I have had this before, but today I look at the main Creo Parametric Community page & see that I have 4 unread post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Parametric/ct-p/creoparametric But when I check the sub-page, the posts on not in the top (4) pages. Here is a sample of the first page: Why wouldn't an unread post bubble up to the top of the list? At least until it is read.
I am attempting to provide more information by replying to this post: 500 Error and Empty ContentInfos during stage 2 up... - PTC Community Every time I create a reply, it posts successfully, and shows the additional reply when viewing the list of discussions. However, when I re-visit the thread, my reply post is gone. This happened 3 times, and I still have not been able to complete my reply.
Example: I see when checking my just sent post that I accidentally attached a wrong file as an attachment and would like to replace it with the correct one.(This happened to me just now).I also can't find a button that offers a change option. Or am I blind?1. is it intended that the owner can not change his own post after sending? (Or is this only the case on weekends ?)2. since when has this been the case? I remember that it was possible before.3. found this post, what of it is still valid. The community and KB web pages have been loading very slowly for a few days now. Verification performed with 3 different browsers:- Firefox (with ADB disabled)- Chrome (as above)- Microsoft Edge Edge doesn't have any extension installed and, while loading pages much faster than the other two browsers, in my opinion it's still slow, with the usual wheel that keeps spinning even if the page is loaded.
I create a reply to a topic or a new topic and after that I don't see it in the forum.It does not become visible.Created an idea yesterday, replied to several threads and made a comment on one idea.One reply became visible this morning and the comment on the idea already yesterday.If you write a reply and do not see a response you assume that something did not work or there was an error.I sended one reply for the 3rd time this morning.Still not visible.Why is there the delays or why nothing arrives at all? Hello all, I was wondering that how can i access to ptc cloud portal?I found some thingworx demo project which able to review by linked VM.It requires to go enter the ptc cloud portal but if i try to login nothing happens(no error msg, no any alert..) ...after stumbling around this frustrating site for 10 minutes. So I'm posting this here. Admins can feel free to move it or whatever (like make your site easier to navigate). Is there a way to set up an on-demand publishing of a .step file (through the Windchill interface)? We currently publish PDF and PVZ files. Our purchasing agents would like to be able to send out .step files. I don't want to publish .step for every file we ever check in, but I'd like them to have the abiltiy to publish for whatever files they need. TYIA.

Hi.Is there a way to add additional information to reported issue/article by someone else?For example https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS373596?source=SPR%20ViewerNo only v9.0 is affected but 7.0 as well. It's just an example.
Is it just my view of the Community, or was it a global setting (not under my control) that changed the font of the text of postings in this community. I have some serious objections to the new font. There is NO discernable difference between a 0 and an o, (those are a zero and a lower case o) and the difference between . and , (a dot and a comma respectively) is too small. Please change the font back to the previous one, or choose another font that clearly discerns 0 from o, , from . and i from l, 1 and I (this is a problem encountered in some other fonts). Luc
The search suggestions should probably align with PTC product names. This one does not:
Trying to search for "hide witness lines show arrows" returns results mostly centered around the word "with" - in 2022. Googling "hide witness lines show arrows site:community.ptc.com" at least returns something relevant, even if not helpful. Google is free - Creo costs me $3k a year - forgive me, but something doesn't add up here. Sure you can "propose" changes - but PTC has never listened to anyone holding less than a few dozen seats and certainly doesn't care about anyone with only a handful - which seems to be much of the community. Maybe we'd be better served on stackexchange or something like that. I don't know the answer, but this community ain't it.
When searching for an idea, there is no indication whether the idea is active or archived or implemented until you have entered the post. (see example images below) It would be helpful to include the status in the search window. In the example image below, the second result in the search is exactly what I was looking for but upon clicking on the link, I learned that idea was archived, which makes it useless for my purposes.
Specifically in Creo Parametric CAD Within the customization forum mapkeys and UI customization controlled with the creo_parametric_customization.ui files should have a dedicated forums. Currently mapkey and UI customization topics without the use of Toolkit are showing up in modeling and customization forums and there is no mapkey tag to make searches more efficient.
Is it possible to add additional information to the email headers? Currently, all email from addresses come through as: PTC Community <mailer@us.khoros-mail.com> What I would like to see is something like this: PTC Community-Creo <mailer@us.khoros-mail.com> or PTC Community-Windchill <mailer@us.khoros-mail.com> or PTC Community-MathCad <mailer@us.khoros-mail.com> This would help organize the emails and allow us to open only those which pertain to subjects that we have knowledge of.
What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?Be able to add or correct information in the original post without re-posting that information as a comment.
Is it just me who feels that the new default font and its grey color (at least it doesn't look black, maybe because its so thin) is less clear and less legible than it used to be?
I was recently viewing a Creo Parametric Tip. Is there anyway to adjust the speed of play to 1.25, 1.50, 1.75,... like you can with YouTube videos? I typically will watch something like this on either 1.25 or 1.50 speed. I'll slow down if someone speaks 500 words per minute with gusts up to 1000.
How exactly am I expected to exclude answers from 2014?
Is the security alert for log4j still something that needs to be on the community? I'm just curious. Seems as if its "old news", in vunerability timeframes??

When I pasted the post into the body, the software decided it needed to fix my numbering on the topics: So 9 became 11, 8 went to 12, so on and so forth. Is this a bug in the software? Thanks, Dale
The login behaviour has changed so that after login we find ourself at the (rather useless) main start page and not in the forum we came from as it used to be. Thats very annoying! Could this be changed back to what it used to be. Even better as it used to be a much longer time ago when we could (without being logged in ) reply to a posting, automatically were redirected to the login mask and after login we found ourself exactly were we came from - the reply window and could immediately type our reply. I don't understand why usability gets worse with every change! It definitely should be the other way round. I understand the reason for the (far too large on computer screens) new login page - obviously a tribute to smartphone access and a sign that developers are too lazy (or don't have the resources) to maintain differently designed pages for different devices. This is seen quite often nowadays and we have to live with this I guess.But the place where we are redirected after the login
Some fairly short time after logging in, perusing the Community, deciding to work up a worksheet, I return to the board to find this (after a refresh): Would it be possible to auto-login to the Community, as per the large majority of other boards that I use? Stuart
I'm currently also trying to review all the published ideas (I'm on page 50 of 238). I also saw some of them that were repeated or could be merged, others already implemented, but I was not so methodic as @StephenW to take note of them and aid @olivierlp in the process. I'll try to do it going forward.
