Mathcad Installation

Recently I have been having an issue where MathCAD Prime will nto run on my PC anymore. It loads the splash screen and then nothing happens afterwards. Looking at the task manager, a PTC MathCAD process begins but disappears when the splash screen disappears. I have followed the steps in the other relevant forum posts (below) and contacted PTC technical support for help with this issue but the only fix was to completely reinstall windows. Uninstall/Reinstall does not help, nor does copying config files from a PC where the software is still working. Does anyone know how to speed up MCP for processing large data sets? I am working with a 50832x14 size data set that is output in Excel from another program. I would prefer to filter, sort, and manipulate the data in MCP vs Excel. However, trying to execute a simple filter step in MCP on a data set this large has proven impossible. I can't get the function to complete (endless spinning wheel). Whereas I can complete this one step in Excel in about 1sec. Does anyone know how to speed this up? Or any other tricks for processing large data sets in MCP? I would really, really prefer to avoid Excel but at this point I have to use it. Thanks!

Now I have a newer/replacement computer and I am trying to install my copy of Mathcad 14.0. I started the install process on my new computer. And it is asking for the version 8 product code. So I looked at the email and since i'm on the student version, it tells me that I need to send my student id and a proof of scholarity but there is no email mentioned for me to send it. Where do i send it? And is that why I can't activate my liscence key?
