Hello, I have a perpetual license for Prime 2.0 but do not have the installation file. I see that it is no longer available for download but I need to install the software on a new hard drive. I do have the license file, I just need the software.I can't find any way to email support directly with this request, can anyone help?Thanks in advance.

Good evening! There was such a problem.I'm a student. I have MathCAD Prime 8.0.0 installed. I used the trial version, and unfortunately it ended. It turns out that I need to purchase the paid version, right? And there is another problem, I'll be honest, to use this program, I created a new account every time. Now, when I receive a trial version, namely a license, a window pops up that I have received the maximum number of licenses for this program. What should I do?

I have a current node locked license for Mathcad PTC 8.  I hear version 9 is out.  Although, I have a link for the trial version of Mathcad PTC 9 - I would rather use my license.  But, I can't seem to find a way to download the non-trial version of Mathcad PTC 9.    Is there a single link for this?

I need to transfer my license (PTC Mathcad Express) to another computer, as I have to return the one I am currently using. I know that there is a procedure to do this, which requires the Product Code and the HOST ID of the new computer. I was provided with a license for my 30 days trial, but I can't find a product code within the file that I received. Can somebody please help? Thanks

I have the professional version of Mathcad Prime 8.   However, when I remote login to my PC Mathcad Prime runs in express mode (feature limited + has water mark across the page).   Is there a work around for this? I did notice that if I happen to have opened Mathcad Prime at my PC desk, and then remote login at a later time, Mathcad runs normally (no feature limitations or watermarks).    I just have to remember to start Mathcad Prime first - if I plan to remote login later.   Maybe there's a better way?

I'm trying to open old Mathcad files that have the extension formats xmcdz, xmcd, and mcd. However your current version of Mathcad Express Prime 9.0.0.0 doesn't seem to be able to open these old formats. What do I need to do to be able to open and convert these old files into the new version.Your assistance is much appreciated.

Issue: Error "Conversion failed. My PC was hacked and I had to rebuild it.I was trying to reinstall the free user version and it tells me the number of licenses has been exceeded.I am retired and I love to solve problems using this tool. I have been a user for a lot of years before I retired.

Hello, trying to install version Mathcad 8.0 but if double klick the setup.exe file it shows that something is loading, but at the end nothing happens. Then tried to install from the .msi file, it downloads some tools but at the end it doesn't work either. Funny things is that the Mathcad 7.0 Version Installation works.So whats the problem? idk

I had problems with the setup crashing because kernelbase.dll as I found out in the Manage My computer My path/username contains the Swedish letter 'ö' :  ...but when I moved the extracted install-zip for MathcadPrime 9 directly to c:\ and tried to install it worked fine!Setup now runs smoothly. So be aware of any local charachters in the installation-path!  

Good afternoonI`ve received License file on my email but I don`t understand how to apply it. When I use .dat file for activate nothing happens. I still see "29 days left".How fix it?

When installing Mathcad Prime, in the third window the application selection menu is empty. I've run the .exe file as administrator and the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated. 

Hi,We have an old LMTools running providing an license for MathCad 11.I would like to transfer the license to a new supported server, but I'm stuck with the license file itself.I did manage to start the license server, but I'm receiving an error: (mathsoft) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)I cannot find any contract, customer nr or anything, so I cannot create a case with PTC.Can anyone help to transfer the license to a new server?Thank you     

PTC must have the most user-unfriendly support site I have seen. I want to check the expiration date of my current Mathcad support agreement, and even after logging into my account at tpc.com/support I cannot find that information. How can I check the date? If I look at the "extra" license file, it has an expiration date of 30-APR 2023.  Is that the same as the expiration date of my support agreement or does the license file have a grace period? Victor Roberts   

I have a permanent license for Mathcad Prime 3.1.  My laptop motherboard on this computer failed.   I've replaced the motherboard and can no longer use Mathcad.  When trying to get another license, I can't, since the software on the PTC site indicates that my product code is incorrect.   I'm currently retired (2016), and would like to get this working.   I'm not paying support, since I'm happy with the current versions Mathcad 15 and Prime 3.1.   Can someone guide me to the right person/contact? Thanks!Larry Callis 

Recently I have been having an issue where MathCAD Prime will nto run on my PC anymore. It loads the splash screen and then nothing happens afterwards. Looking at the task manager, a PTC MathCAD process begins but disappears when the splash screen disappears. I have followed the steps in the other relevant forum posts (below) and contacted PTC technical support for help with this issue but the only fix was to completely reinstall windows. Uninstall/Reinstall does not help, nor does copying config files from a PC where the software is still working. I am unable to acquire a new license for Mathcad express after changing the laptop. With no access to license management, how do I get an updated license with the new Host ID?

I am trying to download my licensed issue of Mathcad . Clicking 'download' link takes me to the page to select the version I want. The only version available is PTC mathcad Prime 8.0 Student Edition - datecode 8-0-0-0 - which then states is 'unavailable'........ Thank you.
