Hello,Friends, we want to set up the testing processes of our products within Windchill. In general, we have a testing process consisting of 8 steps and we check the success and failure statuses.But the important thing is that we also want to keep the versions of the tests here. I can't decide which type to use here. Which one do you think is the most suitable? Have you encountered it before?

How to fetch only modular parts from ProductManagement - 'GetParts' API

Hello, Visualization in my DEV server is not getting generated for some of the objects, I am getting an error saying, "Error: Config builder was not found for id: PSB.vizLE". Has anyone faced this error before, if so, please provide your inputs on the resolution. Note: The issue is not being observed in all objects, only in some of them. Thanks,Sha 

We would like to disable Revise action from Folder Browser's action if certain condition doesn't matches our expectations. It can be achieved through Object's Details page, But couldn't perform the same in Folder Action.  Or else, Throwing explicit exception while revising the object from Folder Browser would also be fine. Please suggest your opinion dear friends!!

  I want the users to be able to edit only few columns(Comments or Disposition Comments), and make the other columns/fields read-only in this table. Is it possible with basic customization/configuration?

hello, we have a business requirement that they have already checked in all their project CAD files into windchill and they are in release state. now they want those files (Soldiworks 2014&2019) to be upgraded as to open it with Solidworks 2022. Do we have any provision in windchill to replace those files with upgraded Solidworks 2022 files without changing any attribute or metadata of all those documents, just replaces the physical files/CAD files with newly upgraded files so that when user tries to access it from Windchill UI, they should be able to see upgraded files of Solidworks 2022 directly.@BenLoosli

Hi , Anyone aware if we can get the "Set Location" value changed during the check in of CAD object from workspace. 1. User will create a CAD Document in Workspace with Context is (ABC)2. User will change the context using Set Location available in Check In options  (XYZ)3. the CAD object is created in ABC only is there a API to get the changed location value ?  above options are not based on UI, we have some customization to check the valid objects to valid container which the validation is handled via listener during check in.   

I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.5.0My engineering team has been experiencing two new issues this week that have affected multiple people working on completely separate projects. Error 1: This error comes up when attempting to promote recently checked in objects. From the publisher it seems that it is in the que to be promoted correctly, but there is no person assigned to do the review/accept. The person promoting it usually assigns these to themselves, but we don't see any requests.Error 2: It occurs when attempting to upload assemblies (4 separate ones so far with no similarities that can be found) that use existing parts (but not all). We are used to having to re-download the correct version of some common parts before checking in, but when going through the process of add>download on all these parts we would usually regenerate and reupload from Creo. However, regenerating it makes windchill think we've modified those parts again and refuses to let us upload

We automated the process of duplicating the ManufDS and associated Process Plan from the MAPSB by extracting the number and name of the ManufDS and filling them into the corresponding fields of the Process Plan. To achieve this, we developed a custom class that extends the default DuplicateProcessPlanAssociationCopyOverDelegate class and modified certain methods. I'm embarking on a "remove duplicates" effort in our environment and am doing some tests to finalize how best to approach it.  The obvious "Replace with New" and "Replace with Existing" WTParts seem to be the way to go. Looks like "Supersede" and adding effectivity impacts WTPart for any downstream efforts - like eBOM/mBOM converstion and flagging components.  I'm struggling with understanding what or how "Publish to CAD" is supposed to do. Best I'm able to get it to work when I replace a WTpart in a structure is to have it replace the part in my CAD assembly and then remove everything else in that assembly. That seems the opposite of the desired behavior. Am I missing something?  Is there a feature in "Supersede" that will replace or disallow use of a superseded component or is the best it offers a flag? 

Hi,failing to find explanation in documentation,how can one use the "Externally Distributable" Optional Attribute for Attachments (WTDoc) ? Is it related to Package creation, include / exclude based on this? Looks like it can't be added as a column in e.g. Structure view, correct? (Windchill 11.1 M020)

Has anyone tried to create a custom input page for a Jasper report with an itempicker?  I see that the ootb  ChangeSummary report uses one - I tried to copy the pattern where it uses a .js script to set the contextOid (of the selectedobject) as a hidden input (and verify it is set when I debug) and submits the form but it is not getting passed to the report task.xml.   Thanks.
