Hi, I have a problem about Creo 2.0 shotdown while I open a file from client.The creo version of my client is 2.0 M110 and mine is 2.0 M020.We can open the file from each other before but a file now.So I try to create a new prt file and use copy geometry with that file, then creo show a message as belowI also attend to fix this issue with this solution : Creo 2.0 Parametric Fatal Error encountered‌ but it dont works.The attachment file is traceback.log.Does any way to open the file ??

I have just started working on incorporating the Top down design apporach in our design. I would like to share a error which I came across working in Interchange assembly Pro/Program.   Issue: I have an main assembly "SMK0001.ASM" in which I have an sub-asembly named "SMK0002XXX1.asm" which is a family table component of generic named "SMK0002XXXX.asm" Now I need to replace "SMK0002XXX1.asm" with its other instance named " SMK0002XXX2.asm". it is possible for me to replace those by replace option in GUI.   But when I tried to make it as pro/program i am getting an error message as follows " ERR: the model to be added is non-existent or not interchangeable".   Please someone Guide me how to achieve the same. since we need this feature to be used in our design approach in many places.   Regards, Manikandan S.

I am trying to load Creo 3 on computer for FTC team. M010 installed but with just the basics - no Diagram, NC stuff, etc. Another member downloaded and has the full suite. A third has the "reduced" capability as I have gotten. The license files are much larger 17K vs. 7K. Creo 2 was previously loaded, since uninstalled.A couple of uninstall and reinstall had the same ending. Now I get an ERROR message when trying to install M010.M010 was uninstalled, M020 downloaded and attempted to install. At the license step, I get the rotating blue circle and a "Not Responding" message.Any idea what is going on? Anybody see this. Everytime I add a new option to a user config.pro (this is after initial launch of Creo 2.0 M050) it will save the option but appends it with 11 ! points. See below... If I add multiple options within the same session of Creo 2.0 it will only add 11 ! once time. As soon as I exit and restart Creo 2.0 and add a new config.pro option it appends it again with 11 ! I am the Project Manager for an RWDC team, located in Pleasanton, California. I am getting ready to submit our journal, however, I'm not sure who to send it to. Our state has no state coordinator, but last year I sent the journal to Mr. Anthony Coppola, who I realize is no longer with the challenge. I was wondering where I need to send the journal to, in order to submit it successfully.

Sorry for my poor englishThe quick installation guide says students can download and install creo 2.0 from www.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp but when I open the link, I saw the creo 3.0 download manager.Now the question is if I can choose the creo 3.0 download manager instead of the creo 2.0 download manager, and use the product code in the installation guide to active the creo 3.0 student editon.

I have installed Creo 3.0 for university students for the free 30 days. The PTC Creo parametric, PTC creos imulate 3..., and PTC Creo options show on my wallpaper but when I click them, it says "missing shortcut," and "windows is searching for parametric.exe..."   Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to open it? I have Windows 8. I believe I installed it correctly. (I used license code and it said "success" and then "finish".)   Thank you in advance!!!

I found a thread with some intructions for adding images to surfaces, but they were for ProE menus. I thought I'd share how to do it in Creo - it really gives your robot model a "pop". Basically, you are going to create an appearance like a color or a texture and then you will apply it to a surface on a part. Here's the step by step:Select the arrow next to the Appearance Gallery Icon >>More Appearances – Appearance Editor comes up. Select the Map tab, go down to Decal and select “Image” from the pull down menu. Select the box to the left and a file selection menu will come up. In the select type pull down menu you can specify which type of image file to look for, navigate to the folder and file containing the image file you want to use, then select it. This will become an appearance choice that you can apply to a surface. It auto-sizes the image to fit the entire surface – there is a choice to edit decal placement but it seems to be grayed out and I haven’t been able to get it t

I work at the University of Michigan - Flint. We use Creo Parametrics Manufacturing to run our HAAS Mill. I have problems with various things such as drilling sequences. I can make it drill however I have to add a G83 to the mix as Creo does not have this line transferred over. What issues have you had with Creo Parametrics Manufacturing?

Would a 575 lb. aircraft with a 15 foot wingspan be a sufficient design?

According to the Detailed Background, it says our UAV can go up to 1320 lbs. However, when we attended the webinar, they say that it's not recommended for our aircraft to go over 55 lbs, and that we'll need a Private Pilot's License for our aircraft. Right now, our planned aircraft weighs about 1300 lbs. However, if needed, we can switch back to our smaller design. What do you guys think? And is it recommended to build such a large aircraft?
