Other Creo Products (View/Sketch/Illustrate/Layout/ Schematics and Creo Direct)

So I know that using the Custom Commands we can open the EPMdocument and WTDocument pages in Windchill from the Creo View model tree. Is there a url syntax I can use to open the info page of a drawing asociated to the WT or EPM document? Im trying to find an easier way for users to get to the drawing of a part after finding the part visually in 3D.   Thanks

Can we confirm the pvz created by Creo7.0 on Creo View Mobile? The pvz file include annotation ( of 3DMBD )

Is there a way to place annotations on the model, where the annotations are attributes of the top level Assembly model.   I know it is possible to do this at part level but cannot seem to add attribute annotations at assembly level.   Any ideas?

Hello to all,I noticed that the command copy step (ctrl + C) within a sequence does not copy correctly the movements made in the original step.The same goes for the invert step command.Is it a bug or something wrong? ty,Matteo.

I have added a decal under file/options/illustrations/model/decal.  Initially, the Decals icon under Home/Style was enabled , but the decal drop down options (Add Decal/Edit Decal) were disabled.    I am not sure what I did, but now the Decals icon under Home/Style is still grayed out.    I have been through the online manual about Working with Decals and don't see anything.  Can someone please help?

Is it possible to reuse publishing settings created in File >Options > Illustarate > Publishing > 3D/2D Publishing? Now, whenever new file is created (File > New) - I have to recreate settings manually.

Is it possible to wrap text or fix the cell size in a report engine? I am trying to create a revision block for a drawing utilizing the report engine. The user would just have to alter the presets to apply their information. The picture attached shows what I am intending on doing. Currently, we have to adjust the cells and remove borders in order for it to appear correct.

If you work with Creo Elements Direct Modeling, Windchill and Illustrate, the full scope of Illustrate cannot be used.   An Elements Direct Modeling assembly is opened and processed via Windchill in Creo Illustrate. If the structure in Elements Direct is changed afterwards, e.g. during an index change, Illustrate does not recognize the new structure. It will only tell you that there is a change in the structure and that parts have lost the connection.   For this reason, Creo Illustrate should be improved so that a structural change is not only recognized but also correctly mapped.   BOM when creating the assemblychange message in IllustrateMessage about lost connectionsBOM after the change. Illustrate has lost connection of the parts and must be put back to Manuel.

Hello,   We start IsoDraw 7.3 M080 on our new NTB with Nvidia Quadro P600 and we have problem.   When I have drawing in 2D and go full page display (zoom out) the drawings get cracked.   When zoom in it works nice and fast.   We think problem is here with 2 GPU so we turn off integrated GPU in bios.   Problem is something like GPU wont work when display is bigger, somethink like saving off power.   Does anyone know where should be problem ? We are working from a Parts List in Windchill,  which creates a c3di file. When we Update Illustration and open the c3di file in Illustrate, every part that has an Item Number will have an annotation applied to it. So if I have 50 parts in the model, all of the parts will have an annotation when it is first opened. Also, when I make a new Figure, it does the same thing. It does this every time you open the c3di file whether it was saved like that or not.Is there a command that tells Illustrate to automatically populate every Item Number by default in some config file somewhere? I tried looking but I couldn't find anything. Windchill 11.1 Illustrate 6.0   Mike

We are the same team and do the same project at that same time. Our product consist of over 200 ea WID. One guy who is leader create BID. and then the other 3 guys create WID.   My questions are ;1. How to check BID-WID with separate BID & WID?2. How to work when team do the same project?

Hello,   I am attempting to compare two pdfs in Creo View.  (they have been opened as "drawings")   When I select the two items in the 'viewables' tab and I right click... there is no "compare" option to click on (as I have seen in tutorials and PTC instructions)   Any advice on how to turn on this 'compare' functionality within Creo View MCAD?   Thank you in advance

It looks like Creo View has been removed as a filter option in the PTC knowledgebase. Is there a different place I should search for Creo View information?

I am having some issues with getting a couple of assembly files to publish. I am guessing when we get to putting these files into a drawing, the publishing times will increase even more and still fail. Trying to get some parameters set so we can publish these drawing later in the week. I have increased the time outs to short 600 and the long to 5400. I have increased the publish.cadtimeout.assembly to 15000.   Any suggestions beyond increasing these numbers again? I will increase them later.   Windchill 11.0 m030 CPS16 Creo 4.0 m110      

I am using Creo parametric educational licence and Creo view express free version.   1. I have created 2 combinations states in the creo parametric model and selected publish option. I can see that and edit in Creo parametric but when I export / save as to Creo view (tried all 4 extensions), The combined states are not visible under viewables section.   2. The CAD color is too dark in Creo view but it is normal in creo parametric. Can it be made similar to creo parametric   Can anybody help. Thanks in advance.    

Connecting cables, wiring, flexible circuits are a large part of our assembly processes and need special attention. It would be awesome to be able manipulate cables and wiring in the cad model to simulate assembly more accurately. Would this be possible in the future?
