Is it an error in Prime?
Currently can solve a set of equations with the solve block. This works now only because I manualy copy the summation outcome(grey area) in the solve block (green area) and set it equal to zero. If I just enter the summation of forces/moments and set it equal to zero I won't get any result presented(red highlighted). SO what goes wrong/what should I do to not have to copy the outcome every time manualy in the solve block. My file is
Hello, everyone,I met with a problem of fitting data of adsorption experiments (3 parameters - P1,P2 and P3(or beta) ), and I did it with Minerr function, but the results near 0 are needed to be improved. Could anyone teach me?the results given by Orgin is shown below.the mathcad file (ver. 11) is also attached
I am trying to plot the curves of the properties of monoethylene glycol solutions in water, working from the parametric equations given in M. Conde Engineering "Properties of Working Fluids - Brines" (http://www.mrc-eng.com/Downloads/Brine%20Properties.pdf). Ultimately, I want to show the curves cut off properly at the freezing point line, as in the Conde document, and also to be able to show index lines for a specific temperature and glycol concentration. But I am struggling to get even the curves to plot correctly. If I set up the equations using range variables for glycol concentration and temperature I get the right sort of graph but with 'flyback' lines between each curve. Here's an example, for the dynamic viscosity; the various curves are for 0%, 10%..60% glycol in water.I have found the various discussions here on plotting families of curves and waterfall curves. I am trying to follow the method illustrated by Valery Ochkov in his example sheet 2D_Plot_y_x_a.xmcdz, but I am not
Now I find that I cannot post a Mathcad file with an XML extension. It does not come up and I am told it has no style elements associated with it. Any help here would be appreciated
just consider the following matrix I want it in reverse , this way - How can i do this in math cad prime 3.1 ???
You will learn how to create a function that returns thermophysical properties of working fluids, heat transfer and energy materials using interpolation and smoothing. You will also learn what a cloud function for the thermal calculations is.Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime 3 sheets of the study in attach.
I'm attaching a prime 3.1 file . In which i tried to interpolate two sets of data to make a smooth curve like Excel plotting . But the curve is not so smooth , like what I'm expecting .
Hey guys, with the help of Werner i could manage my Iterative Calculation Routine. Now i need to extend my work. What i would need:2 Parameter Variation of "F" and "ME" with a well defined Calculationstep of those 2 parameters. For Example:Calculate FAmax with ME=0 ---> Iterationstep for FA = FAmax/40Calculate MEmax with FA=0 ---> Iterationstep for ME = Memax/40Now those 2 Iterationsteps should applay to the "2 Parameter Variation"The Results should then be written in a Matrix so that i can export the results to excel.I think i only need a small add in to my Programm, what i have now.Maybe anybody can help meCalculating the Iterationstep should be possible with my mathcad program as i have now:Calculate FAmax with ME=0 ---> Iterationstep for FA = Scalingfactor x FAmaxCalculate MEmax with FA=0 ---> Iterationstep for ME = Scalingfactor x MEmaxScalingfactor should be choosable!Next step: Mathcad should perform a Iterative Calculation for every c

Hi, I am looking for molecular weights functionality in Prime 3?Can anyone assist me. am looking for a function in MathCAD Prime, t@hat will give me the atomic or molecular weights of elements or molecules
What`is mean the TOL & CTOL? How can i fix it?
I'm trying to build a table column by column and I'm getting the "A name is required here" error. I've double checked to make sure that I'm using the literal (".") and vector ("[") subscripts correctly to the best of my knowledge. I've set my origin to 1 at the top of my sheet. I've searched and can't find anything to help.Any help and solutions are appreciatied.
I have been using a spreadsheet in Math Cad 6 that worded fine for years. Upgraded to Prime 2 and the spreadsheet no longer solves the find command in a solver block. What can I do to remedy?? The find command has an error statement that the variable is undefined. Can't seem to be able to cut and paste into this doc
Hello,Previously the license it was working on the physical machine running on Windows 7 and have been requested for generate new license for the new license server. After I have receive new generated license for new hostname and mac address. and tried to install it on the license server it keeps telling me error ptc_d: The desired vendor daemon is down. and FlexNet Licensing error:-97,121.My license server environment is on Windows server 2008 running on VMWare. and there is other 4 licenses flexnet also running on the same server. Please let me know how to fix this issue?thank you.
Somehow I came to this error making this problem to work, could anyone help me out fix this please.
Please tell me how can i solve it?
Can anybody tell me why "atan" doesn't work? Or what mistake I made ?
Hi, I'm using PTC Mathcad Express Prime 3.1 for my UNI work.Unfortunately, I hate using Tahoma as my default text font. Is there a way to permanently change the default text and math fonts to something like Cambria Math?
Hello all, I am currently working on a project involving calculations for a Helmholtz resonator and I got stuck with not achieving the proper units in the final results. below are the starting formula and a snap shot from the MathCad project. As you can see, numerically it checks out. The numbers are right, this is what it is supposed to show.However... L units should be mm, not m/s. If I run out individual calculus, multiplying or dividing.. somehow it looses up the degree unit. it only shows 1/s instead of deg/s. Also took into considerations that it might be thinking in radians therefore I added that 180/pi.Also, the plot seems to be a bit off also. Why is the n coordinate going from 1000 to 1900 to 2800...etc instead of 1000, 2000, 3000 how I defined it?However, for the purpose of calculus and further use of those resulting values, I need my L to be in mm. Any ideas on how to fix this? What am I doing wrong?Thank you for your time and help!Cheers.Dan.
Hello everyone. I have a problem with a difference method, shown here below. (The results are different from those of the text). Some of you could kindly say me if I'm wrong or the text is wrong? thanks a lot.Yours sincerely F. M.
Hey guys,i modified my iterative calculation and it is better to work with that functions and variables.Having now the problem, that the calculation for the second row is not correct. It should be an independend calculation for every loadcase with a different maxiter. And the second example is not working. Can anyone see the failure?THx guys
