I recently installed and configured ThingWorx RTPPM, and while setting up the Operations Dashboards, I encountered an issue where only Availability is being calculated. The OEE, Performance, and Quality metrics are not being calculated and are displaying 0, even though other aspects of RTPPM seem to be functioning correctly.Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any suggestions on troubleshooting this? Any guidance on what to check next would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have configured RTPPM, the downtime status and production and waste counter are the remote properties which is expected from Kepware.   Can we keep those properties as "Binding: None" and update values from service? How frequently the downtime status and part count (total production, waste count) updated in operator dashboard?   PM @mstarnaud 

Hello All,I am currently using AMU and have configured some alarms on the equipment, which are being triggered as expected. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the Alarm Reports. When I apply the "This Shift" or "Last Shift" filters, the alarm count shows as 0. On the other hand, when I select the "Today" filter, the alarm count is displayed correctly. Please help in understanding why the count is not appearing for the shift-based filters?Regards,Aishwarya Patil

Hi there, I'm currently working with ThingWorx RTPPM and have a question about the MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) metrics. Specifically, I'm curious about how RTPPM determines what is considered "maintenance" for the MTTR calculation.The MTTR metric refers to the total maintenance time. In my case, I have RTPPM configured to track downtime only. How does RTPPM know what events or activities should be classified as maintenance? Does it differentiate between different types of downtime, or is there a specific configuration needed to ensure accurate maintenance tracking? And similar question for MTBF metric. What is consider operational time? How does RTPPM know. Additionally, I'm also interested in understanding how uptime is calculated in the RTPPM KPI Overview Report. Could someone explain the calculation method for uptime in this report? Any insights or experiences with this would be greatly appreciated! Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)M

Hi there, I have a data tag that return sting values that I am using as my status for an asset. I changed the values for the RunningValues_MCC  from [1,'1',true,'true'] to [1,'1','on','ON']. But when I status attribute changes to ON. The timer is displaying DOWN. Not sure if I should be changing something else.  Thank you for your help and time with this. Hope you had a good New Year 🙂

In RTPPM, I have configured following models by simulating tags from Kepware. Models Configuration Downtime Model Production Model Waste Model Job Order Model Product Change Model   But, I have an usecase. I have machine running status from Kepware. The partcount, product is manually fed in to the system. Then how to configure RTPPM to support completely manual mode? And, I have only Product not Job Order. 

Hi there I am trying to add the Thingshape PTC.FSU.AMU.MonitoringCardConfiguration.AssetCard_TS to my AMU asset. (Then known bug) but I get the following error for multiple assets:Save failed: A Name Conflict Has Been Detected With Property AMUAttribute9DisplayName_MCC in Thing OC24620-Furnace-AMU. I checked the assests and they only have 1-2 attributes not 9 attributes. Also the error ranges from  differs AMUAttribute[1-9]DisplayName_MCC

Hi there,I have a general question about changing the scan rate from 60000 ms to 1000 ms.  I want to change it because I see that there is a delay (about 30s to 1 min) of updating RunningMCC_Status. Then the attributes I display go out of sync with the timer displayed on the AMU card.  I notice that there is almost no delay when I change the scan rates of the attribute I have assigned as the asset status. Is changing the scan rate a bad idea? I guess what is the cons/pros if I do change the scan rate ?

Hello All,How to configure alarm on derived property as in AMU, as only properties displayed while alarm configuration, is the property configured during AMU configuration? For example, I have created a new property in ThingShape which is added in Asset Thing Template, and I am setting value in it using subscription and want to create Alarm on that value, is there any OOTB solution in AMU.  

Hi,   In CWC, I see '_ap' tables in the database. I remember back in 2021, I could add the custom columns _ap in manufacturing apps, and there was documentation of steps to add customer fields/columns from thingworx composer in _ap tables.   Can someone share the importance of _ap tables? Why and how are they used?Thanks,

 For some reason my downtime kpi is not showing up. I configured the downtime model and added the shift event to the machine and ran the KPI Engine sql query. And the availability isn't showing up. I check the timeslice table to see if there is data but it's empty. There is entries in timesliceschedule table. I am not sure where I went wrong. I am using binding to an AMU property instead of a tag because how we are tracking of this machine is on or off is based on a temperature range. So I made a AMU attribute/property called status that returns "Running" or "Stopped " when the temp changes. I configured status with a DummyTag with an address of S0050 and use a service to update the status to return the "Running" or "Stopped" based the datachange event of the  AMU attribute/property called Temp. Where is the location in CWC UI where we can see the bill of material. the service ImportBOM_END on the thing PTC.FSU.CORE.Product.EndPoint_TG in CWC shows success message. But I am unable to see the BOM. Also, in the route manager, I get the message that no Bill of material is assigned for the product.

RTPPM Production Quantity attribute is linked to machine's consumed tag. This tag value can be reset by the operators during shift change or any other reason. When tag value s reset, Total Production Quantity increases by 9999999, which is "TagResetValue" of  "ProductionByTagAndTime_AttributeProperties" property. How can I prevent this?Also when I enter a MaximumMachineRate value, Production Value never increases. That's why I'm not using it.

Is it possible to resuse process steps in work instructions ? Like there are standard steps (ex: Clean the station, etc) which occurs in almost all work instructions. Can we create a standard library for such operations ?

Hi,I''m trying to use DPM and Analytics, thingworx and extensions are 9.6.When opening the Area Settings under administration page, after selecting an area from the tree, nothing is loaded.The configuration data is the sample excel sheet provided on the import tool extension for DPM.I've done the configuration provided on the Help Center.Is there any additional configuration needed additional to those on the mentioned page of help center?The error logs and pictures attached.  

Hi,I'm doing an installation of DPM to see how it works.I'm using Thingworx Foundation and DPM version 9.5.0, I'm also using the import tool from GitHub, which I've tried version 9.5.2 and 9.5.1 (I thought the problem could be here because the missing ThingShape described below is PTCDTS and the tool shows up with PTCDTS in the installed extension page) I have not installed analytics and I understand  that's an optional.I do know that the import tool has no official support. Here what I've done.Done all the steps at DPM Customer Deployments section on DPM help center. Imported DPM, it showed the warn of a attempt to modify a default mashup (seems ok).Imported the DPM import tool from github, ptcdts.dpmdataimport-1.2.103-extension-package.zip  and ptcdts.dpmexport-1.2.103-extension-package.zip (currently installed 9.5.1).Then, as per guide, executed the service on PTC.Base.Manager, output had no errors.Imported the sample .xlsx with no m

I get "Adjustment of Production Quantity Failed" error on Operator Dashboard when I want to add "1" to OK quantity, where the counter is already "0".Related script error:"MnfgCommonProductionEventManagementThingShape - AdjustProductionQuantity_PRD: AdjustProductionQuantity failed with Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression."
