For an animation, you can move the cursor to whatever time you want within the animation.For sequences you can only move forward and backward. Is there a way to get to a specific time within a sequence animation similar to an animation?

I would like to do two things with Java API.1.Can I automatically assign color to the wire (Fiber) using the property color?2. For unconnected pins, the Connection point is set to 0, but the term name is the part name that we have assigned in the CSV files. Can You say with Java API when connection point is set to 0 that it takes term name Empty?

I am using Creo Illustrate 7.1. I have a callout for all the bolts in my figure but the callout is for the left hand side. I want to move the callout to one of the bolts on the right side. How do I move this callout so that it still highlights all the bolts related to the callout?

Hello,  I'm new to Creo View eCAD, but after working with the PTC service team, we are able to open up .pcb files from Siemens Xpedition inside of Creo View eCAD. In demos of Creo View eCAD (which are over a decade old), this can be taken a step further and married to the mCAD model of that circuit card assembly.  How do we marry eCAD & mCAD files in Creo View so that we can view both as once, like the image below: 

I just upgraded to Creo Illustrate 10 and I'm having a hard time searching for parts. Anytime I try to do Ctrl + F to find a part nothing happens! I tried adding the Find Function to my quick access toolbar and its totally greyed out. Any ideas what I could do to fix it?

Hello All.I recently started working on CreoView and after having moved from Solidworks, I am unable to use shortcuts for viewing objects quickly such as (ctrl+1,2,3...) for viewing the model in different orientations. Can  anyone please tell me how to use these shortcuts to improve the productivity

SO say I have a sensor in this NHA structure.When I open up the full top level assembly model of the entire car say it looks like this. 000-900-111 =Car full assembly      >  000-111-285= Engine compartment installation           >000-285-358= Engine assembly                >000-358-001 part 1                >000-358-002 part 2                >000-907-783 Sensor 1                >Ect.... When I go look at the part path idCreo view will take those long part number and convert them into a shortform part id path so 000-900-111 it might make an 8 and all the other parts also get an assignm

Hi, Most of our assemblies created in Creo contain background objects which do not participate in BOM. They just facilitate the layout, including skeleton objects. The problem is that all of those objects, which are not suppressed, are getting published by the WVS Worker and are available down the stream in Creo View and Creo Illustrate (however they're not present in MAPSB, PPB, visualization tabs). Is there a way to set the worker up in such a way that those viewables won't contain such geometry and structure? Or is there a different workflow that would let us get this outcome other than suppressing all of those objects in CAD? Kind regards,Tom

Are Shrink wrap skeleton surfaces NOT viewable in Creo View Lite? Is it better to use Stp, iges, etc.instead?I'm trying to route some piping/wiring on a unit. But NOT having to load the whole unit. Hi,I want to replace the part in a tree structure but I want the sequence animation to be preserved.All applied animations seem to be gone if you replace the part with the same name in a tree.Please let me know how to keep animations so I don't need to reanimate them.

I have multiple 3D figures that I want to save as a single PDF.   How do I do this?    

I've created many figures.  On each, I organize the parts and annotations  in the view; setup page for letter/landscape and  I "Use current view"   than I save the file.   When I activate the figure again, sometimes the page setup is lost and the parts/annotations have shifted.  If I "go to figure view" parts/ annotation return to how I originally set them up but the letter/landscape page setup is gone.   Has any  one else seen this behavior?

The customer would like to just have the dimension for example just 105 instead of Min Dist 105 2. How could you remove ",prt" in the name when you use a callout with item Tag? /Fredrik

Hello all,maybe it has been ask many times, and for all I know, it seems not possible. But at least I will also ask for it:Is it possible to export a shaded 2d figure (e.g. in the attachment) to a shaded vector graphic? Or, to ask another question:Does anyone in the forum use Creo Illustrate to create illustrations and then finally convert them into vector graphics? I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0In Creo Schematics, when exporting sheets to PDF format and printing directly, all the labels are thin and non-arial bold. I'm Using default font called "font". Just upgraded from Creo 4.0 to Creo 7.0 and the thickness and font type that they export are different. In Creo 4.0 all text labels are Arial Font and bolded depending on label which is what I want. When I moved to Creo 7.0 all text labels are thin and in non-arial font no matter if you export PDF or Print Directly. Is there a configuration that I am missing? From what I have investigated myself all of the settings seem to be the same. Thanks

What is the purpose of a having a markup tab in Creo View Express and Creo Lite, If those markups cannot be saved? I'm trying to communicate with my engineers, They are either working remote or in the field and all they have are these viewers. Are they strictly for viewing only?
