Other Creo Products (View/Sketch/Illustrate/Layout/ Schematics and Creo Direct)

I am working on a specific module which is a part of an bigger assembly. I simply don't want to waste the time and open the entire assembly every time. So I'm trying to select the only impacted CAD modules and work on them in CreoView.When I open these individual CAD modules in CreoView, the CAD modules are not getting mated together at their designated locations like they would when I open the bigger assembly, but instead they are appearing at distant places from each other as if they have their own co-ordinate system.It is not taking/remembering the distances it was assembled in the bigger assembly.When I open from WindChill, I just type in the CAD module number and search them and open a new session in CreoView. I then open the neighboring CAD module (which gets mated to the previous one) from WindChill and when I add them to the session in which our previous CAD module is present, it doesn't get mated at all. Im only using CreoView and want to understand how I can get the

Hello, I recently finished a 3-D CAD design utilizing mechanisms and animations from Creo Parametric. I wanted to ask if there would be away for me to utilize this animations and import it to Creo illustrate mainting both the motor movement and constraints used? Thank you.

See the attached screenshot.  I've reinstalled CREO view several times, checked the checksum, I really dont know what to do here. It's incredibly unreadable. Is there somewhere i can try an older version of CREO view?

Are combined state descriptions available in Creo View and Is it possible to add a column to the Viewables tab to display them? 

I'm working with my IT dept to try and install Creo View en masse and they are asking for a .msi file. Is there a way too get one? The default download on PTC Support is just the .exe in a ZIP. Has anyone done a mass install of Creo View? Any recommendations for tackling this?  Trying to install V11.1

Hello! My team is looking into the Sectioning tools of Creo Illustrate.  We are running Windows 11 mostly with Illustrate 11.1 While reading through the Documentation, we found this page To View the Section in 2D ViewIt refers to a "Show 2D View" button in the ribbon menu in the Sectioning tab, then the Setup group.  Looking at my Creo Illustrate, I see no such button there. I figured it may be hiding, so I went into the ribbon customization menu, and looked for "Show 2D View", as well as looking at everything tool in the Sectioning Category.  I couldn't find anything   Would someone be able to let me know how me and my team can access the Show 2D View feature for sectioning in Creo Illustrate?  I'm probably missing something. Thanks!

Hello all,I wanted to ask how you handle additional 2D symbols such as arrows, annotations and other image additions. I am thinking about creating a whole range of helpful 2D symbols. For example, all kinds of arrows and also a bin. I find that helpful sometimes. Of course, such things can be done later with another tool during further image processing, but we would like to do the complete image creation in CI if possible. My questions:1. how do you deal with this issue?2. is it possible to rotate inserted 2D symbols? This would be very helpful for arrows.3. is it possible to change the order of the inserted 2D symbols. The last 2D symbols inserted overlap the previous ones, and sometimes rearranging them would be helpful. Thanks and best regardsRamon  

In Creo Schematics 11.0, when placing a Block shape on a block diagram sheet first, run a report, select place artifact, and then place the Wiring shape on a wiring diagram sheet, the software does this properly.   When you have a wiring shape placed first, and then place the block shape next, the software does not show the block shape of that artifact. Only the label is displayed, but the shape's outlines are not displayed. I can click and drag/select the artifact and the properties can be seen in the parameter panel. I have tried updating all sheets, restarting the program, but still does not display. No Error is displayed.Not sure if this has anything to do with it but when I look at J1(NO GOOD) and J2(GOOD) in the model explorer, J1 does not have the 2 block ports (for this shape the ports are named BLOCK and MATE) but J2 does.

Hi Everyone, I am new to Creo View and trying to achieve the same in Creo View 10. Does anyone have a documentation link to do the same job viz, embed a Creo View control object to Any office Application? I do see that we have adapters/ Creo View toolkit for Office. But I am not sure where o start. I am using Creo Schematics Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0Check connections tool reports missing connection on one of my blocks. The fiber appears to be attached, but when trying to reattach, the line jumps to the bottom left corner of the screen and reports error Internal Error 002. The only work around I have found is completely deleting the fiber, and rerunning it, but this does not necessarily fix the missing connection error.Check database reports no errors.Here are the errors that I faced>>>> error <<<<Internal Error (002) occurred. Use the Check Database tool and contact technical support for assistance.

Hi All, My team is newly adopting Creo Illustrate.  I have ~5 years of experience with it myself. The issue we are running into relates to the newer feature of setting a Font for callouts and such.   The font in our company has in its branding is Roboto Condensed.  We have downloaded this font from Googlehttps://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto+Condensed Within the Windows Control Panel, we made sure to only install Roboto Condensed Regular 400.  We noticed if you have multiple versions of a font, it is challenging to tell Creo Illustrate which one to use.  We ensured it was the TTF version of the font.Within the Admin Tool, we set the font to Roboto Condensed.Inside Creo Illustrate, we built up callouts on our models.  The font displayed correctly, as Roboto Condensed Regular.  Now we have our issue.  When I "Save Figure As" as an SVG (with the following settings) -The SVG comes out as Arial Unicode MSI do see that

In a Creo Illustrate Figure, is it possible to have a section view only displayed in the inset? I do not want the section view on the main parent model in the figure view, only the section view.

Is there a way to show offset lines in exploded views in Creo View 5.1?  The Exploded view seems to publish fine, but the offset lines do not show up even when all construction geometry features are checked in the config settings (see below).

How do I get combined state view states tabs to appear in the main display of Creo View if it is possible. I have Creo Parametric 11 and Creo View 10.1.

Hello everyone,Unfortunately I have lost my settings. So far I have been able to restore more or less all of them.What is still missing is the antialiasing when exporting 2D views with 300dpi and *.bmp.I have now spent 3 hours looking for the right setting....without success.Then I saw that there are also ‘Settings’ under ‘Publish’.Here I edited the entry ‘Creo 2D’ under ‘Publish/’2D images’ and set “Antialiasing” --> “High”. Unfortunately, this does not work.Questions:- How do I set antialiasing when exporting 2D illustrations?- Why are there separate settings ‘Options’ and ‘Publish/Settings’?- Why is the needed setting not under ‘Options/Global’, but only under ‘Options/Illustration’?- And why in God's name does a trained engineer have to spend 3 hours searching for the right setting? Best regardsRamon(Siemens-Energy)

At present a customers uses IsoDraw CADProcess for creating cgm files with hotspots. Customers would like to switch from IsoDraw to Creo Illustrate, but hotspotting functionality is missing in Creo Illustrate.   Thank you and best regards, Jozef.
