Mathcad Installation

Dear PTC Support,I am a student at the Linzer Technikum (HTL Linz, Austria), using a full educational license provided by the school.I am unable to activate Mathcad Prime when I use my personal laptop outside the school environment (on a different home network/internet connection).The license activation fails with the error: "(-9) Invalid host." (License status "Ungültig" / Invalid).Steps taken and results:Using the License File: The license file (...sw_license_email_738123.dat) fails because it appears to be tied to a specific network/host ID present only at the school.Using the License Key: I have attempted activation using my assigned license key, but it resulted in the same error. I can provide the key privately. This also results in the same "Invalid host" error and the key then becomes invalid (or tied to the incorrect Host ID).Key Issue:This is happening on the exact same laptop. Dear PTC Community, I have Mathcad-11 from the 1990's, & I need to reinstall it after a HDD failure. However, PTC (Mathsoft) doesn't run their license server anymore & therefore, the product cannot be activated. Can someone please assist ?

Need installation file for Mathcad Prime 10. I have version 11 but I need to share files with a client that is using version 10.

Hi, This does not help. The download link takes me to the email request form. There is no option to choose the version. I need to install version 10. I have version 11 but I need to share files with  a client that is using version 10.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Issue occurs using Mathcad Prime v9.0 and printing a file to PDF using either Adobe PDF or Bluebeam PDF.When PDF-ing Mathcad Prime files that use "Areas," which are collapsible containers for portions of the file, the contents of the Area are printed as raster images instead of text. This is problematic for several reasons:1. Rasterized text is not word-searchable or selectable2. File size balloons considerably compared to text3. The PDF takes much longer to print since the text must be converted to raster by the PDF distiller.Is there a workaround or has this issue been addressed in newer releases of Mathcad Prime?

I tried to download the Mathcad Express version but I dont recieve the email with the installation file. I've checked junk mail and filters and there is nothing there.Thanks,Peter

I went from one broken PC to another, and I can't get a license on the new PC. I tried the website to obtain a license, and I got "you have reached the maximum number of licenses". I can't open a ticket because I don't have permission for an ID. What an absolute runaround. I will never recommend this product to my employer. Please fix this or give me my money back. I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.1.0I am trying to draw a contour plot for a publication paper. I drew the contour plot but when I export the plot to the paper after reduction to fit a double columns format paper the fonts of the contour plot axes and the legend font are too small and not readable. I tried many things and could not find a way to control the font size of the plot and legend. Need guide what to do.Here are the errors that I facedNo error message.

I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownMathcad has not been opening for the past two weeks (no error message appears). The issue seems to be that the required file MSXML 4.0 SP2 was removed for security reasons, as it is outdated. The IT-department does not allow the file MSXML 4.0 SP2. Is there any workaround for this problem?

I can't download MathCad Prime 11. It says, there were no support avaiable. However, we paid the bill in March 2025.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.1.0I'm a system administrator needing to upgrade Mathcad Prime for our engineers. They are currently running version 9 so I have downloaded version 11. It appears I also need to upgrade the licensing server. Can you point me to the steps I need to take to upgrade licensing server? Will I need a new license key.

I purchased 3 licenses, in the name of MAYORISTA DE PARTES Y OPCIONES, but they are for my client SOUTHERN PERU COPPER CORPORATION.
