Mathcad

Hello all, very new to mathcad, running express prime 3.0 on a trial.I would like to find the intersection of some curves that are already on a plot. I don't have the functions of the curves or lines (lines would be straightforward to find). I've read previous posts that use the solver block method, however as I do not have the equations for the curves, I believe that this is not possible (could be wrong.)How can I find the point of intersection for this given plot? (see image)

Hi,I have trouble with mathcad 14 because it doesn't solve a Matrix. I want to work with a 10x45 matrix and mathcad do nothing. When I try to traspose the 10x45 matrix, mathcad just show "=" and two little black boxes. However when I create, for example, a 5x4 matrix, in that case mathcad does solve it.Maybe some of you have had the same porblem and could help me. Thanks

We need to do an optical model that creates an exponential or linear taper based on cross sectional diameter over length. I was hoping that this would help with this, but I haven’t spent much time on it yet.

I am having difficulties with case 1a - 1d in table 24. Things start to fall apart when I enter dimensions for a circular plate that has radii smaller than 1 inch. The deflection at the inner and outer radius can't be calculated.Am I doing something wrong? Is this a limitation based on the assumptions? i have attached screenshots for your reference.

Hello,in the attached sheet, please scroll down to the red arrow. When i used the Find function, i can find the root, but when i try to do it with the "root" function i get an error. if i change the guess value to .0001, i will get an answer. But this answer is incorrect because the correct answer is what you get with the Find function which is .0021273. The reason why i am using the root function so i can assign the answer to a variable. I tried to assign the Find function value to a variable, it does not let me unless i dont know how to do it. Is there a better and accurate way to do this w/o worrying about convergence? Thanks!

I'm posting this in the hope that someone at PTC will read it. This is the current list of discussions under "Mathcad":Look at the number of views. "Mathcad 15 compatibility with Windows 8" is closing on 20,000 views. I don't see any discussion about "Mathcad Prime compatibility with Windows 8". I hope that tells you something. Further down, "Where is all the legacy Mathcad stuff (Electronic Books, Add-ons for Mathcad 8, 2000, 2001, 2001i)?" has more than 8000 views. I do believe there is another message there. No other discussions come close to the number of views these two have.

I have been testing Prime 3 in the hope Prime will become usable. When I launch the program I get the following error message:"The program can't start because ppp.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"I have reinstalled Prime 3 and still get the error message. Prime 3 does run after I click OK on the error message. MathCAD help has not been able to assist with the resolution of the error. Has anyone else seen this message.?Regards,

I'm doing Microeconomics. Sometimes i need to solve with delta, but when im trying to solve with delta on PTC, it doesn't work.Im sure, im setting the calculation up right, but i just don't know how to use the deltas right. My classmate that uses a program called wolframe alpha, and it works when she's setting it up the same way on that program.
