model a “Ball and Cone” tuned mass damper. The equations simulate a ball mounted inside a pair of cones with mass on top. The ball oscillates up and down an inclined slope with a curved region at the apex between the up/down slopes. I am using Radau solver as it is a stiff equation. Adams/BDF “does not converge”. The 1st solve block uses a simplified simulation for base excitation of the TMD. Using Radau with modest levels of damping the first solve block result gives a discontinuous response which should not happen given the inclined slope is a tangent to the curved section at the apex. Any ideas how I can correct this discontinuity would be appreciated.I tried using sigmoid transition functions (2nd solve block) for the step between inclined slope and radius but this gives a large number error.The 3rd solve block includes an extra degree of freedom to simulate the tower on which the damper is mounted, which is the aim of the program. Attached are two images of my solve block.The example in screenshot 192200 does not work.  🥴  I am trying to define functions to be used in the equation to be solved.The example in screenshot 192321 DOES WORK.😀  I have explicitly put the functions into the equation to be solved.NOTE:  I cannot define the functions with the MATHCAD:= because I later use the solve block to compute a series of 𝛼 for a series of the parameters inside the Ans(….).Is my non working example simply not possible, or do I have some syntax or logic error? Thanks for any help.Reg

I want Mathcad Prime 11.0.1.0 to solve a simple exponential integral and it returns a limit towards infinity no matter what kind of assumptions I give it. A negative exponential should always go to 0 for x towards infinity when tau is real and positive.If instead I substitue manually a new variable x  the integral is solved correctly How can I convince Mathcad to do the same ?

I am a student  and ordered Mathcad Prime 12 Student Edition. I verified that my credit union account was charged. I followed all of the linked steps in the email I received and got an error message: Access denied - Insufficient Privileges Our records indicate that your company does not have a current PTC Global Support agreement I have phoned and emailed Cleverbridge and have not had any luck in getting them to fix this issue. They incorrectly believe I have a billing problem which I do not! I am unable to speak to anyone at PTC about this because of the logic of your automated phone answering service.

Hello, I was charged for the automatic renewal of my subscription, which I don't want. Is it possible to request a refund? My order number is 538773813. I have already canceled my subscription, and I regret that I cannot provide the activation key for my license because it was not included in my payment confirmation email.

When trying to obtain the trial version of Mathcad prime the page says that my UK phone number is invalid and will not allow me to proceed. The country is set to UK.

I’m using PTC Mathcad 10.0.0.0 (as of May 2026).  Is this the latest version?   How can I determine if there’s an update?  Where do I check?  In the software?  Somewhere on this website?   Thanks

When I try to download my licence to install the 30 days pro version of Mathcad a Server error shows up

Hi people. I followed the program and installed the student version of Mathcad but can not start it on my computer. Any advice ?
