Is it possible to create a minimize function comparing each entry of a vector to a single number and then outputting a vector with each entry being the smaller of the two valves? The attempts in the attached worksheets (Prime 3.1 and Mathcad 15) only find the minimum between the entire vector and single value instead of comparing them line by line.
Hi All,I am new to this community. Forgive me if my question has been answered somewhere.I have a 2D data set, but the sampling points are not on the regular Cartesian grid.I would like to rearrange the sampling point by interpolation and generate a new table with Cartesian grid.It looks MatLAB or IDL guys use a function called “griddata”. However, when I make a surface plot or contour plot, MathCAD is interpolating the scattered data and making Cartesian data set. So the MathCAD already have something equivalent to griddata.I am wondering if someone know MathCAD function or routine which does something equivalent to griddata.
Is it possible to set up your own file, as *.HBK file, and make your own Mathcad Electronics Book? Please advise.
Hi to allI try to see bode and phase plot of flyback converter in DCM mode on MATHCAD 15After write equations i can see all result is ok.My problem is, i don't know how can i understand crossover frequency on 0db? I don't know which equation i can use to give this frequency?
Is it possible to have literal prime, " ' " on a variable, not part of the derivatives. Please advise.
Is it possible to use the minimum function to create a vector of the minimum line-by-line between of two or more vectors?Edited to include Mathcad 15 version
In the attached Mathcad Prime 3.1 worksheet I am attempting to determine the valve of c such that the vectors Fs and C add to zero. This requires the use of vectors in the solve block, is this possible?
Hello,I recently downloaded Mathcad Prime 3.0 Express and used it to create a calculation note. However, I am unable to print my document, paper or pdf. When I do so, I only get a single blank page.Is it possible to print document with the Express version? Does it work only with the full version? Thanks for your help!
I was wondering if someone could please show me the correct format for using a solve block to solve a system of differential equations in Mathcad Prime 3.0.Thanks
I have the following example matrix:1 2 30 0 00 0 04 5 67 8 9 0 0 01 1 1I'm trying to write a function that processes this matrix to eliminate Zero values, such that result is:\1 2 34 5 67 8 91 1 1Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,Matt
I'd like to know, if it's possible to export Formulas from MathCAD to Microsoft Word 2013.Thanks
I have Prime 3.0. When I try to READEXCEL all I get is this It is not reading data in to matrix. Can someone help? Thanks in advance
I was working on Mathcad yesterday and suddenly it got REALLY slow by opening other documents and trying to copy and clip other equations. Why??? I am going on a examination tuesday, NOT what i need right now.I tried to reinstall - does not help, and it is not because the files are to large or anything. What should i do??
I just installed Matchcad Prime 3.1 on my computer. However, to convert my older mcd files the converter states it needs MatchCad 15 installed. I down loaded the Mathcad 15 file but it crashes when you run the setup.exe. It states one of the dll files was not made to run on widows. I am using Windows 8.
Reference message Online Encyclopedia of Integers (OEIS) Sequence A256275The Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences® (OEIS®)) only accepts entry information in text format. This creates a bit of a problem for Mathcad entries.Mathcad is rare in that it only has a "Math Form" input and display, with (for example) summation being represented by Sigma (Σ) with underscript and overscript notation for the variable and initial value (k=1) and final value (n), respectively; similarly, expressions such as 2^(n^2) and (a+b)/(c+d) can be written and displayed without the need for parentheses to disambiguate them from 2^n^2 and a+b/c+d. However, there is no universally agreed method of conveniently writing down a Mathcad expression that is readily meaningful for both Mathcad and non-Mathcad users. Keystrokes are one method for Mathcad users but they don't "show" the expression, and don't give much insight into an expression; they do, how
I am trying to use an Excel component to look up values for MathCAD calculations. I have been unable to get any sort of momentum, because MathCAD keeps returning the error "The range value specified is invalid." whenever I try to include an output variable. From two variables, exposure category and height, I want to look up a value for kz using the table. I am using MathCAD 15.0, and Excel 2013. MathCAD Help is no use, because that error message isn't even listed as a potential error message.
OK, I successfully imported .csv file into Mathcad Prime using READCSV. My .csv file contains a table, one column are dates and another are numbers, there also a spurious empty columns.I have no idea how to deal with dates, but my primary interest is second column with numbers. But problem is, Prime interprets the whole csv table as matrix of string values, despite of numbers on second column are well-formed.I tried str2num function, but it refuses to do the job, probably due non-scalar input. How do I pre-process this column to finally start my real calculations? As a bound, could anyone please advise on dates in the following format: "2010-06-26",...Thank you.
i'm doing a calculation where the units cancel out in an exponential equation. However, MathCad will not evaluate the equation because the value is unitless. Is there a way to turn off units in a calculation? If not, is there a way to get around this error? Thanks
I've just had Sequence A256275 accepted for inclusion in the Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (OEIS) - see https://oeis.org/A256275. Hello, this is my first time asking a question!I have had a problem trying to turn my Mathcad worksheets into PDF's for easier readability. When I try and "print" my worksheets as PDF's all of the text gets shifted to the left causing some information to be cut off. The strange thing I have noticed is that the page in which my cursor is clicked in will be formatted fine, but every other page will have the same error of my margins being shifted.I have tried using Adobe PDF and Foxit PDF, both leading to the same error. I am using Mathcad Prime 3.1, but I checked that the same error occurs in Prime 2.0I would really appreciate any help you have to offer, Thank you!
Re Fibonacci Numbers and d'Ocagne's Identity.PNGIt's possible to modify the symbolic display to show the middot character for multiplication and use Math Styles to use Wingdings characters (tick and cross) to indicate whether the equality is true.Stuart
Hello!I'm doing an electrical engineering calculation in Prime 3.0 which amongst other parameters involves a timespan. This timespan is rather lengthly (tens of hours), so having input using flat SI second is really a mess.So currently I have to use an intermediate engineering calculator to convert stopwatch readout to hours. Is there a way to have Mathcad Prime to accept human style timespan expressed in HH:MM:SS?Thank you.
Hello all,I am currently trying to solve two simultaneous equations and they are dependent on multiple variables . I could not solve them and simultaneously and also have to use the output of them to make an input for other and try to iterate and optimise it . I have removed all the units as I was facing problem with a couple of them . so just I m working with plain numbers .Can some one please help me ..I am kind of on intermediate level in mathcad primeNitin
Hi all,I have some problems with an equation that tried to describe the displacement in x direction of a piston moved by a constant pressure. On the opposite side, to counter the movement, I have:the mass loada springthe inertiaa counter-pressure that is function of the velocity at square.I'm not able to resolve the equation.I've removed the units of measure in the eventuality they could interfere in the process.I use MC 15.Regards
This is the first of some similar oscillators developed in the nineties with one of the erlier mathcad versions. It is composed of an opeartional amplifier in non-inverting configuration and a T bridge as a positive feedback network.
