Mathcad

Hi, I'm new to the site. Does anyone have some calculation sheet for the water & wastewater industry? Desalination? Membrane treatment? Nothing specific, but I would like to start following some examples of people with more experience than me and what kind of tools usage Are more useful for this industry.  Please, let me know! Dear all,   I am trying to convert a vector of strings vectstrn=("var1", "var2", ... , "varN") into an equivalent vector or variables vecvar=(var1, var2, ... , varN). Then I would need to assign this variable names to another vector of values already existing.   Can anyone help me with this issue?   Thanks in advance

How can I better display 3D results in matrix equations? An example in the appendix. I have tried to separate everything but it is very tedious. It is very important to me that all the results are 3D.

So i am trying to use the WriteCSV() function When my my array im writing out does not have units it seems to work When it does have units i get an error!    Please tell me i dont have to go delete all the units.

The documentation is so absurdly poor for Mathcad i cant believe i have to ask this and or cant find it on the web.   How do you access data in an array!   I want to create a simple vector and then access bits of it later!! i can not believe this syntax is not available   Array(100,100):= 0 then i simply want to read or write to say element 1X1   So i want to display   Array(1,1) =  0    And have it show zero   Why is everything 10 times harder with mathcad then it needs to be.   

Hi, I'm newbie to mathcad and i have a issue to configure a smps and i want to find the input impedance of the power supply, my problem is that the my array INC:=1;2000 doesn't work and if i put a fixed value it say's "All evaluations resulted in either an error or a complex result". Hi!Is it possible to return a plot in MC15 from a progam?Background: I have multiple excel files with data.   Using the READEXCEL i want to take the data for each file and plot a fitted curve (polyfit(X,Y,2)) for each file   I cannot find any commands to output a plot   RegardsSiggi

I don't see it in my standard license file either. Is it a combination of customer number or install site numbers? Obviously I'm having trouble getting this installed. Any help would be appreciated.   Dean

I want to simply find one thing.    I have a rather large system fo equations and I just want to find one answer.  Is there a way to put a single variable in a find statement.    So if I have a system with X1 X2 X3 ...... X100   I don't want to have to have the following.  A 100X1 := find(X1......X100) Its unmanable because all it does is run all over the page.  I used to be able to do this in prime.    I simply want to be able to find one variable.    Answer := find (X33)    How can I do this in 15?

I got a new computer and am trying to install the 30-day trial of MathCad Prime 6.0. In the license manager, when I try to log in, I get the error "The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseHeader Detail=CR must be followed by LF." I am unable to install the trial license. I found the page https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/MathCAD-Prime-MC-15-License-error/td-p/638563 that told another user with the same issue to open a case. I tried doing that, and the webpage to open a case says that the only option available to me is to post to the community. Does anyone know what this error means and how to fix it?

Dear all1.When i substitute all variables results of y(i,x) matrix in matrix and hard to plot, How can plot y(i,x) ? 2.After I can not do 1 above I try to manual by stack but Results still  Matrix in matrix,Can we automatic stack the element of matrix y(i,x) (red circle in attachment) ?3.Or you can revise my technique to better and easy? thank you  

I have defined a function to find the slope of a circular plate with a hole as a function of the radius.  I want to find the minimum slope which occurs somewhere between the inside and outside radius.  I can only use the max() function if the results are in a matrix.  The defined function is not considered a matrix in Prime.  I was going to use the WRITEPRN function (and read the values back in) but when I do that, only the last value is printed in the PRN file.  Attached is the worksheet.  Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks in advance.

I've tried searching online and here in order to find the solution for L. I'm pretty much a newbie although I should really work on that. So how in the world do I get this to find L.    I've attached my worksheet, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Hey all,   I've been using Mathcad Prime 5.0.0 for a project I was working on. I have saved the file then opened it again. When I tried printing it as a .pdf file, some error appeared and a Notepad window opened with:   %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% %%[Page: 1]%% %%[Page: 2]%% %%[Page: 3]%% %%[Page: 4]%% 60yahki not forund, using Courier. %%[Page: 5]%% 32ztacl not found, using Courier. %%[ Error: InvaliddFont; OffendingCommand: show ]%% Stack: () %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored %%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ]%%   I can tell this was caused due to the converter looking for alternative fonts to use and failing, or something like that.   My computer litereally crashed afterwards. I cannot open the file anymore, it says it is unsupported. Checked the .log file and it seems useless. File has over 2.5Mb, but opening it in a text viewer it only shows null characters. A TON of them.   Also tried 'Stuart's Worksheet', b
