I have just bought the mathcad student edition and never recieved the product code.

My laptop that had downloaded MATHCAD has broken and im trying to move my license over to my main PC, is there a way to do this without creating a new account?

I have trouble with different versions on my school computers and on my own laptop. I myself have MathCad version 10.0 (free verion) and my school computers has 7.0. Now I can't open files on the older version that I have edited on my own laptop. Is there a way to download older versions of MathCad. I tried it from MathCad Express Free Download but there was no option to select older versions of mathcad to be downloaded.Thank you in advance!

I have switched Operating System from Windows to Linux. I need Mathcad for school work, so I Virtualized a Windows Machine on my Laptop. I now wanted to install Mathcad on this new Virtualized Windows machine, but when trying to activate the licence, I get an error message that I have too many licence requests for this licence. I guess because I already activated the new licence on the old machine, it now is fixed to that one? I tried activating it via the sw_licence_email_######.dat file I got send on my account email weeks ago when activating on the old machine, but this also didn't work. The error message here is: The licence request failed. Requesting MathcadPrime ... C:\Users\user\Downloads\sw_license_email_######.dat: (-9) Invalid HostHelp or info would be appreciated.Thank you for support

Hi! It's happening with both Prime 8 and 9 on Windows 11. In my case, I have no log file and no error on the Windows event viewer. I got the splash screen and nothing else. I tried all the solutions above and had no luck. Any ideas? Thanks! 

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownWe have several licenses for MathCad Prime 10.0.0, and were told that these should apply to the old MathCad 15 version as well. Is this correct? If so, how can we download and activate MathCad 15.0?

I have used the .dat license file that I got in the email for 30 days free trial version. Although I call it and configure it, status says in red full functionality-29 days remaining but it doesn't allow me to modify anything in the file

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0We had a group recently convert their files from MathCAD 15 to Prime and they are experiencing latency and performance issues. It now takes several minutes to perform the calculations.Also, this was reported by one power user - one alarming thing is that sometimes it takes multiple minutes to finish calculating the worksheet, but what I thought was a status indicator turns back to green before it is even done calculating (So I've either misinterpreted what that icon is, or its not working correctly)

Good morning, everyone. I came across an issue regarding the floating license file for MATHCAD PRIME 10. I got a license for MATCAD Prime from my school (HTL Spengergasse, Vienna) but I have a big problem. I have redeemed the MATCAD license too often and on too many different devices - Today I wanted to download MATCAD Prime on my work device and redeem the license because I need the program for today's math class, but now I get an error message that goes something like this: "You have redeemed the license too often and reached the limit, if you have any further questions contact PTC Support". I then did some research and found out that you have to deactivate the license on the other devices so that you can redeem the license on the new device again, but that's the problem: I redeemed the MATCAD Prime license on my Macbook Air m2 in a virtual machine that no longer exists - so I can no longer deactivate the license.
