I am retrieving the following data from Windchill's PTC.ProdMgmt.GetValidStateTransitions() API:"Items": [{"Value": "INWORK","Display": "In Work"},{"Value": "RELEASED","Display": "Released"},{"Value": "CANCELLED","Display": "Canceled"}]We use these values to indicate the status of a part. If the part is ongoing, it is "In Work"; if it is canceled, it is "Canceled"; and if it is completed, it is "Released". The main problem here is that we cannot find the user who logged into Windchill and selected one of these statuses for the part. When we make such changes, the Modifier API does not show the information of the person who made the change. How can we identify the user who made this change?

Hello,Looking for some advice regarding working with Family tables in Creo and Windchill.We are working for some parts and assemblies with relatively large Familye Tables. (15 inst +)When updating one instance of these family tables, we know have to check-out allof the instances of this table and perform a set state if needed too.After that we can check-in the modified instance inclusive all the not modified instances.(causing an itteration uplift)I have read an article about the use of the config option: save_implicitly_verified_insts, which can be set on "NO".When set on NO you are able to check-in only the modified instance and the generic.But I am a little bit unsure if that is the way to go.Why is that not advised as best practice or are there better ways to solves this problem?Many thanks for your advice in advance.regards,Bert BusschersBenchmark

Version: Windchill 12.1   Use Case: I am setting up a test server for Windchill 12.1.2 wit Creo 9.0.8 and CreoView Adapter 9.1.0.0. Description: In Worker Agent Administration, I get a greyed out start flag for the worker and using the Start All flag, it returns Fails to Start for the server. If I go to the Adapter folder, I can manually start proeworker.bat and then I can start the worker in WAA.Auth.properties and agent.ini are set right, as compared to my 12.0.2 production system which works fine.In WVS.properties, I have set worker.exe.whitelist.prefixes=E\:\\PTC\\creo_view_adapters_91. This matches what I see when I look at the folder in windows explorer.Are there any other files that control publishing that I have missed?

How to get whole classification tree structure like <Classification>/Parts/Mechanical/Heater</Classification> in the ESIReleased xml file. Considering implementing security labels for tagging ITAR vs EAR (Civil) parts and data. I think the documentation covers this pretty well. The only question for those who have done this is, do you store the ECCN code as well. From what I can tell, that is not part of security labels since answering the first question of ITAR vs EAR is enough. Did you implement this as an attribute? I am working on Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4 with a pilot installation of Pro/Intralink 9.1.I'm testing "what-if" functionality, where I'm modifying objects in my Workspace WITHOUT checking any of them out.I opened up an assembly, then opened a part in the assembly. I changed a dimension, then a conflict window popped-up, prompting me to check-out the model. Since I didn't want to check-out the model, I chose Continue, instead. Then it let me change the dimension and regenerated the model.I went back to the assembly and regenerated the assembly. I got a conflict warning - Read Only object regenerated (my assembly - OK so far).I clicked Save for my assembly, and got a conflict about it - The object is read only as it is not checked out. I changed the Action to Continue, then clicked OK.What I was expecting to happen is that the assembly and the part that I modified would get saved. Instead, the message window says that the assembly could not be saved to the workspace.I looked at the message

Hello Experts, The Reporting Domain (v1) of Windchill REST Services is having errors responding to the /ReportTemplates endpoint. The query was running from long time for specific users and there are several errors in the method server log around that time.   We do not have any custom WRS domains. Noticed many errors/warnings like Delegate not found for selector/couldn't find the imported domain.   Since, Report Template represents Windchill object that is a saved query, that can be used to generate and run a query. The ReportTemplate entity represents Persistable information about report templates.                 Every Report template object is represented as an entity type in metadata with QML attributes as its Properties. Report templates are non-persistable entities. Report templates are auto generated based on the number of report templates that exist.   So, having below quest

I'm likely missing something here, but cannot seem to figure out how to upload .stk files created using the piping application within windchill. I'd like to standardize our hose stock files for use in creation and routing of hydraulic hoses and windchill seems to the best place to store these.  I've tried to manually import to a new workspace to check-in (similar to .mtl files import/check-in) , but the in-creo windchill workspace import doesn't show .stk file extensions,  I can create a document and attach the line stock there, but the piping application will not find the *.stk that is content of the respective document.  Am I missing something?

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: A basic OOTB Translation Management use case - First time Translation of a Released Publication Structure with just two textual contents for testing the OOTB Translation flow.Description: After clicking the 'Create Translation Package' from a Released Publication Structure, the package is generated as configured. At this point, from the Pubication Structure -> Translation Content Table, I can see the 'Translation Names' (Target objects) in 'In Translation' status and the related 'Package ID' for the baseline object. I can update the package and zip it back to put in the Import directory. Now when the import happens successfully (disappers from the import directory) I cannot see the 'Translation Names' (Target objects) nor the 'Package ID' from the Pubication Structure -> Translation Content Table. I'm worried that some of these accounts I wish to close have some kind of responsibilities on them that would produce unforeseeable consequences, for example all process from a workflow might go through that account. How do I find out the account's responsibility and effect?Also, is there a way to find out the heavy/light user in the system for this windchill version?Thank you so much for your help. Version: Windchill 12.0   Use Case: The CPS18 staging dir does not contain an iinnnnnnn file in any of the instreg directories Description: I am still having trouble (you will see a recent question with a similar name).The psi_iir.xml file under ~/.ptc/windchill/psi_iir_index.xml contains:<Instance location="/opt/ptc/Windchill_12/PSI" id="ii nnnwith an old id corresponding to an iinnn directory under my CPS11 staging directory.   The new (CPS18) staging dir does not contain an iinnnnnnn file in any of the instreg directories:CPS18/windchill_12.0.2.18_service_pack/Disk1/InstallerData/instreg   Am I supposed to create the new iinnn directory in the CPS18 staging directory manually?
