Tags are tools for organizing and filtering community topics.  Tags are chosen by the author of a new topic from a predefined list. Each board has a list of tags created by the community team. For example, when you post a question on our Mathcad board, you can select a tag to indicate that the question is about installation. You should chose at least ONE tag. We recommend to apply only one tag, 2 or 3 maximum. Other users can use this tag when filtering posts. To summarize Tags:Can only be chosen by the author of the topic Come from a predefined list 

When entering a search on the forum, you can add various filters.   When you chose "author", there is a drop down arrow. Could you make the author of the search for the post (myself) automatically the first drop down for this category? Sometime when trying to help others, I remember either a comment I made on someone else's post or a question I posted some time ago.

Contents of mapkey_show_and_run_2024-10-07.zip I clicked Post button. Following error message was displayed. I removed attachment and clicked Post button again >>> Success.

When orchestrating a search within the Community and filtering by author is desired, would it be possible to make the individual searcher the first thing in the drop down unless you start typing in the keyword box? Frequently I am searching for something I have posted in the past and cannot remember what the solution was and I am trying to find the post that I had originally created.      

I started a new post in the PTC Community Feedback, but when I went to submit, it asked me to select a location. I expanded the PTC Community Information Center and there was able to pick PTC Community Feedback. Not sure why since I started there in the first place.      

I recently did a search on "Color ObJ". There were some good results, Not sure why some of the post are archived (unless it was from different forum structure and wasn't ported over to the new structure). But if it is archived, should there be a color change or other identifier that the post has been archived?   This post had been archived.   Thanks, Dale  

It looks like you are just responding with standard messages to threads that aren't marked as solved. This gives a very unprofessional impression, especially in this case where: • the question of the original poster is pretty clear as it was previously rated by you as 'well documented'.• the question is obviously not answered, and should actually be answered by a PTC employee, maybe a sales rep. Instead of that, you could have found a colleague, that can actually answer this question.   Success!Luc

Hello,I have used Creo and WCH ideas RSS but now seems to stop working. Am I correct?How to "subscribe" a list of new ideas only?Subscription of whole category gives me all posts/replies and I don't want them. If turn this off won't be notified for my own posts/replies so looks as not a proper solution to me.

Just perused the "How To's" to find out how to attached a file to your post. I know I've seen it in CAD area, but I thought I'd find it in the "How To's". Did I miss it?

Has Creo+ been added to the dictionary? Every time I type it, I get a red squiggly line.

Within Codebeamer suggestion ideas are it is not possible to search, therefore a field in the top for searching would be great. Otherwise I have to manual went through a lot of ideas.

Codebeamer Community Forum has officially  launched today, Tuesday, April 16th!.   The Codebeamer Community Forum is where Codebeamer customers can ask questions, collaborate, and discuss all things Codebeamer with PTC and  industry experts!   Special shout out to all of our early adopters that came on our forum today  to ask a question or give a reply!  I can't wait to check in tomorrow to see all the interaction and how this engagement continues to grow!                          

I was recently perusing product ideas and after sorting by date (instead of "Hot Ideas") started working my way down the ideas. I came across an idea, opened it and spent some time with it until I realized that the idea had been archived even though it was less than a month old. How bout changing the color of the word archived to red to more visually note this.    

Could there be an easier way to get to the duplicate idea of an idea that status is "duplicate" than have to click on the original post, scroll through the comment and then click on the link to the duplicate post? Could that link be posted in the header somewhere?

We currently host ideas boards covering all business segments and major products. Every Community member with a customer support contract can post an idea. However, all Community members can vote on published ideas. Beyond the practical details, your contributions need to be placed in the right context to better understand their value. Product ideas typically attract new users who are on their way to mastering a product and see an opportunity to improve it. Experienced users also post ideas. Such users have a deep understanding of the product—sometimes decades of industry experience and expertise. They are actively helping others on the Community and publish suggestions for the product managers. You might ask, what is the role of a  product manager? March comes with two big platform updates on the PTC Community, the gating of PTC Community Ideas and a new Windchill Customization board. Gated PTC Community Ideas   Effective today (3/8) all PTC Community ideas for all PTC products are only visible and available to CustomersWithSupport or those under a maintenance agreement with PTC.  You can read more details about this on  the Getting to Know PTC Community Ideas FAQ.   The idea icon will still be available under the menu for all visitors or members of the PTC Community.   Windchill Example: (Applies to all idea boards all products).       If someone is not logged in or does not have a community CustomerWithSupport account.  They will receive this message from the community explaining why they are unable to access ideas and how to upgrade their account.       Coming Soon!  Windchill Customization Board   Be on the look out for more information on the new discus
